By far our favorite place to eat in Boulder. Lunch is a great value and I love everything I've tried on the menu.

It was OK. Nothing special. Wasn't a good value, not sure why it is showing up under cheap eats.

Really great Indian food at a great price! This is a small mom and pop restaurant in a strip mall situated in-between a Little Caesars Pizza and a Quiznos with seating for about 20-25. Nothing fancy here....EXCEPT THE FOOD! Yes the food is excellent but the most impressive thing is their consistency. It's been equally good every time I've come and I've come here ALOT! The chicken Makni, chicken kabobs, saag paneer,mushroom mutter, onion bahji, all are excellent. One reviewer questioned if the Naan was pan fried. First, to me at least, it's quite obvious that it's NOT pan fried just be looking and tasting it. Second you can easily see the entire kitchen from the front counter and the Tandoor is right in the middle of the action. read more

Two stars only because the food is, by definition, edible. We ordered lamb vindaloo, chicken korma, and an order of naan. Both entrees taste practically like nothing. The vindaloo is very oily, the lamb flavorless, and the sauce also flavorless, not to mention not even slightly spicy as described on the menu. The korma tastes like coconut milk and nothing else. The naan is hard and burnt on the bottom (normally I like some burnt on my food, but this just makes the naan harder). We ended up adding Trader Joe's curry sauces just so we wouldn't throw out $35 of bland, oily calories. AND, the entrees are much too small for the cost. read more

I get it, it is cheap and you get a decent serving, but the food is really pedestrian for most part and actually over-priced if you consider that all their curries are made in the same gravy. There are much better Indian restaurants in town, and this is definitely not the place if you are looking to try Indian food for the first time. read more

Very tasty, got chicken masala. This place is listed in yelp as a cheap eat, but $12 for dinner special is not particularly cheap for this kind of take out/dine in IMO. However I understand this is Boulder, so the price point is a little higher. This place is solid. Fast, inexpensive, delicious, the only possible negative is parking sucks. I have driven by a few times this week and decided to give it a try. The moment I steped out of the car I knew I was on the right track, it smelled amazing. I had the chicken danask Hot. It made my eyes water a little but wasn't too spicy. Wow. Great place. Food is delicious and eat-in specials are a great deal. Decor is minimal but the place is clean and the food more than makes up for lack of atmosphere. Now we have Jai-Ho for South Indian and Curry N Kebob for North Indian! Both delicious. read more

My husband, two friends, and I went to Curry N Kebob for the first time last night. We loved it! You have two options, you can order from a handful of main dishes written on the chalkboard behind the counter and with that you get rice, an appetizer, and some fruit etc. for I think $9.95. The other option was to order from the menu which we chose to do. My husband and I are vegan and our friends are vegetarian. We had ample dishes to choose from and they made many traditionally non-vegan items vegan by using coconut milk instead of cream, DELICIOUS! We all ordered 4 separate entrees and then passed them around so we could all enjoy multiple dishes and flavors. I have yet to go to an Indian Restaurant that offers a vegan Naan, so no Naan for us but we were still super happy and satisfied with our food and the experience. read more

The food is really good here and the daily specials are great value. I'm completely stuffed for around $8 at lunchtime. I don't eat meat so I'm limited to the 3 vegetarian specials. My only complaint is they've had the same 3 dishes forever, no additional variety unless you order off the regular menu. If there was more variety in the specials, I'd eat there more often. read more

I really enjoyed lunch here the other day. We both got lunch specials- which are huge! We started with the samosas, really crispy, not too much filling, and came with cilantro and tamarind dipping chutneys. The lunch platters are filling, and we really did not need the extra appetizer, but I am glad to have eaten it. We had a yogurt chicken curry, and channa saag (chick peas and creamed spinach) The platters come with rice, an onion fritter, a large amount of curry (which is spiced to order-love that), naan- which was a little heavier than I am used to, and desert- which was just a few chunks of canned pineapple the day we were there. For 7.99 you cannot beat the value. I would love to eat here again, staff was nice. It is a fast casual restaurant. Also I love buffets, but so often I feel like I am going to die afterwards. I felt much better just eating the set lunch. The chai tea is also delicious here. read more

Mmm, extremely tasty! I went with a group for lunch and everyone loved what they got. I was impressed with the dairy-free and gluten-free options. I got #1, (supposedly the top choice by diners) with extra hot. The heat was perfect, giving me a sweat while enjoying the sumptuous flavors. Price was perfect too. Curry n Kebob is definitely a repeat. Note that the place is hopping on weekday lunches so it may be hard to get a table. read more

