Received a recall from Honda Corp and were told to contact local dealership to get a rental car. We let Curry know what day and time we would be at the dealership, arrived on time and waited. They shuttled us to a rental car place where we waited over an hour and were told no cars available. Curry knew that there were no rental cars available and let us come anyway. We have had bad experiences with Curry in the past, but this was inexcusable! No customer service!! read more

I searched for the best prices for Honda CR-V EX model in TrueCar.com. As one of the three best dealers offering best price on Honda CR-V I got a call from Vimal Patel to visit them. I went there along with my wife and son on 04/24/16. As Vimal was not available, Carroll took care of us in showing us the vehicle and taking us to the test drive. Carroll seemed to be perfect sales man -- talkative, friendly, funny, smart and nice. We really had a good test drive and got to know more about the features of the vehicle. The price he was quoting seem to be high as $2,000 than the price quoted by one of the dealer nearby my place. His manager Calvin came to us and said there is no way anyone can give for the price I mentioned and there the discussion ended. On 4/29/16 evening Carroll called me and asked if I would purchase the car if he match the price the other dealer was offering me. I VERY CLEARLY MENTIONED HIM THAT I CAN ONLY PURCHASE THE VEHICLE IF HE OFFER FOR A LESSER PRICE THAN I HAVE CURRENTLY. I HAVE NO WORRIES IF THEY CANT GIVE IT FOR LESS. Next morning (i.e, 4/30/16) he called me twice and texted me about a deal on a demo Honda CR-V EX-L vehicle stating that "GOT THE BEST DEAL ON THE PLANET 4 WHAT YOU WANT. DONT MISS THIS!". When I called he mentioned the same thing and promised to get the car for a lower price than the current offer I have in hand. When we went there .. Carroll showed the vehicle and went to get the quote. George (believe sale manager/director) came to us and without even showing the quote ...asked us about the best price we were getting from the other dealer. When I told him the price .. without any discussion he started saying .."no one in the world can give that price. He cant do business for such price...bla bla..bla...". I only asked if they cant offer then its fine. Then why in the world call me multiple times, text me about the offer and ask me to visit and promise me to get a best deal on the planet. Then CALVIN came in again ... giving a SURCASTIC smile about the price and asking me about why I came back -- which is so weird. They asked me to come and after going there they behaved as if I am behind them for the car and talking all non sense in the world. They dont have any respect for the Customers. They did not even showed me their quote but started speaking as if I am lying and I am behind them for purchasing the vehicle. Carroll who was till then talking great about the price .. suddenly disappears and not seen again. My clear statement to the Curry Honda .. is Sell the vehicle at their desired price but dont fool customers saying that they would give for their requested price and change the word afterwards. JUST WASTE OF TIME visiting this place. NOT WORTH. THIS IS NOT THE DEALER WHO KEEPS THEIR WORDS. AND DEFINITELY NOT THE DEALER WHO RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS. read more

I had my daughters car serviced at Curry Honda yesterday. I really haven't had a good experience in the past but that all changed yesterday which prompted me to write a review. Shaq was the best! From the minute I got there until the last minute I left he was great! The repair started out as a somewhat routine major service to an extensive major repair. It needed a part they didn't have at the shop. I told Shaq I needed the car back that day. He tracked it down and retrieved it from Snellville. I just can't say enough nice things about Shaq, but I will list a few. He went above and beyond to have the car repaired that day. He followed up throughout the day and was diligent explaining things that needed to be repaired and the cost, what needed to be repaired and what could wait if we wanted. He was nice, friendly, respectful, and really good at his job. He is an asset to Curry Honda! read more

