La Tee Da!!! This place is even better than the reviews indicate. I went in to have two shirts made. The super nice man that helped me took about 6 minutes to print them, and that included all my silly storytelling distractions. The shirts are good quality, a perfect weight and a cotton poly blend. The graphics are clean, no fuzzy edges. But here is the crazy part - When he finished the shirts (and I finished talking) he told me he could only accept cash or check. I had no cash and am probably the only person on the planet that does not have an ATM card. He told me to take the shirts with me and come back another time with cash. What?!?! So nice to run into a business that has this level of faith in humanity. Not sure when I will need more shirts but when that happens, I will go to La Tee-Shirts. I came into La Tee to print a design on several dri fit running tank tops for running in the San Diego Rock n Roll Marathon. Ali was able to take my design from a PDF I sent via email and Very Quickly (I was flying out the next day!) print the tanks. It took only a minute or two per shirt. The design with 4 different vibrant colors came out great on the white tanks! Lots of spectators were calling out to us quoting the message on the tanks throughout the marathon! Everyone in the shop was very friendly, and offered to show me the various processes for screen printing and decaling. I'll definitely be back! read more

Headed out there, got sucked into a long conversation about Martial Arts and enjoyed every second of it. The prices are on point, they know their stuff and they are straight forward, no hassle. I was a few days out from a fight and I needed a few logos added to my walkout hoodie. They got it done quickly. I expected to have to wait a few days, but it was done on the spot. I couldn't believe how quick they were. Sent an email with the files and about 5 minutes later they were putting it on my hoodie while we talked. This is a no-frills custom T-Shirt place in a shoddy strip of stores off of Lee Hwy but don't let that fool you, this place is thorough, reasonably priced, and the owners are super friendly and accommodating. I had called a couple of t-shirt places in the area looking for 5-10 custom t-shirts for a surprise birthday party. LA Tee-Shirt had the best prices around and the quickest turn around time (2 days). To my surprise, the owner didn't even make me wait 2 days. He did the t shirts right there while I waited in the store! The whole process took about 20 minutes and it saved me a second trip. Even better, when I told him I didn't have a cash or check (no credit cards here folks), he said I could just mail him my payment. Whaa? Awesome. Pros: Fast, friendly, reasonably priced. Cons: I have to deduct a star for the location (strip of derelict hit-or-miss looking shops) and the shop condition which was a little dusty and haphazard. There were shirts hanging on the walls - I guess as examples of the work they've done - and most of them were covered in dust bunnies. Hint: Some parking spots outside. If not, maybe you can park at Preston's Pharmacy. Cash and check only. read more

If you need t-shirts with screen printing or if you need to add screen printing to t-shirts/jerseys, this is a great place to go. This is your classic hole in the wall mom and pop shop. You walk in there and there is junk everywhere but Ali is a really great guy and they turn things around quickly. I've never done anything more than screen printing with standard logos but I understand you can bring in jpeg files and they'll work with you. I've only ever done several shirts at a time but I've seen people do orders in the hundreds. Don't let the looks of this place fool you. They do good work and they're great to work with. I went to LA T-Shirts on a whim this week to get last minute shirts made for the March of Dimes walk in DC tomorrow. Dan was such a pleasure to work with - he was fast and full of great ideas, fun to talk with and our t-shirts turned out better than I expected! I came here for an embroidery job, but was told they were not doing embroidery for the time being because they had a new machine and they didn't know how to use it yet... I guess I appreciated the honesty, but he pointed out the new machine and it looked like it had been sitting there for a little while and they just hadn't bothered to look at it. They must not do a lot of embroidery. He was very kind and directed me to another business that could do it for me. Great customer service. I went into the store to get 2 custom t-shirts made. I had a picture on my phone with what I was looking to get done. The sales associate, Dan, went to the computer and quickly re-created the image for me while asking my preferences and also giving me recommendations to get the best look. He also helped me pick out the shirts, and printed the images on the shirts for me right away. They only accept cash or check, so I had to go around the corner to the ATM to get cash. By the time I went to the ATM and came back (about 5 minutes), my two shirts were ready. I was very pleased with the results of my shirts, prices, and the customer service. Recently needed a t-shirt made for a party. I stopped by to see their shirt collection. I was unsure what size I might want and they said to take the shirt home, try it on and bring it back when I was ready for them to do the work. I offered to pay and they said it was fine...I could just pay after they did the shirt. That's pretty unusual nowadays!!! The next day I emailed them the picture I wanted on the shirt. I stopped by and we designed the shirt on the spot. It took about 7 minutes =) I was out the door with a Hawaiian themed shirt with an excellent resolution copy of the picture I had sent them along with some cute flowers added for a little extra flair.
