He also made new custom doors and drawers for our bathroom vanities that fit perfectly and made the vanities look new. Kenny was very easy to work with and he provided good guidance and advice on the design for our new kitchen cabinets. He is a skilled cabinet maker and I was totally impressed with the construction of the cabinets and components. He used high quality materials for all the cabinets, door hinges, and soft closing drawer slides. Everything is solid, all drawers and doors operate smoothly and these cabinets look good and will last a long time. Kenny did a real professional job installing the cabinets, making sure the cabinets, doors and drawers were all properly aligned and working perfectly. I definitely recommend Kenny and Bert's Cabinets and will use him again for future cabinet work.

There are very few individuals I would personally vouch for, and I don't know Kenny (owner & operator) personally, but I would totally drop his name to anyone that is looking for help with their cabinets!!!!! 5 exclamation points y'all! Lol To invite you into my 5 STAR experience, here's a list of reasons why I believe you should hire Bert's Cabinet for the job AND/OR refer your friends and family: - Kenny was prompt to respond to the Yelp Project request that 3 other vendors completely ignored - Kenny is so down to earth! He took the time to listen to my concerns and we discussed the best route to take. The home we just purchased had cabinets that were put in all kapakahi - boxes, doors, and knobs! Kenny was confident that he could solve our kitchen problems :) - Kenny showed up ON TIME to each appt and remained considerate of us, considerate of our home, considerate of my neighbors, accurate in measurements, respectful of our budget, AND clear in setting expectations from start to finish! On install day, we got an exclusive visitation from Kenny's assistant - THE Bert himself, Kenny's dad! Lol Kenny & Bert worked great together. They accepted one another's input and got the job done fast. For our whole kitchen, with setup to protect our floors and countertops, installing the custom made drawers, refaced cabinet doors and hinges, placement and install of our provided handles in 3 different sizes, clean up, chatting thru the celebration of our brand new cabinets, and collection of payment - Kenny & Bert completed the job in less than 5 hrs! I could go on and on with the many things I appreciated about this company and their work. It's good to see small businesses with such high quality and standards for themselves, and who commit to doing solid work. With our new home purchase and renovations gone south, not to mention the many issues we faced right after purchasing this property, Kenny of Bert's Cabinet was a breath of fresh air!! Hire him!!

He easily stood out from other contractors we met with because of his ability to listen to our needs and provide detailed advisement, project planning and expectations. Kai and his team also finished the project a week ahead of schedule and kept the same team on the project which is unheard of. Out of the other 3 renovation projects I had in the past, they always finished a few weeks or a month behind schedule and the team constantly changed leading to delays and consistency issues. The end product was a quality renovation and a stunning transformation of our kitchen. We would absolutely recommend and happily do business with Kai and AOK Cabinets & Stone again based off the pleasant experience we had.

If you need a construction / renovation company, use OCG Building Supply!…read more Over the past few years we have been a repeat client of OCG Building Supply and wanted to share my positive experience. I have attached photos of each project with more details below. We are and have been extremely satisfied with the quality of the cabinets and work. The cabinets are thick pieces of wood and have lasted for over 6 plus years now. FYI, their showroom is filled with options and ideas for various types of projects. As you will read from my review l, we have used OCG Building Supply for so many various types of projects. So many options to choose from and the staff is so FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. Project 1: We did a full kitchen remodel on our home. The process with OCG was a breeze. OCG helped us bring our vision to life through a very detailed planning process. My wife and I really loved our customizable our cabinets and counters could be. OCG completed a fully kitchen demo, complete kitchen install to include counters and tile work. Each day the workers cleaned up and made sure we were updated with the next days plans. When we ended up selling this home, not only did the kitchen become to focus during the open houses, but this OCG kitchen added so much more value to our home. Project 2: This project included brand new flooring for our whole home. All we can say is WOW. Once again the quality and work exceeded our expectations. Our flooring is rugged and comfortable. We have four dogs and we have had ZERO issues with scratching, chipping, shifting, fading, etc. everyone we have people over, they always comment about our flooring. OCG even added wood under the steps and painted them white to make them even pop more. Love it! Project 3: This was one of our biggest projects with OCG. Not only did we convert a studio area but we also had OCG cut a hole in a bedroom wall and hang a barn door to add a bedroom. OCG sealed up our existing bedroom door and even built a closet system inside the bedroom. You could see in the before and after in the side-by-side photo. Everything from the flooring, wall take down, wall building, barn door, closet, and full kitchen with waterfall counter is AMAZING! OCG has helped our Ohana move into a BEAUTIFUL 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, with a full kitchen. We had options for cabinet color and decided to go with a very nice grey color. Project 4: This is our most recent project. We added some upper cabinets to our laundry room. Andre was our designer and he really focused on how we can maximize storage space while matching our existing kitchen cabinets. Jerry showed up prior to his worker Jianyi Lin to do a walk-through. Once the team arrived, Jerry was assisting his worker to install the cabinets and help clean up. Jianyi was super professional, clean, and respectful. Ask for Jianyi for your next project! Way to lead by example Jerry! Final Thoughts: Owner of OCG is Jerry. From project 1 to project 4, Jerry has driven to each project to check on his team, answer any questions I may have had, and also reassured that each project will be and was completed with quality and care. During project 1, Jerry gave me his cell phone number and told me to reach out at any time. Jerry would reach out with updates and any thoughts he may have had for the project. Honestly, we have never got that sort of help or care from any other company. OCG has gone above and beyond any and all expectations. There will be a project 5, 6, 7 in the future. We are extremely satisfied OCG Building Supply customers and will continue to be in the future. I hope you enjoyed this review and I hope it has helped you in making your decision. By choosing OCG, you can't go wrong. You get extremely great value with exceptional products. Jerry and his team are exceptional. Mahalo OCG Team for everything you have done!! -Customer for life.

They tried to accommodate my travel which was also good. What fell apart is they did not provide many things I requested and installed a new garbage disposable that messed up my AC and dishwasher. Instead of listening to me and fixing the garbage disposal, they told me I needed a new dishwasher. They do not pay attention to details. The pull out for the garbage was never done and later installed cheap thing to pull out. No spice rack as promised and the floor patch was done where it did not go with the flow of the floors. They installed tiles without communicating they were the wrong colors. They moved our telecom wires when I specially asked them not to.. lots of stuff., It felt like they didn't care about what I wanted and that I should be grateful for what they did. It was not a good experience. They stopped returning my texts and basically walked away from the job. Do not pay them in full. If you use them, you need to have someone home at all time because there is no project manager and very bad communication efforts. The review rating is because they walked away and failed to fix the things as promised.
