I was recommended by a friend, I made a consultation appt, it was a breeze. Forms were emailed to be prior to allievate the hassle of filling out the day of my appointment. I arrived 30 minutes prior and was greeted by the front staff who were so nice and welcoming. Joelle greeted me promptly at 9am and took me back for my xray & pictures. Joelle was Beyond! Nice and welcoming she made me feel like I had been a patient there for years!.. after my xray I was brought into a consultation room, I was explained the process of What what occur once and after the doctor left the room. Within a few minutes Dr Curtis appeared, he was very thorough and really cared, he explained lots but took his time he also explained things in a way I would understand. He asked me if I had any questions and left me with joelle who would go over finances and process plans etc.. right when he left the room I knew he was the one I wanted caring for my teeth and myself. I am now scheduled to have my braces put on in a few weeks and I can't be more excited starting this journey. Every time I have an appointment I got started right away and I almost never had to wait. Throughout my orthodontic treatment, the staff treated me with great care and always have friendly smiles. I loved the wooden nickel program and spinning the wheel every year when it was my birthday. Although my braces process took a long time, I felt so happy and relieved that my teeth looked much better than they did before after I got them off. I kept in mind that I had to follow all the instructions from the orthodontist and everything went smoothly. I didn't care for Dr. Tagawa or his staff. I was led to believe that I needed braces at 13 years old, but they were wrong. When you get braces when you're older (as in adult), in most cases, you don't have to wear them as long. It's true. I know a number of older adults who wore them for a fraction of the time I had to. Contrary to what most dentists and orthodontists tell you, you can definitely WAIT to get braces. It's not an absolute necessity. They're cosmetic! Now my teeth have moved A LOT, almost to the point where I need correction again. Unless you're a model or in a profession that requires straight teeth, don't get them. Save the money. If you're a parent, don't get suckered into getting braces for your kids. You can definitely find a better orthodontist out there. read more

Staff and doctor Tagawa is super friendly and easy to talk to. Unfortunately there are some major drawbacks in the treatment he provides. They don't tell you about the side effects after you get your braces off. Teeth sensitivity, gum recession, root crowding, and more. Wish I had never done it. read more

I have had great care here. I had a really bad teeth and needed surgery along with my braces. Dr. Curtis has been very upfront and informative through all steps of this process. Now it's my sons turn and even though he's only 7, they did a great job of assessing what is going on and I'm actually quite lucky they caught his underbite.... i had no idea he had an underbite, i just thought crooked teeth. My family and I visited this practice not to long ago. We were turned onto this office threw a family friend. I have to say that we felt very uneasy throughout our visit. There was this feeling among the employee's that seemed to be "very very" uptight. It almost seemed as though none of the young ladies liked their job and were trying their hardest not to let us see it. But there was no hiding it. So of course a red flag went up. Upon leaving I phoned my friend (who referred us) to tell her about our visit and how uneasy we felt and her response was ..."Don't worry about it! You'll never see the same face twice!! The girls come and go from there like a revolving door! Needless to say, we didn't start braces with this practice. read more
