I am so frustrated after Cilderman's staff telling me what my PPO out of network insurance (I have Blue Shield California) was going to cover and what ended up actually being covered. Here are a couple: $163 Full mouth X-Rays (not covered): Only allowed once every three years. Cilderman's staff never asked my previous dentist for these records to save me this charge. $580 Deep cleaning (not covered): 1st Quadrant (50%): Insurance concluded that there was not decay sufficient to cover this. 2nd Quadrant (50%): Insurance downgraded the level of decay and only paid $16/$280 from the claim. Also, when I had initially inquired Dr. Cilderman's office they condescendingly told me I needed to call my insurance and "advocate for myself." This dentist came highly recommended by my a co-worker and I was looking forward to avoiding stress because I get anxiety with going to the dentist in the first place. Now I have to figure out what the right thing to do here is. read more

I love coming here. Who has ever heard of enjoying going to the dentist? I've been coming to this office for 6 years now. I have moved a couple times and now live 15 miles away and still make the trip to come see Rhea and Dr. Cilderman. I always remember my trips to the dentist as nerve racking but this office has changed my experience completely. Rhea is so gentle and delicate when she's working on me--so much that I forget I'm in the process of getting my teeth cleaned. Yesterday 3-2-2022 was my first visit to this dental office. From the moment I walked in, I immediately noticed a difference in customer service. There attention to the patient was something I never experienced before, to the point, I forgot I was at the dentist. All of this was even before I meet DDS Cilderman. Once I meet him that was cool, nice guy talked to me for a moment did my inspection just got a good vibe from him. He is a genuine guy super professional and truly interested in helping his patients have good teeth long term. My hygienist was amazing she didn't hurt me once and that never happens. I started going to Dr.Bruening here about a year ago and she is one of the best dentists I have ever had!! She is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and gentle. I have also seen Jennifer for a cleaning and she puts you at ease by talking to you and is super kind and gentle. My husband and I met Dr.Cilderman today for the first time. Dr. Greg Mohr retired and we found this gem. Everything the others said about him and his practice is spot on. He's a wonderful, caring, gentle dentist. He spent about 45 mins reviewing my X-rays and probing my teeth. He recommended I get a crown on a tooth that was definitely due for an upgrade. When I was done with the hygienist I went to check out and they said they had a cancellation and did I want the crown today. So I got crowned and it was a very pleasant experience. He and his staff have always taken not only a professional interest in our oral health but also a personal interest in our lives and activities. I'm so glad I found this office on yelp. Seriously, we all hate going to the dentist. But since it's something you really should do, I'm pretty happy that I can visit Dr. Cilderman's office. Everyone I interacted with was nice and made an effort to get to know me. And when I returned, I got the same reception. As far the Dr. Cilderman, he does a great job of making you feel comfortable. I had a cleaning and filling and it was a painless experience. He takes the time to understand any issues you're having and explain all your options. He also doesn't rush. He takes his time with you and it seems with his other patients as well. I put the place up to the test by recommending it to my wife who is much tougher to impress than I am. I recommend my last dentist to her and she hated him, so I knew I needed make sure the next one was solid. Dr. Cilderman and his staff easily passed the wife test. She was just as happy as I was. I hope I only have to show up twice a year, but if I have to visit more, I'm glad it will be at this office. read more
