When I checked my total I decided that I did not want to pay a certain price for one of the items. So I went back into the store a minute later and asked her to only repair one of the clothes and I would take back the other one. She responded with such blame saying that it was my fault that I misheard her. I did admit that I misheard the price. But because she was so upset with me she decided to refuse service for me on all the clothes that I brought in and sent me away telling me to go find better prices somewhere else.

Service is very friendly and personable. There is a dressing room where the tailor can measure exactly how much needs to be hemmed. 1 Star - Would Not Trust With High-End Garments…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Tracey's Cleaners in Montebello and want to warn others before they trust this business with expensive clothing. When I picked it up, the jacket had significant damage that was not present before cleaning. The bonded seams had ruin and were peeling apart throughout the garment, and the down insulation had become heavily clumped, causing the jacket to lose much of its warmth and functionality. The jacket is now in a condition where it cannot be worn as intended. What was even more frustrating was the response from the owner. Instead of taking responsibility or attempting to work toward a fair resolution, I was told the jacket was "too old." If they believed the garment was too fragile or risky to clean, that should have been disclosed before any work was performed. She even inspected the jacket prior and claim, Whats worse she sends it to 3rd party to do the work and says there are the best. She will play games with you. Went back there 5 times waiting for an response and no solution. I understand that accidents can happen, but businesses should communicate honestly, obtain customer approval before proceeding, and stand behind their work when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with your EXPENSIVE OR DElicate items. Because no reasonable resolution was offered, pursuing recovery of my losses through Small Claims Court is the only option. If you own luxury, technical, bonded, or high-value garments, I would strongly recommend exercising caution before bringing them here.

If you are unsure of the length, there is a dressing room in the back with full length mirror and she will help you pin them to your desired length. Turn around time was one week each time. We had two suit pants, one skirt and one stretchy pants. One of the suit pants needed a smaller waist band. The pants around the waist was loose but there were a lot of fabric making it look extremely oversized. So the entire pants needed to be cut down a couple sizes. The other pants just needed to be tailored at the ankle. The stretchy pants and the skirt also needed to be tailored to be shorter. When I gave her my pants and skirt, she noticed immediately that they're from Uniqlo without even looking at the tag. When I tried to ask Uniqlo to tailor my pants, they said their machine would ruin it. So I took it upon myself to use those cheap brothers sewing machine to hem up the pants. I clearly didn't do a good job and Han saw it and easily guessed that I used a portable brothers sewing machine. After getting them back, the pants fit perfectly and not loose at all. Han hemmed everything up really well and for a really affordable cost. We weren't in a rush to get them back but she did it in a week. She also had a lot of work to do from other clients, so for her to finish in a week was amazing. When you meet her, don't feel discouraged, she has a really monotone facial expression, but we chatted and she was friendly. If you need something done quick or small at an affordable price, would recommend seeing her.

The worst service experience I ever had was at this shop…read more I brought in a dress that I wanted cut into a shirt and she quoted me $20 and said she can have it ready by Monday. I came in Wednesday to pick up and she had not even started working on my garment. She said that she has been very busy and will be finished with it next Monday. I was understanding and said I would be back next week around 5 pm. Come next Monday, it is still sitting on the table where I left it, untouched. She said "did I say it would be done today?" and completely forgot about my order. She then again said it would be done by tomorrow and I gave her my phone number this time so she can contact me if anything happens again. I was annoyed at this point. The next day, I called her ahead of time and asked her if the garment was ready for pickup and she said yes. I arrive and it is NOT ready. The only thing she had done was messily cut the excess fabric off. I asked her how long it would take and she said she could finish it today but she could do a better job if I came back tomorrow. The following day, I call ahead of time again and ask if the garment is ready for real this time. She insists that it is and I tell her that I will come today to get it. I get there at 5:10 pm (she closes at 6 pm) and the door is locked and no one is inside. I call her again and she says she 'had something urgent' and left early. I am so frustrated at this point since I have been to her shop FOUR TIMES after she continuously promised I could pick up my order. She could have easily called me and told me that she was leaving early and not to come, but she decided to be extremely unprofessional and a horrid communicator even though she knew I was coming in. All the while, she never once apologized for her mistakes. When I finally was able to get my order, the "better job" she said she would do was something I expect from a beginner sewing student and not a professional. The fabric cutting was uneven, the surging of the fabric is very lopsided and at some points, even missing the fabric completely, and some of the topstitching skips the serging work she did. I also don't know what possessed her to use black thread on a pink garment. Worst of all, she decided to alter the garment in such a way that it is incredibly difficult to put on and take off. I will never support Han again and would recommend you also take your business elsewhere.
