She was witty, and attentive, refilling our drinks, checking on us, providing suggestions. I ordered the beef tips with mashed potatoes. She offered to bring complementary bread to go with that which was really thoughtful of her. My sister ordered the bowtie pasta while her husband ordered the Cajun chicken. Steph is OK here, I wouldn't say that they stand out as being friendly or unfriendly, just pretty neutral. I think that they're eventually gonna have to expand someway, or move locations. I am so sad to find out that they are now charging a credit card processing fee. they suggest you pay with cash to avoid the fee but when you dine at an establishment like this with several people the bill is usually a few hundred dollars and who, now days, has that kind of money in their wallet!? I have worked in the restaurant industry before and realize that the processing fee is something that the card companies charge the restaurant to use their equipment BUT with a place like this and the amount of money for a piece of fish or steak that they charge, that is absurd! And now I have plans to return for my anniversary because I spotted a slice of German chocolate cake that could easily be shared with some to spare. Their version has grape tomatoes on it and I think they used shredded mozz instead of sliced fresh mozz. IYKYN. Some basil on top, which is good. I look forward to trying the other pies.
