My son has been a patient of Dr. Curtis for several months. We live in Tustin but Dr. Curtis and his staff are worth our drive. The office always runs on time every time and even treated my son on a day he wasn't scheduled which was my mistake, not theirs. It's nice to arrive to a pleasant office enjoy a cup of coffee, and be asked back while my son is treated. We appreciate the thoroughness considering this is our first experience with our 9 year old in braces. They encourage him to continue great care of his teeth and braces, provide us with all we need, so we leave educated, happy, and ready for the care to come. The text reminders have saved me and calling the office from time to time, I always get what I need and my call is answered by a pleasant voice. I was recommended to Tagawa for my second set of braces (no fun) but I have been very well taken care of. You can tell that Dr. Tagawa and Dr. Curtis really know what they are doing. They are very professional and kind, and all the staff is very friendly. I am happy with the progress of my teeth so far, and the alignment of my bite has improved. I've had a couple "emergencies" with a broken bracket and a couple other problems, but you can call and come in and they give you 3 "oops" coupons which means you don't have to pay for 3 emergencies. Also, there are a lot of ways you can earn "nickels" for prizes, which is nice. So, for braces, this is about as good as it gets. :) read more

I have been a patient of Tagawa & Curtis for almost two years, I love this place. The staff is really professional and very friendly. When I came there I had really big gaps between my teeth because of gum surgery that I had, my natural gum line between my teeth was actually cut away. They have been able to close the spaces tremendously. I always receive calls after tightenings to check and see how I'm doing, when being seen by the doctors they always take time to explain what they are doing to my smile. Five years ago I went to Dr Tagawa and Dr Curtis to help my son. Everything they recommended worked out to be exactly what he needed. His teeth are perfect. a couple of years Later when it came time to check him for braces, Dr Tagawa said he could make his smile bigger, but other than that he really didn't need them.