I went to Curry Honda to get an oil change which took 3 1/2 hours to do, in which I called a few days ahead of time and made an appointment. Three and a half hours later I go to check on my vehicle to see whats taking so long and thats when they told me that I had an engine oil leak. The vehicle was covered under warranty so they offered me a rental car at of free charge. The service employee Blake said that he would call me with updates on my vehicle the next day and he never did. I try to contact him to see the status of my vehicle, he never returned or answered my call, and no one was able to give me any information on my vehicle. Three days later I receive a call telling me to pick up my car. I return the rental and pick my vehicle and they advise me that everything was covered. A few days later I see a charge on my credit card account for $250. I call them back to get it fix and no one wants to answer any of my questions or talk to me. The manager was avoiding me and advised another employee to tell me that she does not have any answers for me regarding the charges. I am still dealing with this issue. Do not take your car to curry Honda for anything, they have poor customer service and are very unprofessional. And don't use their enterprise rental service even if they say they will pay for it. They will screw you!!! read more

Took our car in to deal with a recall and some other service. The job was done satisfactorily enough, though it was a long wait. The problem was the bill had some incorrect charges that I fortunately caught. The receptionist tried to make it seem like it was an inadvertent mistake, but I have my doubts. I wouldn't go back. I bought my 2013 accord from Curry Honda and had a good experience. Everything in buying the car went smoothly, and they even had the car I wanted on the lot so I was able to drive it out that day. I would recommend buying a honda from here if that is what type of car you are interested in. The only one minor issue I have had is when a light went off on my car - I brought it in and they told me it was only the air pressure light so they filled my tires with air, and didn't say anything else and the light still remained on for days. When I went back for a second time asking why it hadn't gone off, a manager there told me they should have told me that you need to manually press a button to turn it off. Would have been nice to know, but the manager gave me his card to call if I ever had any other problems. read more

I will return in the morning at 7AM. I wait in line to be checked in... Took about 15 minutes. Was promised the oil change would take about 40-60 minutes... Do not get your car repaired here. They will take you for everything you've got and do nothing. Every time I go there they find something that needs to be repaired on my car. I have bought my car new in 2010 and always take it to the dealership to be repaired regurally. We recently moved to Atlanta and ever since my car apparently constantly needs something replaced or some crazy flush. You may be thinking people in Atlanta commute a lot but I don't. I work from home, my kids ' school is about ten blocks away. However, I would drop 300-400 every six months. I felt there had to be something wrong. I reviewed my reciepts since coming to curry honda and hr recipts from back home. Theulu just didnt make since. For the same code Curry would suggest more services, I also noticed that they reported my brake pads needing to be replace way too often. I thought it was strange because I had factory brake pads the amount of use within six months was the same as having driven to Atlanta from Portland, OR. I called to speak to the manager about it ht he never returned my call. I went in during my regularly scheduled maintenance and they guy was not working that day. However, they found a nail in my tire that couldn't be patched. The entire tire needed to be replaced. The tired are one year old! I told them to try their hardest to patch the thing. My husband went into the back to speak with the guy that was doing the repair. He said the repair was easy and he could take care of it. Every couple of weeks after the tired would go flat. I thought the patch just didn't work. My husband took it to the tire place and there was no patch!!!! But I paid for the patch job and the laborat Honda!!!! You've been warned don't go there!!! read more

I had a bit of a rough start when I stopped in to look at a Honda Odyssey. My saleswoman was in the midst of helping me when a previous customer returned. She promptly went to take care of them and I was made to wait. I didn't like that so I went to speak to the General Manager, Brian. I ended up really liking Brian and left with a good rapport with him. With that good feeling....I stopped back in three days later and went straight to Brian to discuss a possible new car purchase. Brian spent over an hour with me and worked some decent numbers for me, as a Costco Auto Program member. My sale was then turned over to my original saleswoman, Brenda, who was quite lovely this time around. Easiest sale she ever got as I had everything worked out already through Brian. She wasn't working the following day when I went to pick my car up - and George took care of me. He was both friendly and helpful. Overall, my experience was quite pleasant. Where I had a negative feeling about Curry Honda when I purchased a car (elsewhere) in 2011 - this time around - I left with very positive feelings about Curry Honda. read more

