VERY POOR COMMUNICATION FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT - car is being held hostage without my consent!!? I am so mad at Curry Honda Georgia and the service advisor Cedric Little . Dropped my car off at 12:30PM for an appointment for routine maintenance items. I authorized roughly $350 of maintenance (oil change, transmission fluid flush, window wiper pad change, wheel balancing). They also needed to look at my key as it seemed to be broken. I was supposed to get my car back same day. Called at 4:40 PM to check in as they close at 5 PM and they said I would be called back. I had gone home in an Uber so I was waiting. At 5:20PM I get an email with additional estimate for $1300 worth of fixes and a text message that my car would have to stay until Monday no call. Just a text and an email. They were already closed! I couldn't talk to anybody about the estimate and I sure as heck couldn't get my car back!! Nobody left in the service department to talk to! My car is now stranded in an unauthorized sleepover at the car dealership and being held hostage without my consent. This could have been handled so much better with my consent and we could have arranged a rental car if they had only called me back! Poor communication. And I'm fairly certain they didn't even inspect my car until I called to hassle them. How else do you explain the super tardy estimate found for issues noted during the multipoint inspection? What is the point of an appointment time for routine maintenance if they cannot get it done the same day? I purchased my CR-V from Curry Honda in 2012. My sales representative was Brenda. At the time, the quote included tax in the price. When I went to pay for the car, she made me sign a disclosure stating that the price did not include tax. I almost backed out of the transaction as they were not transparent with the prices, but I was able to work things out with the financial representative. I also requested a privacy cover for the trunk. Brenda had me meet her in an H mart parking lot a few days after I purchased my car and pay her in cash for the cover. The car itself is great, and I have not had any issues with it for the past 10 years. However, I lost my title in a move and when I contacted the Georgia DMV to get a replacement title, they blocked me stating there was a lien on the car (there never was because I paid in cash). I then looked at my original receipt from Curry Honda and it stated that there was an amount to be financed which does not make any sense since the car was not financed. We then contacted Curry Honda regarding this, and Brenda said she would get back to us regarding this. We waited two weeks and never heard back from her. We called her back today and she said she responded to our email (she never did), stating that there is nothing she can do. She asked us to contact their Tax and Title (TAT) Department. We spoke with Nancy from their TAT and she looked up the number and said that State Farm has a lien on the Honda. We then spoke with Alex at State Farm and he said that State Farm does not hold liens on automobiles (they insure cars, but do not finance them). I also called American Honda Finance Corp and they stated that I do not have an account with them since the car was paid in cash and never financed. Therefore, there was never a lien on the car. I have spent the past 3 months trying to obtain a duplicate title for my car. I cannot get it because Curry Honda stated there was a lien on my car when there never was. Now I am stuck due to an error on their end, and they are unwilling to rectify the situation. Avoid Curry Honda at all costs. Save yourself money and a headache. DO NOT BUY Honda!!!! They will do what it takes to get you to buy but when your car needs service it's the worst level of customer service. 3 out of 7 service agents were extremely rude and useless. I dropped my car off in May and they told me I needed a BCM replacement and told me originally July6, and each week or so would continue to push the date out. I had to escalate to several channels between curry honda and honda corporate to get someone to make a move, and miraculously the part came the next week. But then they wanted me to pay for the "premium rush order" on top of my 3 month delay. After I pick up my car from sitting there in their lot for 3 months, I get the car back and same day, my AC compressor and condenser breaks. If the car didn't have any AC issues, and it hasn't been able to turn on in 3 months, how is it leaking as the rest of the car is off, not forcing anything to leak. I spent $900 for my 3 month delay and turn around the next day and they wanted me to pay $2000 for an issue that came up while the car was in their possession. This entire service center is complete crap. Matt Collins is a piece of shit rude useless service agent. Jeff Larson is useless in customer relations. Not a smart bulb working in the entire building. Never going back. I brought my 2015 Accord in for service today, well aware that it was due for an oil change, tire rotation, etc. I found a "coupon" online for $110 for these services combined, but I also had a hunch that my tires might need a little more than a rotation. I arrived this morning, and was greeted by Matt Collins, a service advisor. Matt is very animated, speaks with a British accent, and seemed to be chummy with everyone. He was nice enough and we made small talk, great. He pulled up my car via my VIN, and showed recommended service. I mentioned the coupon, and he explained what that would cover, and we agreed that would be a good option. He pointed out that one of my tires was "red" meaning it needed to be replaced. I know that you should at minimum replace tires in 2s, so I agreed to two new tires. I was given a quote of about $400. That was the only dollar figure that we discussed. I was notified that my car was ready two hours later. I thought, "cool, that was fast!" And a courtesy (of Curry Honda) Uber arrived at my office (they also sent me in one to get from the dealership to my office). While in the car, I get a text with the invoice for the work done at