We have had a great experience with Gary and his crew. He explained everything well and helped us design the best layout for the space available. The product was delivered in a timely manner. He crew was very punctual, installed everything efficiently and neatly. The product is also reasonably priced. There were no surprises, the crew and the office staff are very professional. We are very happy with this project. Our garage looks awesome. read more

Fan-Freekin-Tastic! My new garage looks even better than I imagined it could. The guys were a blast to hang with while they worked. The cabinets ( I chose gunbarrel gray) are AWESOME! The fit, finish and my proud-factor is off the charts! The epoxy flooring (matches amazingly) is so nice, my neighbor said it's "nicer than most homes indoors"! haha. Yep, the garage is my pride 'n joy again. read more

Our garage has been transformed with new cabinets and great floor! Gary came out to our house, measured the garage and gave us the design and quote the same day in person. Every piece that we selected and others available were itemized in the invoice, with their measurements and price. After a few days of thinking it over we were able to come up with a new design and Gary updated the design and quote. The embedded pull handles option is nice but they were extra; worth it if can afford them. One other thing that set Custom Garages apart from the others was that Gary not only designs and installs the cabinets, but they do the floor too, so we had to deal with only one company. read more

I can't say enough great things about Custom Garages! In just two weeks Gary came out to my house, took measurements, drew up plans, and James and team installed everything to perfection. I now have my dream garage! read more

I have done my garage cabinets with Gary.. He is the best in it.. he gives very good suggestions on what's good for your space and also gives options.. After settling what we wanted he gave a nice 3D printout of how it would look like as an end product (you can see before it's done!).. Though it may just sound fancy to you, that's very cool to me to imagine what I am getting for the price I am putting in.. his prices are very reasonable too.. for good material that he puts in.. I have to do interiors and will definitely go with him. No need for think much.. Go with Gary.. and you will be fine read more

I cannot say enough good things about Custom Garages. Their expertise helped us design a garage that is both super functional and attractive, the cost was below others that I quoted, the team who did the install was great, and the end product is amazing and extremely high quality. Excellent all around, and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Gary and his crew were awesome! They had a great price and I loved that the cabinets have a solid wood back! The way they cut around your garage elements to fit the cabinets in went very smoothly and came out better than I imagined. The crew did the cabinets in 2 days and then 2 days to do the floor. Would highly recommend them!! read more

This review is based on Carrie. She dropped the ball on setting up a garage consultation. I had to reschedule an appointment from a Tuesday to a Wednesday. Carrie said she would do so and put me on the calendar. Wednesday comes around and I receive a call from Kerri saying she totally forgot to block the date and time for my appointment and booked another person for my time slot. read more

My family & I are loving our new garage floor epoxy/professional coating! Gary communicated with my husband throughout the entire process, and Kyle did the installation. My mother was home and told us that Kyle was professional and courteous. We chose to add "confetti" to the epoxy design, and Kyle even made sure to clean up all of the excess bits. After a couple of days drying-time, my husband moved a large cabinet back into the garage using a dolly. We saw a streak from the dolly and freaked out, called Gary, and he reassured us that it wouldn't be a permanent streak. After rubbing the streak the mark seemed to wear off, and Gary recommended to wait at least 2 more weeks to use light soap/water to take the streak off completely. He communicated with my husband very quickly and we really appreciated it. Definitely 5 stars for this company, especially the owner Gary and staff engineer Kyle. Thank you for the outstanding quality work! read more

I just finished a garage project with Gary & his team in February. I am very happy with the service and product. I had a great experience with this company and have already recommended them to another family member. Gary's staff was great. A big thank you to Carrie for answering all of my questions and for my installers who did excellent job. Would definitely recommend. read more

I used this company in the past and they did a great job. I referred them to friends and neighbors and they've done a good job but we just moved into a brand new house and ordered cabinets back in September. When it finally came time for them to install the cabinets in November their machine broke down and they were unable to complete the job on our agreed upon time which is been set for over a month. Because of a broken band saw. Several cabinet doors were damaged because of the broken machine. Gary did come out and made sure everything got replaced or repaired to our satisfaction. read more

We have had our new garage cabinents for a week now and we love them! they look fantastic and we have received a ton of compliments on the garage. I had 4-5 bids and Custom Garages was the least expensive but also the highest quality, most knowledgeable, most flexible, and best design. Gary and his team are great. Wonderful job and I will recommend them to all our friends and neighbors. We now have an extra room for the kids to play in/watch movies in, etc. Thank you Custom Garages! read more