Do yourself a favor and do not buy a car or get it serviced here. I bought a brand new Accord and had trouble with the electrical system almost from the very beginning. I understand that every car brand occasionally manufactures a lemon but my big issue was that I got a royal run around from Curry for 5 MONTHS before they were able to find out what the problem was and fix it. Meanwhile I had a brand new car that was barely driveable. It was only after I threatened litigation under GA Lemon Law and called to report them to American Honda that the problem was finally fixed. (To add insult to injury, they wanted me to pay for the rental car while they were working on it.) Regarding service: since they are the only Honda dealer inside the Perimeter, against my better judgment, I went here a couple of times for oil changes. First of all, appointment times mean absolutely nothing. I always had an appointment and always wound up waiting 2-2.5 hours for a simple oil change! Their waiting room is cramped, dirty and the Wi-Fi barely works. (To their credit, they do offer a drop-off service within 10 miles, but who wants to go through all that hassle for an oil change that should take 30 minutes?) Like I said, avoid this place at all costs. read more

Probably the worst car dealership I have ever worked with. I went in to buy their top end trim package (Elite)on their Honda Pilot, and was blown away at how unprofessional the sales person was. After trekking around the grounds I finally got to test drive a Pilot and thought it was the car for me. Unfortunately they did not have any Elites in Stock that day so I had to play the waiting game for a month. I was ok with that because it meant I would get the exact car I wanted and would never have been driven by anyone. We sat together and built the car on the website and when all was said and done the sales person said they had one on order already and it could be mine in 3-4 weeks if I put $1000 that day. We agreed upon a price, I gave them the $1000 and walked out happy to be a new car owner. I should mention there was no negotiations it was very much a take it or leave it situation, and did not feel like they cared if I bought the car or not, but I liked the car and overlooked that since they finally threw in some floor mats to close the deal. Anyways, 3 days later I get a call from the sales person informing me that he gave me the price for the model below what I ordered and I now owed $6000 more if I wanted the car. Considering the only car I ever talked to this person about was the Elite I have no idea how he quoted the wrong car. When I asked to speak with a manager I was put off for 3 days with a constant "he will call you in an hour..." type messages and finally I was told he won't be calling I should just get my money back and move on. It's unbelievable to me that a customer trying to buy a $50k car isn't worth a call. It tells me that Curry Honda isn't worried about getting new customers they must already have enough. I will not be going back and do not recommend anyone else goes there either, especially if you are looking for a good customer experience. read more

I paid cash for our 2008 Accord . It was one of the first Curry sold. As soon as the car was out of warranty, Curry service started finding problems. Some seals needed replacing, etc. etc. When my wife visited to have the airbags replaced. they said the rack and pinion needed to be replaced for $2700. I did nothing about it, and 4 years ago there is no problem. If I found a problem, such as having my wife drive around the block while I listened to the wheel bearings, Curry fixed it. If they found a problem, it didn't exist. They did find a tiny leak in the AC heat exchanger, but it still blows cold air, just needs to be topped up, which can be done anywhere. This is our 3rd Accord, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's find an independent mechanic. We still have our 2000 Accord, which has been serviced only at a place near where we live. And all of our 2008 service is going there too! I have been trying to post also with the Better Business Bureau, and as I've posted complaints there before, I expect to succeed. There's nothing Curry can do to repay us for this. I will never darken their door again. read more

I said the fee was unreasonable, and they gave me a horribly arrogant attitude. In the end, I found the exact model just one town over, with no transfer fee. I was having trouble with my '03 Element not starting and the engine light was on. I was not able to get it resolved at another mechanic so I bit the bullet and decided to go to a dealership. I had wonderful experiences at Gwinnett Honda, but had moved to Atlanta and Curry was closer. I made an appointment and spoke with someone on the phone about what I needed and that I would want the airbag recall taken care of and a rental would be provided. Fast forward to my appointment the next day, and they don't have me scheduled for the recall or rental. The price I was told the previous day was less than I was told at my appointment. The woman I got at check-in had the worst attitude about me correcting her and just told me no. No apology, she didn't care. She just told me to give her the keys and go to the waiting area. I really didn't have the option to just take my car somewhere else not knowing what was wrong with it. My appointment was at 7am and around 3pm I finally go a call that it was the battery, which was less than a year old, so I clearly would have some concerns but anything I said she just said, no it's a bad battery over and over without even listening to my questions even laughing at one point. I go to pick up the car and she is MIA, actually I stood around for a good 10 minutes waiting for ANYONE to help me. There were half a dozen people in the Service Manager's office which I looked into several times to make sure I was acknowledged. Finally, I just went to the cashier and paid (over $500 for a battery and O2 sensor...) without being able to discuss anything about my car. I will say she was pleasant and wanted to help me. I can't say the same for the rest of the service team. They don't want my business, obviously. I am planning on buying a new CRV this year and it most certainly won't be from Curry. read more