Curry. (Also included an option to pay via phone which is nice in today's world.). It said that my total was $685. I was a little shocked and confused, but I thought that that just couldn't be right. I arrive back at Curry, went to Matt's desk, and low and behold, that figure was what I was being charged. When I questioned Matt, I will say, he seemed genuinely sorry. He acknowledged that he had made a mistake and that there was some sort of confusion about the tires/tire guy. Long story longer, he ends up knocking a whopping $90 off of the total. So I went to spending $285 more than anticipated to spending $195 more than I anticipated. I'm annoyed at this point, ESPECIALLY when he muttered something about not being able to discount the tires because I was getting them "at cost," since they try to stay competitive with other tire places, "like Costco." And then, as he was scrambling trying to find ways to shave off costs, he called another employee and ASKED HIM TO APPLY THE COSTCO DISCOUNT (15%, FYI) to my balance. And then... he presents me with a sheet of paper with two questions: Did we discuss multi-point inspection? and Was your service excellent today? both with boxes for me to check yes or no, and sign my name. He bashfully asked me those two questions, and felt pressured to say yes to both - I am non-confrontational and I was over him by this point. (Come to find out later that those survey responses drive their bonuses or commission, and also that service advisors are also incentivized by what they can sell you. Nice.) I just wanted out and to get back to work. Paid, got my keys, and Matt said that one of the guys would bring it around in just a minute. 25 minutes and four employees later, they found my car. Yep, they lost it. My car. That had been with them for less than three hours. At one point, one of the guys looking for my car point to another Accord and asked me, "Are you sure that isn't your car?" Really? Yeah, I'm sure. Matt was apologetic, standing outside with me and visibly frustrated with some of the staff. He gave me a free oil change (those words written on the back of a business card). My partner just went to Curry Honda today and was told she needed "to replace the rear struts" on her Honda Fit and it would cost $1200 for that service. Thankfully she didn't proceed with the repairs because it turns out that the rear shocks only had torn dust boots/covers and the shocks were totally fine. I'm pretty livid that this dealership was trying to tell my partner that the vehicle's struts "require immediate attention" and tried to charge her $1200 for something as simple as plastic dust covers!!! read more

They recently remodeled, and all I can say is FINALLY! The wait area is huge and in the middle of the sales area, which I really like because I'm able to look at the latest car options when present. The coffee station is my favorite! The machine has options for latte's macchiato's, and hot chocolate. There also a tea section (although not as extensive. I do wish the snacks were better, but they're in a vending machine and the options aren't all that bad. There are also a bunch of fast food restaurants you can walk to while waiting, since they ask for your cell phone number and send updates if your off site. Pros - collision center was great Cons - the service center crashed my car which is why it ended up in the collision center. I scheduled a few services and dropped off my car. They texted me saying my car was ready. I went in and they had me pay ($400 worth of services), and THEN they told me they hit my car. They paid for the repair and for my rental car during the repair process (3 weeks) but it felt very sketchy/deceiving to say my car was ready and make me pay before telling me they hit the car. I brought my car in yesterday for an oil change. They found problems with the brakes (brake pads measured 3mm) and the timing belt/tensioner and wanted to charge me $1795+tax. They made it sound like it was a ticking time bomb that would blow at any time (unsafe for me and my children). I took it to get a second opinion. The brake pads were no where near 3mm (the mechanic showed it to me so an untrained eye could see that was false information). The tensioner they said was leaking, I was told, is not something a tensioner even does. This other mechanic walked me through the whole repair, how it was done and when it would truly be due. This experience with Curry Honda was absolutely unacceptable. The only reason they got one star is because they did the oil change as I requested. I will not be coming back to Curry Honda. Then here comes "Cliff" who apparently I had spoke to before but I never called this location so I was confused. Im back again curry Honda has had my car for over two weeks now . Every light in the dash board is still on. They can't figure it out and they keep trying to say oh maybe it's the person who did the injectors. First and foremost the lights were on when Honda fix the supposed oil leak and still in around the time I made the last post before anyone else touched my car. So they tried to say it was head gasket at first , then they came back and said some intake was cracked when the injectors were put in. Now they are asking is the parts are Honda certified or not . It starting to seem to like whoever worked on my car at Honda didn't know what they were doing in the first place and now they can't figure out how to turn off the lights in the dash ... this is very frustrating and definitely shouldn't be happening when this car is getting oil changed on a regular and also completing the recommended services. Oh let's not forget when they told me the intact piece for the Injector was broken or cracked I asked my service advisor to send me a photo of it being cracked ... and it's been two weeks and I still DO NOT have a picture. Someone is lying and not owning up to whatever is happening or has happened on their end . Every time I ask for it I never get an answer they just come back with something else supposedly being wrong . So sorry guys I have no picture to post. Also when you google this issue a lot of