Custom Gray Concrete (CGC) came out today and did an absolutely AMAZING job pouring my new front porch and steps. He even added an additional stair so it's not as high to step up onto each one as it was before. From the very first time that I spoke with Carlos, he's been incredible to work with. The quote that he provided to me was a very good price. His entire crew were all "up-beat" and positive in very good moods while working so hard and efficient. The entire crew from Custom Gray Concrete (CGC) were extremely respectful to my property ensuring nothing was damaged. When his crew cleaned up after the job, they washed down my driveway, sprayed and raked my grass to make sure all of the concrete was gone. NEVER before in my life have I ever seen a construction crew do such a fantastic and phenomenal cleanup after they were done than CGC. The quality of workmanship was the best I've ever seen by a concrete company. Other concrete companies should pattern themselves after Custom Gray Concrete because of how wonderful they're quality of work is, they're customer service, they're respect of the customer property, and they're efficiency. My only regret is that I don't have anymore concrete work that needs to be done because CGC would be the only concrete company that I will ever consider using from this point on. I would HIGHLY recommend CGC for your concrete needs and couldn't be happier with the great job that they did for me!! read more

LOVE Carlos and the team. We did a walkway from the garage to the back, creating a patio and steps. Love how it turned out. Carlos and the team is nice and friendly. We had no issues. I have emailed him to let him know that we were home if he wanted to come early. I do like they that are flexible. They came at 7 am for 3 days. They don't dilly dally, they get straight to work and they power wash and clean up after themselves. Will definitely recommend them and would use again for our future projects. His pricing are fair and not overly charged like other contractors. Thank you again! read more

CGC - Great work. Dependable and top notch quality. Had recent concrete work in Highlands Ranch - new driveway and sidewalk. Really great results. Carlos and his crew / 5 stars! read more

Gave Custom Grey Concrete a 3 because they NEVER completed our job. Hired Custom Grey to do a sidewalk around the side of our house into our back yard. They had to dig up our landscaping to pour the concrete which they promised to replace. After the concrete was poured they demanded payment even though the job was not completed and promised to come back to replace our lanscaping and remove the forms. After numours texts and e-mails with them promising to return I had to hire someone else to replace my landscaping even though I paid them to do it. While the sidewalk is absolutely beautiful, we are frustrated with the lack of effort on their part to complete the job. read more

These guys did an amazing job. We wanted our driveway widened and to fix the steps to our front porch. Affordable and they did such an amazing job. I wish we called them sooner. It totally changed the look of our home. read more

Did everything they promised to do in timely fashion with a smile. Highly recommended.

So I have had custom grey concert out for a third time. These guys do an amazing job!!! Thank you and keep up the great work.

These guys are awesome. Found these guys on a search engine when getting quotes together for our patio. Response time was fantastic and scheduling was great. After we were given our start date, we were notified that a few days later that they could fit us in mid day the next day. We talked about adding a sidewalk along the side of our house and happened to see Juan in our hood. Flagged him down and got our quote and start date. Got us formed up a day ago, and they are now putting the finishing touches on it now. We have recommended these guys to our friends and we couldn't be happier with Custom Grey Concrete. read more

Juan and his crew did a fantastic job transforming our back patio. Their pricing was affordable and the workmanship was second to none. We will use Custom Grey Concrete for all our future concrete needs. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Just take a look at the before and after pictures and they say it all. Thanks Juan!!! read more

Unfortunately, I need to update my review. I used Custom Grey Concrete for a backyard patio. They completed the job in October 2020. The patio was lovely and I appreciated their hard work. However, by May of 2021, there were issues with the patio. Parts of the patio were starting to chip and there was a large crack at the bottom of one of the steps. I reached out to Carlos since the patio was still under warranty. He did eventually come back and took some concrete mix and "patched" the crack and chips. It looked horrible, but at this point, I didn't know what else to do. Carlos explained to me that the crack near the steps was because of how I wanted the steps designed. I'm not sure I understand that or why there couldn't be a workaround, but fair enough. However, there is no good reason for the other parts of the patio chipping. Now 18 months later and past the one-year warranty, my patio is essentially disintegrating. There is no standing water, we don't have a lot of weight on the patio, we have two small dogs and we don't have kids. I cannot understand why my patio looks like this after just 18 months. read more

