Best Indian food in Tulsa.! Flavors were authentic with a great variety of options (meat and vegetarian). The staff was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was really cute with Indian decor. We went for dinner on the weekend with cost being about $20 per person. Great price for the quality and selection of food. Will definitely come back when I'm craving tikka masala again!

Tandoori Guys was really excellent. I went with 2 friends from work and we all loved our food. One opted for the buffet, and 2 of us ordered from the menu. I was glad we had the option to do either! Even though it's in a strip mall, the restaurant is tastefully decorated and very pleasant inside. They seemed a little understaffed for waiters, since most people were doing the buffet, but everyone was very friendly. I started off with the vegetable samosas (was too hungry to take a pic!) which were excellent. Nice, flaky thin pastry and delicious filling. The naan was fluffy and the chicken korma was perfectly flavored and cooked. I'd definitely return if I find myself in Tulsa again!

Stopped in this Indian buffet to expand my exposure to the various dishes. The restaurant is small but nicely decorated. I liked the basmati rice The korma was great. The brinji (sp?) rice was great too. I also liked the vegetable noodles. My favorite was the biriyani chicken and rice. The waitress was helpful and friendly.

A mix of everything from the buffet

Is it possible to give this place more than 5 stars??? Absolutely amazing every single time. Fresh food, clean restaurant and an abundance of flavor.

If you are looking for an Indian buffet, look no further. Tandoori Guys is IT. The food is delicious on its own and even better considering it's a buffet. The food is fresh and made of the highest quality. The chicken at Tandoori Guys is the best. No chicken breasts being used in the food, only chicken legs, thighs and quarters (I think). The result is chicken meat that is soft and moist, not dry like at other buffets. The delicious food completely justify the higher buffet price, which I don't mind at all. What I am about to tell you next has never happened to me before. For a buffet, I usually come in to try a little bit of everything on my first plate then come back for my favorites the second time. After finishing with my first plate I got up to get my second plate. When I came back, my table was cleaned up and there were 2 new customers people sitting in my table. How the heck? So fast? I thought I've lost my mind because I couldn't find my table. Apology was given and they gave me a different table, but it did detract from a perfect dining experience. Took a star off as a result. Could have been more but I love their food too much to do that.

Even during busy times, drinks and food come out quickly, and every server I've had has been attentive and on top of it. The food is seriously delicious. The honey butter croissant with the salad is INSANE. I also think their queso is better than the one at Los Cabos Mexican Grill & Cantina, but if queso isn't your thing, the spinach artichoke dip is amazing too. It was not very crowded, but it was very noisy. (Think Texas Roadhouse) The piped in music was a tad louder than we expected. The host was very nice and our server was outstanding. If our drinks were starting to get low, there was another one sliding in before you had a chance to ask. My wife ordered the Shrimp Scampi. It was an utter disappointment. The shrimp was overcooked. One was so overcooked, it should've had GoodYear stamped on the side of it. She did say the pasta was well cooked and the bread they served was "unique." I ordered the chicken fried chicken and I also was disappointed. I base my chicken fried chicken on the Big Biscuit CFC. Their brine is marvelous and the chicken is so moist. This CFC wasn't brined and was on the verge of being overcooked and dry. The skin on mashed potatoes were firm and had good flavor. The gravy was the highlight of the meal. The black pepper/chipotle combo in the gravy was excellent. I like the glazed carrots, but my wife said the ones at Cheddar's were better. The prices are definitely on the higher end of the spectrum and IMHO, not worth the extra costs. This will probably be our first and last time that we will patronize this establishment. There may be others who love this place, but it was not our cup of tea.

The hostess (she didn't say her name) had the personality of a rock. If you're a business owner, you want the host/hostess to be the gleaming face of your establishment. This hostess had no smile, no energy, and no desire to be a welcoming person. Eyore has a better personality. Now, on the flip side, Bella (our server) was a rock star. She was on top of drink refills without asking, checked on us numerous times and had an excellent personality and demeanor. Again, the food was top notch, but you really need employees that serve as a host/hostess to put on their happy face and actually act like you enjoy working there. She may have been having a bad day, but that is not an excuse.

Having reservations helped, and our table was ready upon arrival. Our server, Rebel, was the standout of the entire experience. She handled our large group single-handedly, keeping orders organized and service on point the whole time. Friendly, engaging, and attentive--she's exactly the kind of person you want taking care of your table. We started with Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and a Giant Pretzel. The wings looked good but fell short in crispness and flavor. The Pretzel was solid, but the big surprise winner was the Mozzarella Sticks--definitely worth ordering! For my meal, I had the Chicken Club with a side salad. The sandwich was excellent, thanks to the perfectly toasted wheat berry bread that really made it shine. The side salad, however, was a miss. It looked fresh but lacked flavor, and I wish restaurants would serve salads on chilled plates to keep them crisp. Overall, Main Street Tavern is a solid choice for lunch or even after work on the patio. The food has its highs and lows, but with Rebel taking care of you, the experience is well worth it.

The antithesis of my preferred milieus of grungy Mexican restaurants and back road country cafes. Yet, here I am at the counter, with my wife ordering food, that I anticipate will taste like sawdust and fermented alfalfa juice. Why? Due to her upcoming gallbladder surgery, my wife is (temporarily) on a no red meat, low fat, low sugar, low spice, low everything diet. A, this kind of a place diet. [Oh Sh*t, I think I may have just violated a HIPAA law] The store offers breads, coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, salads and soups, and of course, avocado toast. A no brainer for me; the closest thing that I could find to normal food, a roast beef sandwich. Add Kimchi Mustard. Not sure what that will taste like, but with kimchi it can't be too bad. My wife had the chicken broth bowl with rice and all the adds described on the menu. With her meal, a couple of thick slices of the house bread. Hold the butter, tallow or avocado oil. Doctor's order. The roast beef sandwich was an explosion of deliciousness. Tender juicy beef, pickles, a few green plant looking sprigs and that kimchi mustard. Try the kimchi mustard! An amazing unique sandwich. I could even go "a hidden gem of a sandwich." My wife's broth, mild, flavorful just right for her diet. Not as dangerously spicey as my sandwich. The bread here, is an event by itself. Order at the counter. Helpful, friendly service at the counter. If the weather is nice, like today, enjoy the patio.