Wow, these guys blew the competition away. I have a weird corner in my garage that made it mostly impossible to buy pre-built cabinets like i had in the past. At least three contractors came and gave estimates. These guys not only had the best 3d model of what it would look like but they also had the best cabinets and were within a small margin of the least expensive bid. Installation was professional and they left the place clean. The cabinets are made so precise that if you pull both sides of a double door cabinet open it makes a whooshing sound. After the fact the install looks EXACTLY as the 3d model they provided up front. read more

We had our garage flooring and cabinet work performed by Custom Garages about 8 years ago. Love the quality of work & products! After 6 years, some peeling occurred on the floors, and Custom Garages was true to their word & warranty and fixed it up. read more

We purchased a new house and knew we needed additional storage for all of our stuff. After doing lots of research we went with Custom Garages and are glad we did. Everything was handled extremely well from our free in home consultation (there were a few places who wouldn't even meet us at our house). After the measurements were done, a 3D rendering was created and printed which helped us visual our new space. Their quote was very competitive and their workmanship was exceptional. The quality of the cabinets was of high quality, sturdy, and durable. We went with the gray and couldn't be happier! read more

Custom Garages - Garage cabinets in gray - Flooring Near Me - Pacheco, California

My husband and I had been dragging our feet for years on redoing our garage because the process seemed so daunting. Custom Garages made the decision easy from start to finish. First start with Greg who came out to the house (with samples), put together a wonderful and detailed plan for us (he handed us the 3-D plan before he left the appointment!). An appointment was made with Carrie for only 2 weeks later and the crew showed up, as scheduled, to install the cabinets. Our installers, Terry and Kenney, were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure our cabinets looked great and we were 100% satisfied with the job. The difference in our garage is night and day and my only regret is that we didn't call Custom Garages years ago. If you have been searching for a company to get your garage looking amazing, your search is over... give them a call today. read more

Just had some custom cabinets and work bench installed in our garage and everything went very smoothly from the start. Changed the design from the original quote and Gary came out a second time to measure and confirm what we wanted will work. Installation day was a breeze. Terry and Kenny knew what they were doing and made recommendations I never thought of. It was quick, professional and spotless when they left. Thank you Custom Garages! read more

We had Custom Garages finish my Dads garage. Not only are the floors great looking, they are extremely durable. Excellent work from these guys. Great workmanship and quality. Highly recommend

They did an excellent job in our garage. Gary (the owner) came and gave us a decent estimate of redoing our garage. It was pretty reasonable as compared to some other leading custom garages company. It was a one-stop shop. Gary sent his crew to do the flooring, paint, and cabinets. We are very satisfied with Gary and crew. I would recommend his company in a jiffy. read more

Gary and his team are highly professional, extremely thorough, and offer high quality at an amazing price! We had all sorts of cracks and breaks in our garage slab foundation. The previous homeowners had also let their dogs pee routinely on the garage floor and we were eager for solutions to rid of the lingering odors. We called Gary for a solution. He came to our rescue. Kyle performed our epoxy floor installation. He sealed everything and addressed all the major cracks. They came the next day to put a clear coat on it - making clean up in the garage a breeze! No more urine smell either! Our garage is so fresh and so clean. We'll be calling Gary again very soon for installation of gray cabinets and overhead storage in the garage. Until then! read more

Just completed our "Custom Garage" with Gary and his team. WOW. I never thought I would be so excited about a garage. It is beautiful. We moved into our home at the end of May and I wanted the floors done before move-in. Carrie was awesome! The minute we found out our close date, she had the guys here to do the Epoxy floor. They worked into the evening and it turned out perfect! Gary came out twice to work with my husband and I on a plan for cabinets and was so pleasant. He truly cares about his work and we never once felt that it was all about the "sell". Very fair. Our cabinets were installed yesterday and they are beautiful. Gary's team was a pleasure to work with. Very professional and courteous and they did a great job. Thank you Customer Garages!!!!! read more