Hondas seem to be having the same issue maybe Honda needs to recall these vehicles. Because something isn't right. My car is a 2018 Honda accord . Good service at Curry Honda. I actually bought my 2004 Honda accord at Gwinnett place Honda, and after moving out of the Gwinnett area a few years back, I found myself at this closer location. What brought me in today was an issue with my starter. If you haven't been to Curry Honda in a while, you'll be met with a very fancy, clean, large and welcoming service center that is to the left of where the old service center was. You're usually met with a Honda rep once you pull into the bay doors very quickly, regardless of if you made an appointment. If you decide to wait, there is a waiting room that is also spacious, clean with a good amount of seating, and an even greater amount of wall outlets to keep you charged up. Free coffee/tea stations are around here too if you're parched. You can also take their shuttle to go grab lunch, and at least in my case, Curry has partnered with Uber, and will order an uber for you at no charge to you, to take you wherever you like, within a few miles of the dealership. Very cool! Service is usually great, and if they can't get your car completed in a timely manner, they have no problems giving you a loaner car from enterprise. Customer service is the name of their game and Honda does a good job at it. I have since bought a different model car because my 2004 Honda accord has finally become more costly to repair, but my time at Curry Honda has always been good. If you're close and have a Honda (or want a Honda), you may want to swing on by. read more

I went to Curry Honda to purchase a new car. The beginning of the experience was nice. Our sales guy wasn't pushy and made me feel comfortable which was nice and not what I was expecting. Enter our "financial advisor"... she was an older Indian woman probably late 30's early 40's. I can't remember her name but I sure as hell remember how she made me feel. She was loud, rude and condescending. She spoke over me time and time again and kept telling me how it was my own fault I couldn't get a lower APR. regardless of if that's true or not, why are you saying over and over again that it's my own fault I didn't pay off that medical expense 6 years ago. It was incredibly unprofessional honestly. I get it. I have a medical bill in collections. Can we move on? I am not confrontational... but I finally had it and was ready to just walk out. After I told her YET AGAIN, those numbers didn't work for me and our conversation was over.. she changed her tactics and called her coworker into her office to ask for a discount coupon from corporate for a lower APR. After they had the most staged performance I've ever seen she looks at me and tells me how I just cost her a vacation day and I should be thanking her. I would've come back had it not been for her. This is the worst place to go and buy a car. The financial department will try to force you to buy an extended service contract by making false stories and scaring you that the car will break down after a few years and you must buy an extended contract. I bought a brand-new car but still, I was forced to buy an extended contract which I did cancel after many arguments. In addition, they will not mail your license plate for 3 months. This is a review for Curry Honda's service department. I discovered a promotion for $44.99 oil change posted on their website and decided my 2009 Honda Accord could use a checkup and it was a good deal so I did it! My total time spent was an hour and 20 min from when I drove in the service bay to when I was told my car is ready. I have to say I had a great visit! My service advisor was this nice lady named Roman who super helpful and informative! She even offered to help scrape some residue off my windshield with a razor. That was really nice of her! Full disclosure, I'm chatty so if she's indifferent to you then, oh well! At the end my ten year old Accord recieved a clean bill of health, air in my tires filled and I'm all set for another five thousand miles! I was anticipating this visit wasn't going to be fast because of Honda's mandatory multi point inspection and a report of their findings was given to me at the end. So that's useful if you ever just need a checkup for your car. You hear stories about dealer services being more expensive than a small business mechanic but their standard oil change has its advantages. A company wide standard inspection of your car from the people that made it is a useful bonus. Think about it, is your local mechanic going to bother telling you, "your cabin air filter needs to be changed?" He prob can't be bothered to figure out where it is unless you're asking for this service. Anyway! Crooked Business with Terrible Service and Fake Positive Reviews! I took my car in for a diagnosis because I had run over a curb and it was making a loud revving noise. They quoted me around $4500 for the repair. I was in disarray. I couldn't afford such a repair and felt like my back was against a wall. Whenever I tried to contact my service rep by text they gave very short, 1-3 word answers with no details. I asked if the car was safe to drive. "no" was all that was said. Their quote was "converter/muffler/front pipe need replace. $4500." Answers like this were annoying me, especially when they charged $150 for the diagnostic. It felt like I had to squeeze answers from them. So I called to get more details. They said a bunch of my exhaust system was riddled with holes, gashes, and all bent up. It needed replacing which was a hefty price. I was so annoyed with their service at that point I didn't want to do any more business with this company. Luckily I took it to Magic Muffler, and independent shop with a reputation for honest, good work. What a difference! They were able to see me in 20 minutes, lift my car 6ft off the ground, and check under it. They saw nothing wrong with my exhaust system except some damage to the front pipe. The catalytic converter and muffler that Curry Honda claimed was irreperable were in perfect condition! They