I've been using Custom Ink for years. I've ordered hundreds of shirts/sweatshirts from them for various groups I work with. I only started having issues with them last year, but this last order experience is/was bad enough that I may have to find another company to work with going forward. Prior to placing the order, I had a lot of help from CustomInk staff in trying to work out the details of our design, as a few modifications had to be made from when the design was made previously. Unfortunately, things went downhill pretty fast after I placed the order. A couple of days after I ordered, I received the proofs. I had a few other people look over them, then went to approve them only to find that CustomInk had approved them for me. I ended up having to call to make sure the changes we needed were implemented, which CustomInk confirmed they were. With an order date of 11/17, our guaranteed delivery date was 12/2. I received a call asking if the shirts could arrive 12/3 instead. I wasn't too happy, but said it was fine as long as it was only a one day delay. On the evening of 12/1 (after 7 PM) I was informed that the shirts would not all arrive on 12/3. 3 shirts had been delayed. I asked for them to be overnighted to arrive by 12/4 at 10 AM & was told by Sara that they could accommodate that, and that the rest of my order would still arrive on 12/3. CustomInk didnt ship my order, minus the 3 shirts we had discussed, until late on 12/2. Needless to say, they didn't arrive on 12/3. Today, 12/4, I received 17 of 60+ items. The 3 shirts they promised would arrive today by 10am didn't arrive & are not slated to arrive until Tuesday, & I'll have to try to track down the remainder of our order, so that will likely be an added delay. I have spent hours on the phone with CustomInk this week, and still don't have all my items. If you have a deadline I would recommend finding another company to work with. read more

There´s a reason their Facebook page doesn´t allow you to post a review. 1. Our order was incorrect. They shorted us several shirts (all of which were larger sizes that they upcharged us for, because of course they were) for a rush order for which we paid significantly more). They were unable to reprint the shirts for us in time for our event. 2. The sales team's attitude to the issue was essentially "That sucks. Too bad! We could get them to you AFTER they've become useless though!" Not helpful. 3. A good chunk of the shirts appear to have brown spotting on them, like a printer spilled some chocolate on them (on white shirts, of course). Never using them again. I'd rather pay double and actually get what I ordered in the quality I'd expect. read more

Why is everything so expensive! My youth church football team wants to make some awesome shirts, but now they are all crying because they can't! How will you compensate for the tears of my children! I will be talking to your manager! We have a championship game!!! The GAME OF OUR LIVES!!!!! These kids have trained with blood, sweat, and tears for the past 2 days! How will I break the news to them that they can't have the shirts they have been dreaming for. Shame on you, custom inc! read more

Custom ink printed tote bags for my company as client gifts after we wrapped a big production. Being a design studio it was imperative that the design be crisp and bold. They held my hand along the way and were extremely helpful regarding my concerns. Better Half will absolutely be using them as their go-to for printing. Beats anything we have in LA by a long shot. I liked these guys! They got my order and told me that the quality of the image wasn`t good enough and that a T-shirt could be not nice because of it. I sent them another one and received my T-shirt at the same day as it was promised initially. They were very polite and the response time was very short. Definitely next time I will order T-shirts from there read more

CustomInk did a great job of making us look good! The process of designing t-shirts for a family reunion was easy, efficient, and fun. -Easy-to-use online design tools (Design Lab) made the process of selecting colors, fonts, and graphics practically painless and admittedly fun! -Efficient and friendly Customer Service: I spoke with one rep who walked me through the entire process and helped me determine the best sizes for all the children in our family (shout out to Amanda). She took the time to get through all the nitty gritty details, told me when to expect an approval email for the desired design/order, and suggested one shipping location over another to guarantee on-time delivery. -Quality materials and the finished product looked *exactly* like what I designed online. CustomInk moves FAST but I'd absolutely recommend calling sooner rather than later to ensure you get what you need on time! read more

I will never order from custom ink again. Before I placed my order, I contacted a representative to find out if the shirts are screen printed or heat transferred and I was told that if I wanted my order screen printed that they would do so. I requested screen printing and awaited my order. Once it arrived it was obvious that it was not screen printed and instead they did the heat transfer and in addition, half of the printing on the shirts was off center. I called custom ink and spoke to a representative who apologized and asked if I wanted a refund or to have the shirts redone the proper way, she also told me a specific date I would receive them by if I were to take the replacement. I told her I needed to think about it and I would call her back. I called back because I decided to give them one more chance and said I would take the replacement. This representative, that was different than the first one I spoke to, said I would receive them on the specific day that was already quoted to me by the last rep I spoke to. The day I was expecting the shirts came and went, and I received nothing. I then contacted custom ink again and the representative I spoke to said that I had been lied to and that it was impossible for them to get them printed and sent out in the timeframe I was promised. Now if I've been told by one representative, this supposed lie, then I could understand a mistake was made, but two separate people had told me the same thing. I still have not received my reprinted shirts. I am beyond mad. Do not trust this company. You will get low quality shirts if you receive them at all. read more