Stellar. The skilled team at Custom Grey gave us a new driveway in the blink of an eye. Resourceful design thinking, skilled and fast workers and professional, courteous interactions. The team makes certain at every juncture that the customer knows what the options are, what's achievable, when payment is expected, how long the job will take. They cleared out the old concrete (stunning sight to see one's dour old driveway lifted out in giant hunks within a couple of hours) and poured the new within two days. The day after pouring is power washing and then within 5 days of pouring you're driving on your new driveway. When Juan came for the estimate, he patiently helped us create a lovely design involving regular concrete with acid-etched concrete accents. At my husband's request they left 'gutters' on either side of the driveway that are now filled with decorative stone. Their color palette is extensive and the price was stunningly reasonable! Javier and Juan are clear communicators and their aesthetic sense informed the project. As others have commented, there is upsell pressure. Book them! You will receive a fast response and timely service from this team of concrete pros. I hope to have them back sometime soon to create a new front porch and steps. read more

Custom Grey Concrete - Note that there is red dust on the etched concrete part that i later power-washed off. - Masonry/Concrete Near Me - Denver, Colorado

I needed my small porch (9 ft X 7 ft) torn out and replaced. Several companies told me that they could not offer a good price on a small job and gave me quotes that were pretty high. I also had several companies that gave me reasonable preliminary quotes, but they never came to actually see the site to give me a quote. I suspect bigger jobs came their way and they lost interest in doing my porch. Custom Grey, however, came out almost immediately and offered a very competitive price. And when I accepted the bid, they did the job only 4 days later. My porch had a nice Pergola that I wanted to keep and I was assured that they could work around that without a problem. Today they did the job and the work was first class. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others, particularly if one has a comparatively small job. read more

Juan and his crew were fantastic! I got bids and Juan's was right in the middle of the pack, but the value seems EXCELLENT. His crew arrived early, and consulted with us regarding placement of new poured steps and conduits for sprinkler lines/lighting. We felt informed every step of the way. They demoed @ 200 square feet of old concrete and were very careful not to damage existing plant beds. The walkway turned out PERFECTLY and the steps are uniformly spaced and are exactly what we wanted. It's great to find quality concrete craftsmen, we plan to use for our driveway next year. Thanks again Custom Grey Concrete - we're customers for life!!! read more

Custom Grey Concrete poured a walkway extension. They arrived on time, confirmed work, got right to work and framed it out and were ready for concrete mixer. They wheelbarrowed concrete to the area, poured, leveled, smoothed, saw cuts then brushed the surface. Cleaned up railing and areas around the front yard. Very pleased with the outcome. Would recommend! read more

We got a couple of quotes to have our driveway repaired. Theirs was a little high but when asked, they worked with us on the price. We scheduled the job around our availability and within only a week of when we had finalized the price. Carlos called the day before and said he could come then if it worked for us. We said sure. They finished the demo that day and poured and finished up the next day. Very nice job. We were very pleased. The one thing I would have done differently is had them hang some plastic in front of the garage. I ended up with concrete dust on everything in the garage. B4 & after photos attached read more

I've been waiting to review Custom Grey Concrete until I could take some pictures of their work, but with the snow and all I haven't had a chance. However, they did such a great job I really owe them this review. I'll add pictures as soon as I can. I have hired several contractors in the past. I'm also a design professional and get to deal with contractors fairly often as part of my job. All that to say, I have experience in this area - and I have absolutely no hesitation in giving Custom Grey Concrete 5 stars. It's hard to find a good contractor, but when you do, it's a treasure. I hired them to pour a patio and several walks at my house that I'm remodeling. I was going to do it myself, but I was so busy at work I decided to hire these guys. I'm very glad I did! I wanted to do a higher end look, with sawcut joints and contemporary angled layout. It had to look clean and modern - with just enough texture to give grip but without being too obvious. If you don't have clean straight lines that are square and parallel, then the whole modern look ends up falling flat on its face. That's why I almost did it myself, I wanted to make sure it was done right at a price I could afford. Luckily, I hired Custom Grey, and they were able to do all that I expected for a very reasonable price. Further, the workers were on time (actually ahead of schedule - very rare in construction!). They communicated better than most contractors and were very kind and respectful to my wife and kids. All of the workers were very respectful and nice, they were a great crew. They were all hard working and honest. The crew was not only skilled, but also fast. I was amazed at how fast they did their job and how hard they worked. After hiring them, I was really glad I was able to give them my work - they work hard and deserve all the work they get. I'm proud they're building a great company here in Denver, I wish more contractors were like them! Don't hesitate, call them up and get on their schedule. You won't be disappointed. Don't waste your time and money with contractors who over promise and under deliver, go with Custom Grey Concrete and get it done right for the best price. read more

