I'd advise anyone who is pregnant or plans on becoming pregnant to avoid this office. Dr Lee does not feel comfortable providing even a basic cleaning to 1st/3rd trimester pregnant women despite all major guidelines including American Dental Association and ACOG (ob gyn guidelines) ensuring it is perfectly safe and strongly recommended. It's extremely important that pregnant women get routine cleanings during their pregnancy as they are at increased risk of gum disease. Dr Lee chooses to go against all major guidelines and enforce his own policy denying pregnant women important dental care that they need. I find this to be a red flag, if he's uncomfortable doing a basic cleaning for someone who's pregnant, I wonder if he is truly confident in his skills as a dentist overall. read more

I came in needing two root canals, and my dentist not only took great care of me but also referred me to the most amazing root canal specialist. After my procedure, they got me right back in to complete my crowns, and I couldn't be happier with the results! This was by far the best root canal and dental experience I've ever had. Hesitant to write a mid review for Mr Lee, who seems friendly and decent at his job, but there are some areas for improvement here. I found this local office due to Yelp and came here for two cleanings. The front office is pretty friendly and the equipment is 90's dated but clean. Where the trouble comes in is for scheduling. It's not the easiest booking times due to work, but Dr Lee's office has frequently cancelled and rescheduled existing appointments. Sometimes it was the doctors vacation (Hawaii is calling), another time due to low visit counts that day (not my problemo but okay), Fridays were closed for appointments, etc it's really an adventure keeping weekday appointments here. Alas, I've moved on to a different dentist and hope this place improves a bit for its existing clientele. read more

Given how rigid and rushed their scheduling is, I worried that Dr. Lee wouldn't have enough time for a thorough exam or to address my concerns properly. This made me question how they handle patient care, follow-ups, and even billing. Truly an impressive practice. The office is clean especially during a pandemic, staff including the receptionist, dentist, and assistant are all very friendly and courteous. Dr. Lee is so gentle in his practice, I wouldn't even have known he was giving me a numbing shot if he didn't tell me beforehand! He explains everything in detail and performs very thorough and precise work. He does not try to upsell you on services or products that he feels is unnecessary, such as teeth whitening. He recommended crest white strips with sensodyne toothpaste- same results at a cheaper price ! I appreciate his honesty and looking out for my interests as a patient. As I have said, his work in incredibly thorough. He performs the twice yearly dental cleanings himself, takes xrays, and examines all of the images to which he explains his findings to you and how you should prioritize treatment if needed. He was the first dentist to point out an instrument left inside my tooth following a root canal performed by a previous dentist which had been there for a VERY LONG time as well as discovering an infection following a previous root canal. He referred me back to my endodontist for a consultation which ended up requiring retreatment and oral antibiotics. Finding a trustworthy and competent dentist is truly a struggle, but like I've told his receptionist, I am more and more impressed every time I visit the office. When I called for an appointment, I didn't have to wait long for an opening. Upon arrival the reception is modern, neat and clean and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. I didn't wait but a few minutes before being called back and Dr. Lee was is friendly and prompt. I appreciate that he was the one to do the cleaning and X-rays. I'm used to waiting around at most dental appointments and Dr. Lee is very thorough without making you wait around! I wish all doctors could be more "hands on" and efficient. Best dentist experience I've had. Recently went in to have my wisdom tooth extracted. I've had two others done in the past with another dentist, and it was a painful and unpleasant experience. This wasn't the case for the recent tooth. Yes there was discomfort but Dr Lee informed me of what to expect and that it could be a bit laborious since it is so far back and my mouth is a bit small. The doc did a fantastic job and extracted the tooth like a champ. Best of all, I had minimal bleeding and have not needed to take any meds as the discomfort is minimal. Another plus, the doctor doesn't book many people at once so I go in at my appointment time and I'm seen right away. As pleasant an experience as it could be. read more

I came here because I heard great things about Dr. Daniel. I didn't feel any pain at all!!! Hence he's getting a 5 star in my book. Honestly, I have a phobia of dentists and I haven't been to one in 13 years so the fact that I finally came here says a lot! I had 3 silver fillings that were WAY OVERDUE to be replaced (over +15 years) and he replaced them all quickly, painlessly, and professionally! Staff here is nice and warm! He accommodated our frequent urgent requests even on weekends, and we appreciate his availability. We didn't receive a friendly welcome. We weren't greeted with a warm smile. It was all business, and no time for any small talk whatsoever. Pretty disappointing as a new patient that no one introduced themselves to us -- not the receptionist, not the dental assistant, not the dentist himself -- bc I felt like we were not appreciated. At the end of the visit we were not "thanked", and he mentioned that my kid needs braces but did not give us an ortho referral. It's a small office, kept clean and tidy, refreshments available, and they make it pretty obvious that they are Christian, from the music station "The Fish" playing over the speakers, to the "John 3:16" typed on their business cards. Their equipment is modern. I did not experience any issues during my xrays, but minor discomfort during cleaning (if you keep reading I'll explain what I mean). One thing I did appreciate was that Dr. Lee would tell me what he was going to do next -- I'm going to measure your gums, this might be uncomfortable, etc. But what i did not like was he didn't take a break to give me a chance to rest my jaw. The care we received was pretty basic for a routine cleaning. It's hard to really rate a dentist until you've had work done like a tooth extraction or root canal, etc -- but I don't plan on coming back. ***** In response to Daniel 6.19.18: I was not late for my appointment. In fact, the entire hour was fully utilized. The exam itself was not the issue, but it was the coldness and unfriendliness of the staff (receptionist, assistant, and doctor). Dr. Daniel Lee is the best. He genuinely cares about his patients and explains what he's doing and makes you feel comfortable. He's also really gentle and tries to minimize the pain and scariness of the drills and shots. My fiance recently went in because his filling came out and was in excruciating pain. He also didn't have any dental insurance. Dr. Lee patched him up and didn't even charge him that much. Talk about a nice guy! I highly recommend him for adults and kids. read more

Super gentle, I've had to have some root canals (that's on me, not him) where he has rescued me several times, you would hardly tell that he's giving you the numbing shot and once that's done he makes the rest so easy.