I brought a Honda a recently purchased in for a simple inspection, instead I waited an hour & fifteen minutes for them to bring me my car back. Advisor told me the car was in good shape. (No paper work given verifying work was done) once I started to leave I noticed oily handprints ALL OVER MY FRESHLY WASHED CAR! (I DIDNT GET A OIL CHANGE!) I remained calm & wiped it all away my self to notice the mechanic SCRATCHED MY CAR!! AND TRIED TO HIDE IT!!! I called back furious asking to speak to a manager & they said it's his day off? On a Thursday? Yeah right. Needless to say if you LOVE YOUR CAR DONT BRING IT HERE! I will be filing the proper legal documentation to get the situation handled properly since they don't have suitable staffing in managerial positions. read more

Be careful, they prey on people that don't do their research. I contacted then through true car, and negotiated the price on the phone, I was so happy that they had exact model and features I wanted. We set a appointment for the next day. As I met the online sales guy he started quoting me a higher price and said that I had to pay destination charge, I showed him the truecar price, reminded him what we agreed upon and that the true car FAQs states that the destination charge is in the truecar price. He said he will talk to the sales manager. Minutes later I went into to meet the sales manager, he had the true car estimate pulled up on the computer that was more than 1,000 more, I asked him to do the truecar price agian to point out that he added features or different zip code during the process, but he did not want to do it. Not only was the online sales guy shady but also the manager. I would of been ok if they said that they can't honor what we agreed, but they decided to be shady. My experience with Curry Honda started back years ago when I moved to Atlanta and was seeking a Honda Dealer and service location for my cars service needs. When it came time to purchase a new vehicle I had of course spent much time shopping around and due to the rapport I had built with Curry I ended up purchasing a new Civic from them. The time of this reviews writing marks just about a 10 year relationship with Curry. Over these 10 years I have had experience with essentially every aspect of Curry's service offerings from Maintainence / Repair, Body Shop and Sales experience. The relationship you keep with your customer is absolutely the best indicator of whether as a business you are "getting it right". I feel the best illustration I could provide in review form of my relationship with Curry is that not only have I continually brought my vehicle to their service department for it's needs but in the last few weeks when my girlfriend was in the market for a new vehicle, Curry again won our business. As a matter of fact our experience was so positive due in large part to the appreciation and recognition of my patronage over the years that I myself also ended up purchasing a new vehicle from them once again. read more