did some quick welding to my front pipe and I was out the door in another 20 minutes for a total cost of $65! I couldn't believe it! But I drove my car and it feels/sounds exactly like it was before I ran over that curb. Now the real kicker after some more snooping - Curry Honda employees show off their high ratings on dealerrater.com, but all the reviews are fake! You'll see they have hundreds of 4 and 5 star reviews but no 0-3 star reviews. Very fishy. Also the reviews all feature perfect spelling, punctuation, and are all the same length, indicated they were bought or made my bots. Bottom line is everything about this dealership is crooked. A Review I wish I read before visiting: Normally I go to the Honda dealership in Marietta for the consistent quality they provide, but against my better judgement I made the choice to go to this one due to proximity to home. I booked a 7:30 AM appointment to expedite my oil change as quickly as possible to complete the rest of the errands I planned this morning. Upon arrival, about 10-20 minutes before my appointment time, I was met by the service provider. Everything started smooth..polite staff, clean facilities, free coffee, etc. They offer a free service to customers in which they offer free uber rides within a limited vicinity of the dealership. I worked for about an hour or so on my laptop before deciding to take advantage of this to pick up a prescription from a nearby vet's office. This is where things started to become a bit of an issue. I went to the ride share desk, signed up for a ride, and was told to wait for imminent instructions as to where to meet my driver out front. After about 30ish minutes of waiting and no further instructions being provided I decided to go back to the desk and inquire as to if I misunderstood the instructions. It seemed the order wasn't completed, so I had to wait another 10-20 minutes for the ride. I made sure at this point to ask about the procedure for getting a ride back and the attendant instructed me to just call the dealership when I'm ready and they'd schedule another driver for the return trip. As advertised, the Uber drive dropped me off at the vet and I took care of my errands. I called the dealership when I was ready for pickup and was directed to a call center that informed me they set up transport and to look out for my confirmation message + driver info. After 20-30 minutes of radio silence, I decided to call back. You guessed it..call center agent once again. They apologized for the delay and reassured me that a new request would be put in for another driver but with an urgent status. At this point I saw the writing on the wall. I went ahead, once the call was complete, and text my service provider to see if there was anything they could do on their end to facilitate in this conundrum. No word. At the time of my third call, I'd been stuck at the vet for over an hour with no word from the dealership, no update, and no once responding to any calls/texts for pickup or at least an update. My third call to the call center finally seemed to fall on someone's ears, but only after I voiced my frustration with being given the run around after being essentially abandoned at the vet's office lol. I was told that it would be escalated to someone on the management team, and around this time my service provider finally messaged back (~30 minutes later) about helping get a return ride setup. When I got back to the dealership there was no apology or acknowledgment of the situation, which was a bit frustrating. I get that there are challenges associated with the logistics here, and I can deal with an hour delay; however, I can't deal with a complete lack of communication after being left high-and-dry like that. Overall, this whole ordeal took about 5hrs for what ultimately ended up only being an express oil change, rotate/balance tires, brake service, and inspection. I'm not sure if 5hrs is standard for this amount of service, but it seems a bit excessive (especially after being in the first appointment slot of the day?) In the end, the visit probably would've been fine if I hadn't used their ride service. Unfortunately, this was such a frustrating way to spend my day off work that I likely won't be back to this location. If anyone at Curry Honda is reading this, please just communicate with your customers. You don't have to be perfect, but an "I'm sorry" sure does go a long way. read more

This is my second bad experience with Curry Honda. In 1997 (before Yelp) I purchased a 97 Honda Civic that turned out to be infested with ants crawling everywhere and they did nothing to resolve it. I went to redeem a complimentary oil filter change due to some poor customer service back in February and they did not honor and end up charging against my service maintenance contract. Have place calls to SM and the SA and no response. Do yourself a favor and get your car service at another dealership. read more

After a few unanswered Emails requesting pricing on an 2022 Accord hybrid with 13,000 plus miles priced at $33,989 , another dealership with whom I had questions notified me that a 2023 identical model had a MSRP of $32,596 ( a savings of $1,393) and another at $33,663 ( a savings of $326). How Curry could charge so much is beyond belief ! I'm glad they failed to respond with this news ! read more

Gave him our constraints and preferences, and he found the best fit for her. Even the pricing negotiations were quick and painless. Was planning to go to a different dealer, but they met our price target, so didnt have to. This is a first for me. Jeff is the Customer Relations Manager and he has been an absolutely amazing help to this overtired-full-time-working-mother-of-three-with-a-injured-minivan. The level of customer service that he provides for this particular Honda location is unparralleld....And I've owned Hondas for over 25 years. When you come to Curry Honda you can rest assured the Jeff is going to take really good care of you. When I was having an issue with a repair, Jeff went out of his way to provide white glove service to get my car back up and running again.
