Been coming to this tailor for over 15 yrs , they do such a good job. Took two dresses in done in a week and with the extra material the tailor made me matching mask.

On the wall by the dressing rooms. Trust they probably mean it

The quality of their work is great, as well as their price. Only downfall is that no longer able to take items for immediate alterations.

More importantly, the work itself is great. The price is fair, and it can add up when you have a lot done at once, but that comes with the territory. I have not seen mediocre work from them yet, everything comes out exactly how you want it. I will keep coming back and giving them my business for any alterations. Thank you.

I've had this leather jacket for almost ten years, but in the past two three years, it's gotten a bit too tight. To be fair, I got it during the era of the shrunken leather jacket, iykyk. I brought it to Puac. They told me that they don't have the fabric for it, and gave me direction to this fabric store downtown. I thought, well, I'm in this for the plot, and went where they told me. This let me know that Puac knows exactly what to look for. The fabric store was great, and when I told them who sent me, they gave me a 15% discount off the leather. When I brought the leather in, there was a week and a half turn around. They measured it out, and gave me an idea of how it would fit. I would say that you do pay for the quality of their work. It cost me about a hundred dollars for the tailoring alone, which I thought was absolutely worth it. The leather was $68. This is a jacket that I will continue to wear for a very very long time. I know that this tailor shop can do generally alterations, but I would trust them with more complex alterations and trickier fabrics to work with.

Armeene's Tailoring & Alterations

Armeene saved my wedding day!…read more I originally bought my dress from a local bridal shop that promised many customizations. They phoned it in for all of them. Sloppy work for everything. Some of it was ignorable or blended in enough to ignore, but specifically a belted area around the waist ended up noticeably sloppy and wider than I wanted. They made a bunch of excuses and shooed me out the door. I couldn't even look at the dress without being mad - not a great wedding day vibe. Armeene came to my rescue with only two weeks left until the wedding! She was clear with me that it would be difficult to pull off - the dress was constructed in a way that made the customization difficult (why did the dress shop even promise it?? Ugh). Not only did she and her assistant understand exactly what I wanted and pull it off nearly perfectly, they did it in only two days for a price that I found to be more than fair!! I will forever be grateful to her. The next time I need some pants hemmed or altered I'm heading her way again! I've attached some before and after pictures to show the magic!

After reading her great reviews, I decided to trust Armeene with my wedding dress. However, Armeene did a beautiful job and was reasonably priced! If you choose to have her alter your wedding dress, you'll know your dress will be in good hands. Also, she is incredibly friendly and has such a lovely personality. I greatly enjoyed working with her! Now onto what I got done. I knew when I bought my dress that I wanted a few things to happen: close or hide the trending deep V in the front, add detachable straps (I ordered them from the bridal studio), and take in the bust. I also need some regular alterations, hemming the dress, bustle, and taking it in a bit. She made all the changes happen and they looked absolutely amazing! I was very happy with how it turned out. I knew my dress wasn't an easy one to alter since she'd have to remove and replace the appliqué on it throughout the process, but she did an incredible job! I would recommend her to any bride who needs alterations!

Chief Cleaners - May is the best-est human being doing the finest work around! Her prices are fare but her character is what I'm impressed with.

I have been coming to Chief Cleaners for about five years. The owner said she has been in operation…read moresince, I think she said 1996, give or take. I don't come here much because I wear clothing that usually doesn't require dry cleaning, but when I do I come here. I work in the medical field in radiographic imaging at the hospital, so my scrubs just need to be washed in the washing machine at home. My other clothes, the same. There are some exceptions. I do come here to get my Alpha Industries Flight Jacket dry cleaned. This type of jacket needs dry cleaning. Don't throw it in the washing machine unless you want to destroy it. Occasionally I have to dry clean a suit if I have occasion to wear it. I may bring my mom's wool outfits occasionally as well. When I need some alterations or repair, I come here. If I buy new pants and they are too long I bring it here for hemming. I have a scrubs pants and the pocket stitching broke recently, so I brought it here. I was told it would be done Monday, which is a few days, yet the same day I got a text saying it was done, so I picked it up the next day. How's that for fast service and efficiency? I also had a pocket stitching on my Alpha Industries flight jacket come unstitched and brought it here for repair. This is a two-woman operation. I don't recall their names but one is the owner and she has an employee that does the alterations and repair as well as other things. The owner may also do that stuff too, but I know for sure the employee does that. Both are very nice people and a pleasure to deal with. The workmanship here is excellent as is the dry cleaning. The customer service is excellent too. Prices are great too. I highly recommend Chief Cleaners.

Wanted to get this stain removed for a wedding, but unfortunately, it was returned to me like this…read more When I brought it up, they told me they would have worked harder to remove the stain if I had given them more time. I'm confused as to why they would return it to me in this condition when the main reason I brought it in was specifically to have the stain removed. They still happily took my money despite not completing the service I came in for. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this cleaner if you're looking to have stains removed.

Han is super nice and knows what she's doing. She can see and tell you where things should be…read morefixed. We brought in four bottoms for her to adjust and it only costed $55. We had two suit pants, one skirt and one stretchy pants. One of the suit pants needed a smaller waist band. The pants around the waist was loose but there were a lot of fabric making it look extremely oversized. So the entire pants needed to be cut down a couple sizes. The other pants just needed to be tailored at the ankle. The stretchy pants and the skirt also needed to be tailored to be shorter. When I gave her my pants and skirt, she noticed immediately that they're from Uniqlo without even looking at the tag. When I tried to ask Uniqlo to tailor my pants, they said their machine would ruin it. So I took it upon myself to use those cheap brothers sewing machine to hem up the pants. I clearly didn't do a good job and Han saw it and easily guessed that I used a portable brothers sewing machine. After getting them back, the pants fit perfectly and not loose at all. Han hemmed everything up really well and for a really affordable cost. We weren't in a rush to get them back but she did it in a week. She also had a lot of work to do from other clients, so for her to finish in a week was amazing. When you meet her, don't feel discouraged, she has a really monotone facial expression, but we chatted and she was friendly. If you need something done quick or small at an affordable price, would recommend seeing her.