Fresh comments: Today I went Curry Honda for a car but got the worst experiences. There is one new car manager, named maybe Jackson, who is so impatient and rude. He kept to let me trade in my car. But I refused to do it before I got a new car's price. He told me a price, which I thought was too high and said it was way too high and stand up and want to leave. He got angry, said I had an attitude problem. He said he will not sell a car to me.....when I went out, he said I need more education!!! My parents should teach me better!!! Like an angry lion... Other comments: he spoke another language with colleagues when I was there. I think it was inappropriate. And little bit comments: no one ask what I want but just start to push me. Before leaving, I went to apologize first because I think I stood up too quick and refused the price too harsh. He did too, but apparently without real heart. I have been a loyal customer of Curry Honda for the past 3 years, every time I come in, I always have a pleasant experience. All of the service advisors I am linked with always give me efficient & friendly service. Suljo is the best and he always treats me as VIP. I get my oil changed here regularly and have had my brakes changed and a new starter. Every time I arrive, I am always greeted promptly. When my car starter went out, I was checked in and was met by the complimentary car rental sales rep in a reasonable amount of time, (so I could be on my way to work.) I was even able to keep the rental for 2 days, due to conflict in my work hours and their hours they are open. And the rental.......Dodge Challenger... lol. I only have great things to day about this location. On my last visit for an oil change, Suljo came to get me & had given me my papers..... no charge!!!! That was a great surprise. My story with Curry Honda began when after receiving numerous mailers from Honda regarding airbag safety recall work I brought my vehicle in for repair. In addition to airbags, CH repaired additional recall work including replacing a gear lock mechanism and part of the ignition switch to remedy a time-to-time difficulty in moving the gear from park into reverse. When the work was done I thanked my sales rep and went on my way. Not long thereafter I started experiencing a problem I never had before. When turning the key in the ignition switch the vehicle would sometimes not turn on. At first I thought it was the battery or the alternator but they were fine. I discovered that when moving the steering tilt up and down the dash would register a green key light associated with the switch and when it did the vehicle would turn on. I intuited from this the problem was associated with the switch so when the problem became more pervasive I brought my vehicle back to CH on 5/31/17 and explained to Jeremy, my sales rep the problem and how it came into being. Jeremy indicated that CH would inspect the vehicle and that if it determined their work contributed to the problem they'd fix it and also grant me a service credit for my troubles. I told Jeremy that was nice but that I didn't need a service credit, I simply wanted CH to fix the problem with the switch. Around lunchtime on the same day Jeremy called me back and told me that 1) CH determined the problem did not have anything to do with the switch and therefore wasn't connected to its previous augmentation of the switch and 2) that CH's technician suspected the immobilizer was the cause but that to be sure CH would need to conduct with a thorough electrical inspection at a cost of $315. I told Jeremy to hold off on the proposed electrical inspection and that I'd get back to him later that afternoon with feedback. After looking up what a vehicle's immobilizer is (works with the vehicle's anti-theft system) I called a Honda mechanic in private practice to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. He told me that if adjusting the steering wheel's tilt up and down or tapping the underside of the steering wheel causes the switch to be recognized by the vehicle's computer that it was a faulty switch and nothing else. I called Jeremy back to share the feedback and told him not to proceed with the electrical inspection and that if CH maintained it wasn't the switch that it was my intention to have it replaced elsewhere and then to determine if the problem is remedied. If it would be remedied, it would confirm CH had a hand in the malfunction through its augmentation of the switch in the recall work performed. Jeremy said he'd relay the information to his technician and get back to me. Indeed, shortly thereafter Jeremy called me again and wouldn't you know it indicated that upon further review CH's technician now maintained it was in fact the switch. So I asked Jeremy if CH would proceed to repair the switch. Jeremy indicated that CH maintained that despite the fact the switch needed replacing that their previous work had no connection to the problem and that "these parts were designed to ware out". I told Jeremy I understood that parts were designed to ware out but when and why they ware out also mattered. I also told Jeremy that CH did have a hand in the malfunction because prior to CH's augmentation to the switch I never had this problem. I asked Jeremy to propose a win-win solution that would factor for the likelihood that CH caused the problem but that wouldn't place the entire cost burden on CH and where I would assume a portion of the cost of repair. Jeremy refused and indicated the only thing CH was prepared to do was to quote me a replacement of the switch at $523. To make a long story short I had the switch replaced at Gwinnette Honda for $286. Curry Honda tried to pray on my technical ignorance and take me down a ride of unwarranted revenue. I had to pay $106 to get my car back for CH for essentially their opportunity to rip me off. I will never take my car there again. read more

Poor service overall. Stood there for 10 minutes after pulling up into the service bay with no greeting. Then Lady pulls behind me and guy greets her. It was actually quite comical as I had to scan my clothes etc. as to wonder why no service for me, lol. Service manager got me a service guy but offered no apologies. SO I am leaving this review for bad service. As a side note, the place is somewhat small and cramped for a metro area dealer. So I suppose this adds to the frustration a bit as it is a bit uncomfortable trying to get outta there, even the overall area. First Honda, car is fine, even cool...but service sucks.
