I tried working with other cabinet suppliers including Home Depot, but the service was terrible. Ofer at Planet Cabinets was incredible from the first email to set up an appointment! We talked to confirm measurements, etc. and he always followed up quickly. He was present when the cabinets were delivered and quickly replaced a damaged cabinet. Thanks to him I have my new beautiful, functional kitchen!!!

Ofer was patient, knowledgeable, and never pushy -- he took the time to walk us through our options and helped us feel confident in our decisions. We went with Orange Cabinetry, a more budget-friendly brand that Ofer endorsed in terms of quality and customer service. Even though there was a delay in stock (which we were informed about in advance), the team encouraged us to stick with the sage green color we really loved instead of settling for something else just to speed things up. I'm so glad we waited -- the cabinets are beautiful, well-built, and exactly what we wanted. We've gotten a ton of compliments. Planet Cabinets also helped us source Jeffrey Alexander hardware, and their support with sizing and quantities made that process easy. Overall, we felt informed, supported, and never rushed. Highly recommend Planet Cabinets if you're looking for a company that balances affordability with honest, thoughtful service.

I have added before and after images, I'm very impressed with the final product, you can't tell they were painted, they look like they were installed like this and quality is important to us. We also try to be environmentally thoughtful so this option of keeping the cabinets and not just throwing them out really made us happy. Dealing with this company has been easy and the team is always friendly. In addition, we had some more remodeling done after the cabinets were done, and ended up with some small damage to the newly painted cabinets. We called the company back to see if we could pay for some touch ups, they came out quickly, did the touch ups and didn't charge us! If you're looking to remodel, look at this company as a possibility to keeps your cabinets and just give them a face lift instead of going all new. 110% recommendation!!

From the very beginning, they worked with our space and our design requests and made recommendations based on their experience that we knew we could trust. They were clear and upfront about the process, what we could expect, and provided different cost options based on different features. During the building phase, they reached out with design options and recommendations, and we felt like they listened and understood what we wanted. They even matched our current paint and worked with our current fixtures and outlets. Installation took a little longer than expected because they weren't satisfied until it was perfect, and we appreciated their attention to detail. In the end, they delivered on time and on budget. We are delighted with our new library and would work with the Wade Brothers again in a heartbeat.

A couple small issues during the installation did occur. Ended up realizing that during the measurement phase, some errors did happen, and we were short a couple of cabinets, but because I ordered the stock cabinets, they were able to send over the extras needed the next day. T2 was very responsive to the issues and everything was fixed quickly, did NOT cause delay to the project time. The installation guys were expeditious but like all construction/remodeling work, little nicks will happen here or there, nothing that bothered me, but if you are very meticulous, then I recommend you stay around and supervise the installation closely. If you are not too OCD, then just know that the installation goes smoothly, the installers are experienced and will be honest about any issues that come up and offer options to bypass or fix it. They were also very good in that I later noticed some cosmetic flaws that I did want fixed, they did send out someone to fix up. I would recommend this company for people looking for a competitive pricing on quality cabinets, they are a good company who are willing to respond to feedback and in my experience, they were accommodating and good to work with.

The process was super easy, we met with Adam and Tony and had a design meeting where they asked thoughtful questions about our needs and vision. Later we had a couple design pitch meetings where they presented their interpretation of the creative design of our space. They did an excellent job of listening to our needs and ideas and thoughtfully designing the creative elements of our shop. Since the Build Chicago has its own wood shop, they custom built much of our project before we even started construction in our cafe. This made installation a breeze and helped to expedite our build. Adam and Tony especially showed their experience during the onsite build portions of our project when they navigated the inevitable unknowns all projects face when doing construction in an existing space. Ill note that they were understanding and willing when we made design changes mid project when we noticed that our original design ideas needed to be modified. With all of that being said, The Build Chicago offers an excellent experience at a reasonable price given the quality materials, knowledge, and experience that they offer. I would recommend them for any project requiring custom woodworking and design, even more-so if the project is for retail or food service as they have actual experience in the food industry. Go with the Build Chicago, you wont be disappointed!

We have nothing but the highest praise to give to them for delivering such a fantastic end result. The team we worked with was fantastic. We really enjoyed the hands on process of working with Elizabeth, our designer, who helped guide us through the entire process of creating our dream primary bathroom. We had a fair bit of back and forth throughout the design process but it resulted in some highly detailed and thorough design plans, which included realistic renderings, all the selected hardware and finishes, and overall layouts. We felt like we got great advice from Elizabeth, and she really listened to what kind of look and feel we were going for. We then got with Daniel, our project manager, who helped turn the plans we received into reality. He was also a pleasure to work with and always provided very clear project updates via text and phone. The teams he assembled for electrical, plumbing, and carpentry were all very professional and did great work. Daniel was also a great problem solver who was able to come up with clever solutions to any issues that came up. In summary, we are very happy owners of two completely new bathrooms spaces designed and built by the lovely team at Chi Renovation. We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a remodel in the Chicago area.

We recently had our bathrooms remodeled, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The scope of our project included a full renovation of primary, kids and guest bathrooms, and the quality of craftsmanship really shows in every space. From the tile work to the fixtures and overall layout, everything feels high-quality and thoughtfully done. We especially appreciated the unique elements incorporated into the design, like the wall-mounted faucets, recessed vanities, heated floors, and heated bidets--features that truly elevated both the look and comfort of our bathrooms. The team was excellent to work with from start to finish. Elizabeth, our designer, and Eric, our project manager, were both fantastic and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. Edit to add to the owner's response:…read more The owner is a blatant liar. Also, near blind as he doesn't seem to recognize the difference. To correct his lie, they never offered the free replacement. I initially held the remaining payment expecting them to address the issue, but they threatened me with things like filing a lien. So I paid the remainder. I even paid extra to replace the incorrectly installed drawers, which were flat drawers. The second time, they were installed incorrectly again, differently designed shakers. The result is what the photos here show. Extremely irresponsible. BTW, you are the one who did incompetent job and you want to move on without fixing it? What a joke. --- This was our 2nd time working with them. The first time, back in 2020, went very smooth, so we decided to work with them again for our new home. This time it was night and day. It couldn't have been worse. We chose shaker everywhere, but noticed the design draft showed the top drawers flat. The designer told us it was a glitch in their new software, but they went ahead and installed the flat ones anyway. I asked to have it changed and held payment until they fixed it. Instead, they blamed me for an outcome I supposedly approved, and insisted I pay extra to make them shakers. So I did. Then the final result came out like the photo. There's an obvious discrepancy in the width of the cove area (the sloped section between the outer and inner profiles). The designer couldn't even see the problem. The owner never responded at all. I even filed a complaint with the BBB, and they never addressed it. So the BBB closed the case. It's painful to see them treat me like this when I liked them so much 5 years ago. Avoid these crooks if you can.
