This was a challenging job because it involved building a cabinet to fit into another very large cabinet. Amazing work. Once again, he clearly exceeded our expectations. Leon is a wonderful, very honest man to work with. He consistently has given us more than what we paid for. Thank you, fellow yelpers, for recommending Paul Lauguico Cabinetry!…read more Paul and his team came in and totally fixed a job that another "contractor" had totally botched, which we were having a hard time finding anyone with the skills and courage to fix. Our kitchen was gutted, with half a kitchen full of partly done cabinets, half of a floor, half of a paint job and we were a month past our timeline and way over budget. Enter Paul. Paul assessed the situation, gave us an extremely reasonable price to fix the cabinets and set to work right away. Although he does custom work, we needed more pieces of cabinetry for our kitchen, so Paul opened an account at the place we had gotten our cabinets originally and got all the necessary pieces to finish it out. I was impressed with his professionalism in dealing with the cabinet company for me, the fact that his licensing and paperwork were so organized that he was able to get the account set up with quick notice, and the fact that he just made it happen. In less than a week. The work turned out amazing. Paul also worked with the tile setter we had subcontracted to solve a tile issue we were having (the lot on the tiles to finish out the floor was a sliver too big to lay next to the old tiles, yet too small to get an even cut). So there was another problem Paul solved, besides just the cabinetry. Then, he hooked us up with a granite fabricator and voila, beautiful counters. Thanks again, Paul. Oh, and if we call he will send someone to fix the crown moulding and baseboards that the other guy did not. So, after being taking advantage of by two other "contractors" who did not do their job but got paid for calling subpar subcontractors, Paul comes to do our cabinets, charges a very reasonable price, and ends up doing the work that a full on contractor is supposed to do: coordinating the job so that all goes smoothly, problem solving as things come up, working with the subs, and making things easier for us as the homeowner. Did I mention the cabinets are beautiful?!!!! I feel like we went from the Money Pit, to being on an episode of "Holmes makes it Right". I was seriously worried by the level of your work that your prices would be out of our budget, but you were beyond reasonable. Oh, the money we would have saved to have done it right and gone with you in the beginning. Everything completed on time and right on budget. Thanks, Paul! Your cabinets make us smile. I know I had sworn off contractors, but you changed my opinion. Will you be our contractor for our first real estate flip? If you are not snatched up by then, as like, a project coordinator for some huge corporate job? Your professionalism and communication skills are boundless. And the cabinets. The mess. Now flawless! Thank you Yelpers. You did us a solid on this one.

Finally, a Cabinet Company That Actually Guides You…read more We found Kitchen Cabinets Express midway through our kitchen remodel after our original cabinet company left us frustrated. They were "yes people" -- agreeable on everything but never once offered guidance or pushed back when our ideas weren't practical. We needed a real partner, and that's exactly what we found here. Ammar was exceptional. He's a true expert and adviser who wasn't afraid to be honest with us. When some of our ideas weren't the most functional, he told us so -- and immediately came back with multiple alternatives that helped us land on a design that was both sleek and practical. One of the best decisions he guided us toward was using two different cabinet colors -- light gray for the perimeter cabinets and a warm dark wood for the island. The contrast is stunning and gives the kitchen a high-end, designer feel we never would have landed on without his input. The installation crew was equally impressive -- the fit and finish on every cabinet, drawer, and detail is top notch. The result speaks for itself. If you're considering a kitchen project, start with a consultation here. We'll absolutely be back for future projects.