This business is a nightmare. Do not do business with them! I did business with them back in April 2019. The owner Gary Martin, Jr., told me that my garage cabinets would be done in one day. He knew this wasn't true yet he promised that to me. That practice is actually against the law, called "false inducement."They didn't even have the handles for all the cabinets on the day I agreed to let them do the job and Gary knew that yet he promised it would be done in one day. I relied on this promise. Even his own employees stated that he tells customers all the time the cabinets will take one day, and it never does, then they have to deal with the disgruntled customers. To this day, the cabinets they installed are defective, not off the floor as promised, knicks, shelves uneven, and screws not flush so very difficult to install shelves. I will have to hire someone else to fix them even though I have a warranty. He said he'd do all sorts of things and he never honored his word. I had to continually point out defects in the cabinets and the garage floor for them to come and fix things, and then I had to sit out there and supervise them to make sure it was done right. It was awful and me being in a wheel chair. Gary said garage floor done in 2 days, two hours each day, not even close, more like 15 hours over several days, awful!! When Tony did the floor, he ground the old floor off the slab before painting and sealing the new floor, dust went every where inside and outside the cabinets, and they never cleaned it up, then missed spots on the floor that he said he could not reach or simply neglected. So, I asked Gary for some of my money back and even though he agreed to refund me in part, he never followed through. I've filed a complaint with my credit card to try and get my money back. I will have to file a lawsuit, to get my money back and to get the value of the warranty paid to me. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Contractor's Licensing Board, and other consumer advocacy groups. It was just so awful! Please be careful! Even though he may be less expensive, you have to stay on him and his workers to make sure they do a good job, constantly follow up!!! At the very least, do not pay him until the job is done to your satisfaction. I have had plumbers, electricians, roofers, fence work, cleaners, painters, flooring and so many businesses work on my home and never have been treated like Custom Garages. read more

I really wish I could give 5 stars but just can't overlook the communication failures. If you do go with them (and I do still recommend them for their quality of product and workmanship), be prepared to call the office lady, Carrie, again and again and again. I won't even go into detail of all the times my husband called, left a message and didn't get a response because I'd probably hit a character limit on this review. However, she is very quick to call after work is completed to put the charge through on your credit card. We contacted Custom Garages to have our garage floors coated and put in some storage solutions (cabinets, slot wall, overhead storage). Gary came out and gave a sales pitch and nice explanation on their products and services, we talked through different options and he quickly drew up a plan and gave us a quote which we thought was reasonable. We scheduled installation of all the storage stuff first to give us a chance to put everything away before they came back to do the floors. The guys who installed the cabinets, slot wall, and overhead storage were friendly and did a great job. Everything was installed firmly in place and wiped down afterwards, though we still brushed off quite a bit of saw dust after they left. The cabinets themselves are very nice and way better quality than anything you would buy boxed from a hardware store; no sagging shelves here. We're also happy with the guys who did the floor and how it turned out. It seems very durable not like some others we have seen. Overall, we're happy with how things turned out. We later realized they missed one spot when applying the clear coat on the floor over the chips. It's an honest mistake and not a big deal, but it means we now get to play the one-sided phone game with Carrie. (Noooooo!) read more

Had to consider multiple "bids" on our garage project. I thought Gary and his team at CustomGarageInc were Wonderful and I'll tell you why: Owner came out and listened to what I wanted, he was on time and professional. Gary and I worked out a preliminary idea of what we wanted to do in garage He was able to print-out a 3-D image of what new cabinets would look like. (Which I later made multiple changes to) They explained to me how they make sectional pieces at their own warehouse on machines and tools they own. Therefore anything outside the ordinary and reasonable was doable. Another reason for choosing is they are not franchised so there is no franchise fee to pass along to consumer. The business is self owned and his partners all work there. Here are some other reasons I choose CustomGarage Inc: No up charge for cabinet color change I didn't have to put existing garage items outside since they do cabinets 1st then floors. I just stacked all my "stuff" in middle of garage while they installed cabinets, the next week they came back for the floors and I put all stuff off floor into cabinets. I was pretty demanding on "things" I wanted. Here is a list of things I had them make changes on and they did it all effortlessly. Multiple SlatWalls to take up space between/sides of cabinets Kicked out depth from 22.5" to 24" so I didn't need to put any bins in sideways. I'm tall so I had them make my 10 foot workbench/cabinets 8" taller and added another drawer to make it (5) drawer height They cut back of cabinets so any/all of my electrical fit into cabinets, such as my sprinkler timer, doorbell & one pipe. One other request we had was to add more white chips to my new floor. They were able to do all these requests for what i felt was a reasonable price. In closing I want to mention (2) things. They were at least 20% lower price than the other quotes. So they get the 5th Star for coming out on a water stain issue on garage floor and they immediately came and took care of it N/C. Hope this helps you with your decision. read more

