Well on Diwali what else would anyone want other than a great Indian meal and our dinner from the Curry House didn't disappoint. Living in the Tacoma area we have no options for even average Indian cuisine let alone the tasty options that we had tonight that were flavorful, well seasoned and with more than fair portions. We ordered the medium spicy which was a little too spicy for my wife but with a little mango chutney and a cool mango lassi. Each dish including the butter chicken curry and 2 vegetarian dishes (bhartha and saag aloo) was packed into full pint containers and were piping hot even after a 25 minute drive home. The naan we ordered was warm, soft and delicious. I'm sure glad I've finally found my go to Indian restaurant. read more

We ordered delivery through Uber Eats tonight for the first time. We had the vegetarian samosas, butter lamb, chicken kadahi, bhindi masala, garlic naan, a mango lassi, and an order of raita. Everything was very good, but I will say I ordered the chicken kadahi "hot" and it was barely medium. The raita is the only thing I'd advise against ordering, unless we just got a bad batch or something. It was watery and just yogurt, no cucumbers no tomatoes none of the stuff you'd expect to find in a raita. But again, the chicken and lamb and samosas and naan and okra were really really good. We'll definitely order food from here again I'm sure. Delivery time was within the expected window, which was about 45 minutes. We live all the way out on Cooper Point so I bet it's faster if you live on the east side or in Lacey. Overall very good! read more

Classic indian lunch Buffett i enjoyed after a long time in the region. It was my first time here as i was looking to grab some lunch during my visit to the Nisqually Wildlife refuge. Very good but still not as good as Curry Corner in Lacey. Love the prices and great flavor with a nice selection. My favorite is garlic naan and chicken tikka masala. We love this family-run gem of a restaurant and have ordered takeout on at least five occasions. The food is consistently delicious and the menu has many vegetarian options. We love the veggie samosas, palak paneer, baignan bartha, garlic naan, Chai, and lassis so much that we (unusually for us) have scarcely ventured beyond those staples! Best Indian Food we've found so far in the Olympus area, and are willing to drive across town to get it. Have been there three times now. After trying most of the Indian restaurants in the area, our family has deemed Curry House the best of the best. There is just something about the food here that elevates it above all of the others. The flavors are excellent, the spice is just right, and everything we order is always fresh and hot on pick up. The chicken tikka masala is my favorite, but you really can't go wrong with anything you order here. The butter chicken is outstanding and perfectly flavored- I've found it a tad too sweet at other local establishments but Curry House has it done just right. My husband is a huge fan of the curry and the garlic naan. Curry House gets bonus points for having an excellent online ordering system. We have tried several Indian restaurants in the Lacey/Olympia area, and Curry House is by far our favorite. The naan is thick and fluffy, and the sauces are creamy and flavorful. It was my second visit there but it was an absolute disappointment, I ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka and tandoori chicken during my two trips, the tandoori chicken was very dry and the other two tasted like sugar coated entrees , I have lived in California and been to a lot of indian restaurants and I can tell the difference between good and bad Indian food, I can guarantee one thing that this food was just sugar and cream, add sugar and cream to vegetables and add some Indian spices that is what defines this restaurant I even had a bad stomach as soon as I got home Not recommended at all read more

Our favorite for Indian food the in greater Olympia/Lacey area, and by a large margin. We moved back to town nearly three years ago and we were afraid and assumed we'd not find very good Indian food like we've been used to for 25 years or more. We tried 2 or 3 other spots, many *highly* recommended but all giant disappointments and we gave up hope, until we tried Curry House 2 years ago. There is none other that comes close to the level of fragrant curries, not watered down or highly sweetened or "enhanced" with eye-catching food coloring like some other spots nearby do (one highly reviewed with a similar name), but just pure deliciousness. I'll not go into detail for specific dishes, but lamb vindaloo, korma, tika masala and rogan josh, as well as aloo gobi and saag paneer (palak spinach) are our go-tos. Here each dish is present differently in its flavor and not just a rehash of a "stock" curry sauce dressed differently. The curries here are incredibly good and I'd be lying if I didn't say they may be one, if not my favorite in the state. Just wonderful. This is far, far better than the "other" spot up the road. The heat is right. The spices are fresh and fragrant (you can tell) and nothing is toned down or unnecessarily salted/sweetened for an "american" palate. Thank god. Keep doing what you're doing Curry House. We'll keep coming back. read more
