After recently moving to the area, I was on the search for a new dentist local to me. One cleaning and several fillings later, I felt the need to share my very positive experience after three appointments. Dr. Shah is an excellent dentist that is mindful of her patients' time and works quickly but carefully. She is also friendly and approachable to the point that I can ask her questions throughout the process and she is happy to explain. This can be a rare trait to find and is really appreciated. I can just tell she treats her staff well seeing how they interact and work together. Jill and Gabbie are friendly and professional hygienists that do a great job assisting Dr. Shah. Highly recommend. Had my front teeth crowned and fixed after years of being embarrassed of them. (One was capped years ago after needing a root canal and it started getting dark.) She did amazing and I will only use this office when I need any kind of work done. They worked with me, being a cash patient at that time too. So happy with my results. I took my two sons here for their first dentist appts and let me just say, from the first call scheduling the appts to the actual visits, was awesome!! Carla was so helpful on the phone, warm and welcoming! She explained all the details of their first visit together, what steps they are taking during COVID to keep people safe, what makes kids feel most comfortable, confirmed they accepted my insurance, and really took her time explaining everything! She made me actually look forward to our first visit! Once the big day arrived, the staff was excellent! Fatima and Yomeda (butchering the spelling I'm sure) were so great! They played Disney songs in the background, didn't rush my kids or make them feel bad if they didn't want to do anything and talked to them with such love, they felt like their long lost aunties! And Dr. Shah was awesome as well! From answering my questions, explaining everything in detail and not making me feel judged for how bad one of my son's teeth were, she was kind, professional, and warm! You can tell she really likes to help people! To make a long story short, my kids loved it so much they asked to go back the next day! Lol Since then I even returned for a free consultation appt myself and their service was just as great! They asked about my kids and were all a joy to talk to! Dr. Shah was awesome yet again! She showed me my x-rays and went over in detail what needed to be done for my next visit. Knowing I didn't have insurance yet, she was up front with me about the severity on whether my teeth could wait till my insurance cleared and what was of most importance to address. I felt completely comfortable and in control without any pressure from her to decide right away, which makes me even more excited to return! I've never felt so cared for at a dentist office before! After my visit, they even helped me out with insurance questions so I can have proper coverage for my first real visit/cleaning/etc. Never thought I would love a dentist office this much, but what a class act!! Oracare, and specifically Dr. Shah, offer amazing service. Finding good dentist who meet my needs is difficult. I personally am an ULTRA sensitive person and hate to be touched and especially hate the dentist. However, Dr. Shaw was amazing. I spent weeks dreading the thought of having a deep cleaning and despite my terrible anxiety she made my cleaning both easy and fast and didn't feel any pain. My one year old at the same time had his first check up and she was so kind and gentle with him he was completely comfortable and even put on his favorite show. The staff are so caring and helpful. I tend to not be the easiest person to please and my expectations are more than met at this office. A new year was upon us, and I was in a terrible predicament. I needed to find a new dentist. One in particular, that took DentiCal. Unfortunately, every single one that I found either had really low ratings across the board (thank God for Yelp), or they only had good ratings from their regular clientele, and straight 1 star reviews from their DentiCal patients. The primary complaint being that they were being charged for procedures that the dentist didn't really do! Luckily, a local Facebook page had a post by an anonymous member looking for a good and honest dentist that accepts DentiCal. Out of nowhere came Dr. Sital Mandalia, claiming that she could help us. I didn't hesitate to make an appointment there and then. Located in Placentia, on Rose and Alta Vista, in the same shopping center as Phenix Salon, Carl's Jr., and Ralph's supermarket. It is easy to miss. But, when you walk inside you are greeted by a brand new office. Everything looks sparkling new, and seems to be the best in quality. Even the check-in was done on a tablet, not the usual paper and clipboard deal. I was given a full set of X-rays, and then got my teeth cleaned. Dr. Mandalia and her staff were all very professional and courteous. I can't believe how lucky I am to not only find someone who is this good, in a brand-new office with new equipment. But, to also have her practice in the same city that I live in. Just wonderful. If you need a dentist, please look no further. They are currently accepting new patients, as they just opened. Dr. Sital and staff are top notch, you are made to feel comfortable, no pushy sales, no rushed work, and Dr. Sital always explains what work is needed most, what can wait and so forth. The office is brand new and they even have water and good coffee out in the lobby. Chrystal and Dr. Sital really try to work with your schedule to get you in and Dr. Sital has been known to come in at off hours to see patients, now that is great patient service! The staff here are great! They have a separate room for X-rays unlike my other dentist and they have a flat screen at each chair for us patients to see the pictures. They take their time explaining the xrays and also were very thorough in explaining everything. They're not rough whatsoever and the dentist was very gentle with my teeth. They explained I needed to refill my cavity filling so I had to make another appointment. At that appointment, they took pictures of my cavity and it showed on the flat screen so the patient knows what they're doing. The refilling took a little over 30 minutes and get so quick; didn't hurt at all and she made sure she was being gentle. I guarantee my other dentist would never tell me that my old cavity was decaying , plus they were so rough when it came to cleaning my teeth. I'm so happy I found this office! I love my new dentist! I went to a dentist 4 months ago and it was really a hard sell type of place that wanted to do a lot of work and pushed to do it fast, I felt uncomfortable! Last week I chipped a front tooth and sent a message to OraCare at 9:00 PM. The dentist responded within 10 minutes! She was willing to come in at 7:00 am the next morning on a day the office was closed, and I wasn't even a patient yet! Since I wasn't in pain I waited a day. Everyone in the office was great. I am not a fan of going to the dentist (who is?) but the whole vibe of the office lessened any anxiety. I even got my chipped tooth fixed without anesthetic, and first for me, without pain as promised. I am so happy to have found a dentist I trust and feel comfortable with.