Curry n Kebob always tastes great. Definitely always satisfied here. The meat is prepared perfectly, the sauces taste great, all is very authentic. My only complaint would be not enough options on the menu, but I won't take stars off because I'm certain that's part of why their execution is so solid. The lunch is well priced for what you get. Best Indian food we've ever had. The fresh fish dish was just that, extremely fresh, moist, and flavored perfectly. The eggplant dish was elegant and unlike anything I've ever had. We were in town for three nights, and ate here twice. The second time after foolishly eating at another restaurant earlier that night. The atmosphere is a bit sparse, but who cares when the food is so remarkable. Good for kids. read more

C and I were in Boulder to shoot photos of UC Boulder and decided to try Indian for a change. We were happy we did! The first good sign was that the place was packed. We both had the $7.95 lunch special. I ordered the Chicken Makhni and C ordered the Mushroom Mutter, the principal ingredients of which are mushrooms and peas. Both dishes were excellent, although I have to admit that C's Mutter was even tastier than my Makhni. I had ordered mine spicy and C order hers medium. Personally, I thought that my "spicy" was not all that spicy. The decor is nice. The service ... well, it's not a traditional service. This place was awesome. Came here during a busy dinner hour and was impressed on a few levels. They run the place in a hectic, but efficient fashion. I ordered my food and got a table, and the food came out maybe 15 minutes or so after I paid. The kitchen was churning out food plates but my food was well cooked and delicious. For food quality and value 5 stars, slow but friendly service brings the overall experience down a star. Delicious Indian standards that have great flavor, freshness, and solid portions. Perfectly cooked basmati rice (grains not stuck to each other and neither mushy nor dry), delicious and rich chicken tikki masala, fresh naan, and delicate meat samosas made for a very tasty meal with leftovers. The tandoori chicken (The red color one) was really good. The biryani was average. The staff assured me that everything on the menu was halal although unfortunately they did not have the certificate or the source of the meat to verify. He reassured me and I was satisfied. read more

Masala is just all right, not too surprising. However, they have great Korma. Love it a lot. I would recommend it with mahi mahi, they are perfect combination!!! Naan is ok. In my opinion, it is a bit too thick. read more

The food was very good. I had the chicken kabob and it was good meat, with great sauce, crisp naan, and well cooked rice. The "hot" was a little less hot than I expected, but there is an "extra hot" which I will try next time. My only complaint was that the place is small so getting a table at lunch required some luck. read more

My brother and I have been looking for some good Indian food in Colorado. We ordered the chicken tiki masala, mild to medium. There was no flavor, even if we would have ordered hot, would have just been bland and hot. Lots of food for your money, but would have like a more authentic flavor. read more

Food was great. Seemed like they have a loyal local following. Decor is very simple and basic. But the food is delicious. The meat samosas are recommended I loved them. I also enjoyed my Extra Hot chicken masala. Food more than made up for the basic decor. read more

We went here because we were starving and it was late (around 9PM) and we saw a bunch of Indian people eating here (always a good sign for an ethnic restaurant), plus it looked like all Indian staff. Wasn't quite sure about the buying a whole meal thing with naan and rice, etc...included - well, GREAT! Man, GREAT amount of food - very filling, and delicious! We loved it! Will definitely be back when in Boulder again. Great little place and love the idea of how they serve the food - sssoo much better than having to get everything on a side order or appetizer. My hubby's and mine favorite place to eat Indian food when we visit Boulder. Chicken Kabob and Chicken Masala are delicious!!! The food comes in a big plate with amazing Naan, rice, onion bhaji and pineapple. Its a decent, casual place, and amazing food for the price. We have been to few Indian restaurants in Denver and at most of the places: there is too much curry and few chicken pieces; the curry color would not come off your finger if you accidentally touch it; and too much butter in Naan. This place is nothing like that and just great! Must try!! read more

The Chicken Masala special which I ordered with medium heat was yummo! For $9.95 you get chicken, rice, naan, curry fried onion strips and fruit (pineapple). The servings are huge and can certainly feed two people to the point of "I am so full," status. Service was very friendly and fast. read more

Great prices and quality for a low price (perfect for students.) If you don't want spicy Indian food this is a good choice.