Can someone please explain to me how in the world these two images look anything alike? The first is my high school's licensed material: http://media.hometeamsonline.com/photos/basketball/LEANDER/LHS_Lion_Head.PNG Coastal Bend College: http://coastalbend.edu/uploadedImages/CBC/Content/Athletics/cbc%20logo%202.jpg Custom Ink would not use my school's licensed material because they claim it is an altered version of the Coastal Bend image. Coastal Bend are THE COUGARS...we are the LIONS. These images look NOTHING alike. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Will never use again. read more

Very bad customer service. I was charged $50 for something they said couldnt be made because it had last names of football players. Its been 2 weeks and the charge hasnt been refunded. I was told last week it would be 2 business days. When I reached out yesterday they said they would refund and it would be a few days. They took money and provided nothing. Order from other site if you wany good service. My order number is T-18106837 But the problem is its been 2 weeks. You guys didn't do enough until I left negative reviews. When I emailed yesterday you should have made sure my refund was expedited and offered a percent off future purchase.. But instead after screwing me over all I received was a thank you and no refund . read more

Ordered face masks and they are literally t-shirts. Thin and useless. The war slots tear easily. Wanted money. Completely disappointed....

It pains me to have to do this, but after doing business with Customink for over ten years, and referring people them constantly, their quality control and reliability has fallen completely off the cliff. I could write a really long email detailing the recent horrors and frustration I've experienced with their subpar printing, centering issues, and extremely thin ink prints, but I'll spare you all that and just say...Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do your shirt printing. You be glad you did. read more

They will not meet their own deadline and they wont give you a heads up that it will be late. They will wait for you to get a hold of them to acknowledge it and then say they were having trouble with a printer and there was no way to know which orders they sent to that printer, so they couldnt warn you...apparently they operate with the note and pad system because even a 20 year old computer system would have an EASY time tracking which orders went to which shops. Expect it to take longer than they say it will read more

Horrible service. I order 50 1-color with sleeve print t-shirts. The first delivery was a week late. They issued a $50 credit for being late (we missed the event they were for). When the shirts arrived, 2/3s had no printing at all so I had to download a mailer form and send them back. I also noted that the sleeve prints were very high on sleeve. A proof was issued for the second round of printing and I approved. When the shirts arrived, the shirt sleeve art was even higher than the first round. I had email conversations with support who lied about restrictions on print locations for sleeves. He later retracted his position as I had a first round picture of a lower location and a proof for the second round. They rejected the idea of fixing the problem. I was offered only a $3 discount per shirt (the price of sleeve printing upgrade) or send the shirts back for refund options. Since I was late to get shirts from another source for our next event, I bit the bullet and just used the shirts, accepting the $3 refund. In short, I paid full price, missed my deadline, was lied to and had huge frustration with what should have been a simple one color print job. I'll never use this service again and don't recommend anyone else to either. read more

I bought some shirts with a logo for a student group at our school. I used the school district credit card at it charged sales tax. I call customer support and they said I needed to send in a tax exempt form. I sent in the form that I have used for many other companies. The tax ended up still on invoice. I called and they said I needed have tax exempt for plus some form that stated we were a non-profit (which is on the tax exempt form.) My business manager had never heard of the form. I am probably 8 emails in with back and forth and they keep going on about how specific there accounting department is. I probably won't be doing any business in the future. This has been very irritating on such a small issue. read more

Absolutely unbelievable experience I had with this company. They need licenser approval from our school, and I didn't know if they have reached the right party. So I called all over the campus to find out who is in charge, and have our attorney office/general counsel office to send them an email for approval. They were irresponsive and the online customer service only said: 'It's not going to be enough', 'our licensing team has their own contact', ' I can't check the service@customink email, it's our sale's team'... They apparently didn't reach the right person for licensing, since the attorney office didn't get any contact from them. They would not work with you. Marre was the online service rep. And I can't believe how bad this experience was.... read more

Had ordered 11 shirts and paid an exorbitant amount for them to be rush delivered for my fraternity for the week later. They called two days after I had placed the order saying that they needed to verify with the fraternity that the use of the symbol was correct and that it might be a few days later. Why they initially waited almost two full days to do this for a rush shipment, I'm not totally sure. Then they email me the day it was originally supposed to arrive saying that they had the approval and would be sending them as soon as possible. I needed them for an event tomorrow (Sunday), however they didn't ship them until Friday and because they sent them with absolutely no built in error time, now I will not be getting my shirts for my event tomorrow. tldr; shirts didn't come until 5 days after they were promised and now I don't have them for my event read more