I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about Gary and James! They were fantastic. I got their name off the internet with no prior recommendations. I have been incredibly impressed by how wonderful the customer service has been at Custom Garages. From the moment I found them on the internet and called to make an appt, it has been an excellent experience. Gary Martin, Jr has been exceptional to work with, as has been Carrie. Gary has taken the time to talk to me several times and answer questions even by text. He even recommended a very hard-working, reliable person named Ruben to finish out my garage attack space. Carrie has taken many phone calls from me and has always been professional and courteous. She even was able to accommodate my schedule for installation. Terry and Kenny did a fine job with the installation and answered all my questions. They were genuinely nice people with whom I enjoyed interacting. The quality of the cabinets is stellar, and I cannot say enough good things about this company. I really liked the 3D instant drawing that Gary was able to print out for me after our initial consultation. With each change I mentioned, he and Carrie were quick to re-send out a revised drawing and new estimate. Try them out, and I suspect you will have a very positive experience and be excited about your garage, too. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Custom Garages. Gary came to our house and listened to our needs, gave great suggestions, and within a few minutes gave us a 3D drawing printed from his car showing what our garage would look like with his plan. So helpful to be able to visualize it! He also gave us a quote that was at least 30% less than other companies we got quotes from. On the day of installation, we were lucky enough to have Kenny and Terry. They were so nice, funny, did amazing work quickly, and left everything clean when they were done. They also made sure to ask if we wanted any modifications before they left. Bonus was the awesome playlist they had on while putting up our dream garage (I insisted they shared it with me afterwards.) The final product exceeded my expectations. It also all comes with a lifetime guarantee. I am SO thrilled with all of it. Seriously, don't bother using other companies. This is as good as it gets, for the best price you will find. read more

Customer Service was excellent until it was time to install! Upon arriving James the driver thought he'd save himself from labor and back his big truck into our narrow driveway where it's tight for a car. Backing over my hedges and having tree branches from a tree literally inside the cab of the truck. James had to exit through the passenger side because he had no room. I was in rage when I went out and saw the truck over the hedges. James said he didn't know he ran over them Hello??? Branches in your truck and you had to exit through the passenger side. Still he continued to unload and didn't move the truck. Called the owner Gary and he said he'd call him to move the truck. I see James gets the call and still didn't move the truck until he made life easier for him. Tried to call Gary back left a message for him to call me back but instead I received a call from the receptionist that Gary called her and asked her to call me and apologize. Wanted to talk to Gary not the receptionist. Oh well, all I can say is what started out to be great customer service ended with a disappointment . read more

We were in the middle of a large re-model. This company came highly recommended. I met with their sales person at my home and explained what I was looking for: Cabinets that would hold all my storage boxes, tools with a work bench and work desk for a computer. I asked for a set up to hold our 6 bikes. They provided no guidance. Unfortunately I did not review the design closely and trusted them to deliver what I requested. What I got was cabinets that do not have the required depth for the storage boxes (I showed the boxes to them): no work bench; no work desk: a system for hanging bikes that is no longer in production (clearly they gave an out dated product from their inventory): they left the place a complete mess that I spent 5 hours cleaning: the drawers are ill fitted (they said that would resolve itself when I filled them--not true): the enamel finish on the cabinets was and continues to peel off. This was all brought to their attention with nothing done except to charge my credit card without my permission. read more

Gary and team recently completed full cabinets/drawers system in my garage - on pretty much every surface of the wall! I can't say enough about the customer service and installation work. Gary was prompt and informative during our decision phase of this project every time we met. I received 3 other quotes for the project beside Custom Garage's quote. We made the decision based on Gary, his approach, his ideas (good ideas on drawer locations, a locker system, etc) and his commitment to making sure we were taken care of. His quote was also highly competitive. Carrie was great and friendly. The team that came out to install were professional and friendly. They had to come back out the next week to add a couple of extras I ordered and fix one of the drawer slides. I'm a fan! I wouldn't hesitate to refer any of my friends and family to Custom Garages. In fact, I've even offered to be a reference if needed. I'll attach some pictures of the finished product. read more

Gary and his company are legit. I was looking for cabinets and other storage solutions for my garage. I received quotes from 3 other big companies but Gary's quote beat everyone by 30% at least. Cabinets were installed right on time without any compromise on the quality as well. I have had them for over 4 years, no issues at all. I order more slot walls to add to my initial purchase.
