They also had an excellent remnant that worked beautifully for the small area around our fireplace, which saved us time and money without compromising on quality. The installation team--Alex and Mykola--were fantastic. And Mykola, in particular, deserves an extra shout-out for his meticulous attention to detail. When it comes to quartz and countertops, precision is everything, and he truly delivered. Our template specialist, Mike, was also excellent--professional, accurate, and efficient. You really don't want to gamble when it comes to countertops. Go with professionals who stand by their work, bring real expertise, and offer proper warranties. Definitely get a few quotes (always smart!), and I think you'll find ProGranite may not be the absolute cheapest but absolutely delivers excellent value. Stay tuned for photos

From the beginning, Andrew helped us choose the right stone and select the best slabs for our large island with waterfalls, as well as our fireplace. We ultimately went with Taj Mahal quartzite -- and it looks absolutely stunning. Communication throughout the project was excellent. Mike came out to take precise measurements and offered helpful suggestions we wouldn't have thought of. ProGranite even provided a visual layout of how the slabs would be cut so the vein lines would flow seamlessly -- we really appreciated that attention to detail. When it came time for installation, everything happened exactly on schedule. Alex, Yuan, and Mykola did a fantastic job. They installed all countertops in just two days and addressed any small concerns right on the spot. The seams, especially on the waterfall edges, are practically invisible -- it looks like one solid piece of stone. We're thrilled with the final result and with how smooth the whole process was. Highly recommend ProGranite to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and great service!

They were a pleasure working with from selecting the stone in the office, measuring our kitchen, to installing. We had a sort of non-standard window shelf that we weren't sure how it would turn out, but they gave us a few options (with drawings, measurements, and schematics so we could see in detail) for the raised bay window. Installation was quick and easy. We're very happy we went with Integrity.

Overall, I'm really happy with my quartz countertops from Integrity Stonework. The quartz looks…read moregreat, it was cut well to the shape of my kitchen, and the seam between 2 countertop pieces is practically invisible. The process from enquiring to ordering was very straightforward and easy to engage with. I was able to go and view the quartz prior to them cutting it to shape. The only road bump we hit was with installation. For the most part it was a good installation job, but it turned out that one of my cabinets was a bit higher than the others, which wasn't visible with the old counters. The installation team pointed out to me that they had to put an additional piece of wood under the counter in that location, but they didn't point out that it then made that counter higher than the others, and I didn't see that when they showed me. I only noticed the height difference after the installers left. My feedback is that I would have liked the installers to have been more explicit about this height difference before they glued the quartz down. I was relying on Integrity Stonework to be the experts for this installation, so trusted that they would point items like this out. After the installation, I had to pay an additional company to come in and remove the countertop to adjust the cabinet before gluing the quartz down again as Integrity Stonework did not offer to come and fix it, despite my request to them to make good on this. To be fair, the installation team did point out a different issue with countertop leveling in a different part of the kitchen prior to gluing items down. I think the height differential was just an unfortunate hiccup as part of this journey, so be thorough and ask to check the countertops prior to anything being glued down!

TASK: Remove existing backsplash and countertop and install a new backsplash and countertop…read more PROBLEM 1: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE COUNTERTOPS. Nothing was covered. All contents of the drawers were contaminated by demolition materials. In addition, during the demolition, the underlayment of the countertops was damaged. As stated in the contract, this was not to be addressed by Granite and Marble Specialists (GMS). Once the island countertop was removed, you could see that a heavy layer of glue remained on the underlay. The installers said that that was not their responsibility. They installed the countertop over the uneven underlayment of the residual glue. This meant that there were up to 1/2 inch gaps between the counter and the underlayment, stretching a span of 108.5 inches. Over time, this will lead to instability and breakage of the stone. The installers forged ahead and installed the new countertop independent of the gaps. The installers were adamant that they had installed the island countertop to level. RESULT: We had to remove the new countertop and have the surface sanded to level before having them reinstall the countertop. PROBLEM 2: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE BLACKSPLASH AFTER DEMOLITION. This meant that it was the homeowner's responsibility to install drywall and to make sure that the backsplash was level. The backsplash was 1.5 inches unlevel from one end of the backsplash to the other. Thus, in addition to the provision of drywall because the existing drywall was damaged during demolition, we had to shim the drywall to ensure the backsplash was level for the backsplash installation. RESULT: We had to go buy wood, cut it to the specific dimensions and install the new underlayment for the backsplash. IN SUM: GMS provided what the contract stated, an installed countertop and backsplash. It was not stated in the contract that it be level or that it be level to the degree that it was level prior to the new installation. The installers showed it to be level because the countertop was 108.5 inches long X 46 inches wide X 3cm deep. So, BEWARE. If this is the type of installation you are looking for, this is the organization for you.