I had a fantastic experience with Custom Ink. There was someone who talked through sizing with me so I could order the right things. When our order was set to ship someone contacted me to let me know there was an issue with a few of the shirts. They said they would reprint them and overnight them to me so they arrived before I left for a conference I was taking them to. UPS had an issue and wasn't able to deliver them until the day after I left. Custom Ink contacted me and sent me another set of shirts and they arrived where the conference was happening in time for our event. The quality of the shirts was better than I expected and the prices were great. Everyone I worked with went WAY above and beyond to ensure I received the right product in time for my event. I will absolutely use them again in the future. read more

You would think you could trust a company called Custom Ink with a custom job. Look at my mockup on the left and the proof they sent on the right... do they look the same? Obviously, no one checked my artwork against the image I sent them. They kept asking for the font even though I converted everything to outlines (they asked for it AFTER I complained about my logo being different). Oh, and I received the proof 3 days before the expected delivery date. TOTAL FAIL! read more

As I began handing out the shirts to my coworkers at the nonprofit we all work for, they began noticing the sizing was much smaller than they anticipated. I immediately reached out to CustomInk with the sizing chart from the website (as many of my coworkers had measured themselves before ordering using that chart). Instead of acknowledging my original email where I noted the sizing chart, CustomInk proceeded to resend the chart to me, and asked us to measure the shirts. After doing that, and proving the sizing chart was incorrect based on the shirts I received, Jen S. then asked for me to waste additional time by trying to "trade" as many shirts throughout the shirt buyers to reduce the shirts they had to reprint due to their error. I am most annoyed that I wasted a day and a half sorting their error out, only to be sent incorrectly sized shirts again - this time, because the sizes I sent via email to CustomInk Customer Services were incorrectly inputted into their order system. Now, four of my coworkers are still having to go without their shirts (and we already missed two opportunities to wear these to). My impression of CustomInk has been tarnished. read more

I just got my tshirts today and so far I absolutely love them! The design turned out super great and the ordering process was SO EASY! However, the shirt material is a bit rough. It's not too bad to me though, I wouldn't really say it's uncomfortable! It's just not soft, which is okay because I opted for cheaper tshirts to save money, what do you expect when you go for the cheapest option? I'm washing my shirts now&will update if anything goes wrong with washing but so far I haven't had any issues! I'm a bit worried about other reviews saying they wear out really fast, because I plan to sell them. But, I'll definitely try to keep my review up to date! read more

Reported an error I made in their system the same day, like minutes after submission. They did not read my message therefore, the product was shipped. VERY DISSAPOINTED AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Terrible company to do business with. Customer service representative were rude and not helpful.

We ordered zip up hooded jackets for our Cruise Trip. We payed extra to get it expedited so it could come before the trip. It was for a group of 22 people, all were so looking forward to this jacket...........and guess what It never got delivered on the date is should have and everyone ended up going to the cruise without it. They gave us full refund... but money is not the issue here right? THEN!!! it arrived 3 days after the cruise left and guess what?? TERRIBLE TERRIBLE quality. The letter's were all smudged and wrinkled and also lifted like if I pulled on it it would come off. Also... on the baby shirt's it was supposed to spell the word "BABY" and ended up coming spelled "BAB" with a missing "Y".... I mean really? why even go through the proof process if they are going to mess it up anyway? We are so upset. read more

I just ordered shirts for my mother's craft business. A long time ago (in college) a group ordered t-shirts and they were great. I thought I'd give them another try. Turns out they've cheaped everything out. The t-shirts aren't the quality they once were. I thought it would be screen printed (the more rubbery type). Instead the design is a dull, faded, flat, cheap looking disaster. I'm very disappointed in this company. The icon on the front of the shirt should be up higher, but the program didn't allow me to place it any higher. The words on the back are up higher than the picture showed. The icon was smaller and the words on the back didn't use much ink either. At $30 a pop I expect a better quality product. These Gilden Ultra Cotton shirts aren't much different than Hanes undershirts. The worst part is that I ordered two batches, one in black, one in white. $255 for 8 crappy shirts. Talk about buyer's remorse! Will not be using Custom Ink again. read more

Custom Ink offers fine service and quality, however do not be influenced by the 100% on time delivery guarantee claim they make. It's a marketing HYPE offer-- because its an either/or notion. You can EITHER accept what you get whenever it arrives (they blame UPS if the shipment is late) or you can go to a lot of trouble to send your complete order back to them. After 20 months of every business in America failing to keep up because of worker shortages, Custom Ink has enough information to know they cannot guarantee on time delivery... they can take that nonsense off their website, but they don't. read more
