I came here because other yelp reviews said they had the best lamb in town and the prices cannot be beat. The lamb is very good and seems to be of high quality. The prices are average and on par with other restaurants in the area however I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a deal. My first time here I ordered the lamb vindallo dinner special for $15. The main dish was good. I received rice with my combo but none of the other sides that were advertised (naan, rice, fried onion, dessert) On my second visit I ordered the lamb biryani combo for $15 and once again they forgot the advertised side of fried onion so I have no idea what the things I paid for taste like. The lamb biryani was extremely uninspired & mushy. The dish appears to literally be rice with a few pieces of lamb thrown in. Quite frankly the rice taste like a box mix. Other than an occasional sliver of onion there were no visible vegetables in the dish and no discernible nuts. Very odd to not see a single nut or veggie in a biryani dish. There was one another occasion between these two visits I ordered naan and other sides to go and they were very good. This was my best experience out of the three. It's unlikely I will continue to come back. Despite the quality of the lamb, it's not enough to make up for the the rest of the experience. read more

It's been about a year since I've been in here and it will be my last! 1) weeks came in for the lunch menu. Two entrees for $9.99. I put in my order and said it was the lunch special asking questions and getting answers from the cashier. The guy tried to charge me $27 and when I asked why he said because I was ordering two entrees but I said it was the lunch special. And he tried to argue me with me and I had to be very strong about it. Not ok!!! 2) the music was insanely loud 3) the food tasted like it was made with cheap ingredients and had been sitting for awhile. 4) the soda fountain was dirty and mostly out of order. The water glasses smelled gross. It took me going through several before I found one that wasn't gross. 5) the cashier seemed shady. He has horrible customer service. He alone made the experience bad. I won't be going back. Too bad because it once was a place I went t to often. Maybe ownership changed. I have no clue how this place get 4 stars. I guess I have had good Indian food and good service at other locations that just makes this place bad in every area!! read more

For someone who struggles to find Indian food that isn't overpowered with heat, this place delivers as the finest. They develop flavors properly, without resulting to the "let's just make this so spicy no one can taste anything else." I experienced that at Jai Ho's in town and many other places across the country. I usually stop in the for the very affordable lunch and dinner specials and although they always provide the same 5 meat and veggie options (they rotate them) I have no problem having chicken masala, beef keema, and chicken makhni 100 times. Their onion baji is delicious. The curries themselves all have such rich flavor and they always deliver with the proper amount of heat. The only criticism is that they can't make it super hot, as my friends have always tried to get. Plus, a newly expanded dining area makes this place even nicer and more accommodating. When this place first opened I spent weeks telling everyone how good it was. Now it's obvious it's caught on and the expanded dining room is packed every time I go. However, that didn't stop me from being in and out in under 5 minutes when I just stopped on my way home from work to grab some take-out. INCREDIBLE. Before I could even kick back and surf my phone my name was being called and the quality of the food tastes like it was made just for me. I've been meaning to write a Yelp review for a long time but that sealed the deal for me. Everything I've had on the menu has been awesome and the dinner specials are hard to beat. I'm eating the mushroom mutter right now for the first time and I'll definitely be getting it again. If you're thinking about going, just do it. We are so happy that Zuned, the owner, is once again cooking the great food that we loved all those years at his previous restaurant, Maharaja. My family became good friends to Zuned in our weekly visits to Maharaja. We loved both the food and the fact that he would prepare our food specially to meet our vegetarian and gluten/free diet along with no MSG (a couple of us are very sensitive to this). Zuned has brought Mr Singh, his cook, from the Maharaja, and my daughters are so happy to finally be getting the wonderful Saag, Dahl, Onion Baji, Bindi Masala, and Alu Gobi that we have missed so much. For us, it is hard to find restaurants that can meet our dietary requirements -- and Curry n Kebob not only does this but all the food is really delicious. read more

Food is amazing, SOMETIMES. I ordered the fish curry like I always do and when I took a bite, there were fish BONES. What if I choked and died? I'm serious. And one time the fish was just slimy, egh. I don't ever order lamb because I know people chainsaw their arms off to kill them. (I say no no to meat) Another thing there's this young indian girl with a TERRIBLE attitude, seriously I don't know what her problem is but I wanted to slap her and never come back. I absolutely loved the Curry and Kebob place a lot.I came here for lunch last week and since I'm a great fan of meat, I ordered some lamb curry and some plain white rice. This place is awesome! I live right down the road and often call in lunch orders for pick up. The owner always greets us with a smile and prompt service. The food here has the perfect blend of savory to spice. If you prefer your curry on the hotter side don't hesitate to ask, they can really crank up the heat! This is the best Indian cuisine in Boulder. Maybe not as competitive compared to larger cities, but definitely the best in town.