Carlos and his team are amazing. They redid my garage concrete and built stairs on my backyard. They did a perfect job, exactly as initially discussed and with better than expected results. They're on time, communicative, and worked diligently and clean. I'd recommend them. read more

Carlos and his team did a PHENOMENAL job on a large, two-patio project at my home. The project required coordination with an electrician for some underground wiring, and between demolition, a day and a half of electrical work in the way, and a pretty huge scope overall, the project still only took four days. Several months later, we're delighted with how everything looks, how it drains, and the reasonable price. read more

We had our old patio removed due to sinking and Custom Grey poured use a new patio. I'm very careful about who I hire to do projects for me. I have a handyman background, and I'm very particular about the quality of work that others do for me. After Googling "concrete patio installation" and reading many, many reviews, I decided on Custom Grey Concrete. Carlos and his crew did an excellent job. He listened patiently to my ideas for the patio and offered some suggestions of his own. I am very happy with the results and I have received many compliments on how beautiful it is. RJ read more

I hired Custom Grey Concrete to replace an existing concrete patio that was poorly laid. They quickly identified problems and offered solutions and worked with me in making sure the new patio would really enhance my property. I'm thrilled with the work they did from start to finish. From the bidding process, scheduling, the work and clean up, they were prompt, professional and thorough as well as affordable. I highly recommend them. read more

We were looking to turn our small backyard into a large concrete patio and after contacting several companies in the area, we chose Custom Grey because they gave us the most competitive price, were responsive, and didn't try to sell us on upgrades we weren't looking for. Juan helped us as our main contact from the initial estimate to the final touches of the stamped concrete sealant. Also, our initial scope changed at least twice. We ended up extending our patio design and redo our driveway and they were very patient and accommodating. Everything was completed on time and without a hitch. I fully recommend Juan and their team. You will not find a company more honest, hardworking or affordable! read more

I do not recommend custom grey concrete. They poured a concrete patio for me but the way that they did it causes water to pool at my back door which in turn caused a major leak in my house when it rains. I brought this to their attention and they said there is nothing that can be done and didn't fix it. read more

I just used Custom Grey Concrete for the first time to install a patio and a wider backyard walkway at a rental home. I was a little nervous about using a company that I found on yelp to do such a large job ($3800 total which was close to $1000 less than the other bids I received). But the reviews were so good - especially as to quality of work - I decided to give them a shot. I'm SO GLAD I did! They did an excellent job. I could not be at the property to check on the work/progress as much as I would have liked, but it did not matter as all the workers were super professional. I really could not be happier with the results. I have another concrete job coming up at another rental property and Custom Grey Concrete is going to be the first (and maybe only) company I call. read more

Carlos, Aurelio, and Juan provide exceptional and responsive service, and actually answered their phones during the day as I had questions on the quote, the project timing, and their availability. Their work is beautiful and their pricing is reasonable, but what I especially appreciated since I know very little about concrete, is that Carlos and Aurelio were actually on-site to ensure that my driveway pour was done to their satisfaction - they are hands-on experts and that is increasingly difficult to find as our area continues to grow. As with some of the other reviewers, I will look for other opportunities to use their services, and I will definitely be recommending them to our friends and neighbors. read more

Juan and Carlos were great to work with to replace our 30 year old driveway and several entryway steps that had settled and cracked over the years. Not only was the price reasonable but the demolition crew were hard workers and it only took an afternoon to tear out the old concrete, set up the forms, and get the steel ready. The finishing crew arrived the next morning about 7:30 with the concrete truck soon after. By 11:30 we had a brand new driveway and steps. The crew was composed of talented craftsmen who did an excellent finish job. They cleaned up carefully and thoroughly and managed the entire job without damaging our xeriscape plantings in our front yard. If you want hard workers who do a quality job at a reasonable price I would recommend contacting Juan or Carlos. read more
