Food was FRESH and service was really good. Very fair pricing and plenty of food. The restaurant is small and no inside dining but clean! I'll definitely come again.

The best Indian food in the area hands down. I've tried the butter chicken & chicken tikka masala (pictured) & they're both great but I prefer the chicken tikka masala because it's all white meat vs the butter chicken I believe has a mix of dark meat. The flavors are *chefs kiss*. Garlic naan is to die for & we love the vegetable samosas as an appetizer. Takeout only I believe so we call ahead & it's usually always ready in under 25 minutes! 10/10 recommend if you're wanting to try Indian food.

Cash/Card accepted Free public parking Group Friendly Family friendly Take out Only Temporaily Lunch Specials Family owned Located in Lacey, WA. Near Exit 114. Curry Corner is a family owned, locally ran Indian Food/Cuisine. Quick stop to order food to-go. They have a variety of options in their menu. Unfortunately they still won't allow dine in at their establishment. Always friendly and welcoming whenever we order from here. Their Butter Curry Chicken and Garlic Naan are our favorite. It's a must try! Overall a solid option for Indian food and a local favorite.

We did a huge family takeout for this restaurant. We ordered tikka masala, butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, chicken vindaloo, spinach panneer, vegetable briyani, garlic naan ll, and the regular naan. I've never had garlic naan to be orange, soooo a prewarning to those who may be perplexed as well. Delicious dishes! My favorite was the butter chicken because it was not oily, and made beautifully. Everything was flavorful, and I loved how many big chunks of cheese was in the paneer. Our son loved it. This feast fed 6 adults and 1 very hungry toddler. With leftovers at the end! My son basically licked his plate clean. The only thing that was bothersome was that this restaurant did not add eating utensils into the takeaway bag, which seemed odd. Happy lunar new year

Mild means no heat. So if you like some sauce, increase beyond mild. Other than that we enjoyed the food.

We stop by on the way between Seattle and Portland. Reliably good Indian pit stop. The samosa are very good.

Amazing butter chicken. Came out fast and in huge portions! Next time I'm just going to split one order with an appetizer and we'll be set.

We ended up ordering burritos, one with saag chicken and one with chicken tikka, which comes with your choice of protein filling and up to 5 or 6 veggies. You even have your choice of tortillas - regular, wheat, spinach and sundried tomato. The lady rolled up our burritos into the most perfect cylinders ever. It's silly but I was very impressed! The burritos were HEAVY too. The tastes we had of the chicken were very good but when we went to actually eat the burritos we were underwhelmed because it was mostly rice. The concept is great but it failed to deliver enough of the sauce and flavor to enjoy. I think maybe getting the tacos or the burrito bowl would have been better, so we could have enjoyed more of the filling, but the burrito - although so perfectly wrapped - needed to be made with less rice. I saw someone else mention this in their review too, so I can assume that's how the restaurant keep the prices somewhat on the lower end and their margins workable - they bulk up on the rice. Ah well - hope they flip that ratio so people can actually enjoy the deliciousness of the curries, and not just rice.

Stopped by here for lunch after climbing Mt Rainier!…read more Food: We got the daal shahi aka daal tadka. It came with rice and side salad with onions and chilli. Let me start with saying I am from Delhi and dal tadka is a staple in our cuisine. This did not disappoint! It was such a yummy hearty meal, the daal was filled with flavor and aroma. Jeera rice was also very good and the salad on the side was just the cherry on top! They also gave us compliments kheer which was so sweet of them and very tasty. I loved that the onions and chilli were seasoned. This is a TRUE AUTHENTIC Indian restaurant, and will tell everyone I know to give this place a try. Service: phenomena. Very fast, very nice and great service overall. One of the girls even offered to give us more rice when she saw it was running low, waters were filled timely. Ambience: classic Indian place, I just love how much it brought be back to India. This is so rare to find these days. I wish this place the best and know it will take over Seattle as the best Indian place to be found.

After being seated, we noticed some inconsistencies in service. More importantly, we waited nearly an hour for our food and had to repeatedly follow up with staff for updates on our order. The lack of communication and attentiveness made the experience frustrating. When my Chicken Tandoori finally arrived, it appeared rushed and seemed undercooked in the middle, which was very concerning. Combined with the long wait and poor service, the meal did not meet expectations. Overall, the service was slow and disorganized, and the food quality was disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

A couple friends and I came here over the weekend for a late dinner, because yelp said they're open…read moreuntil 10pm. Unfortunately, they were closing at 9pm, as they just changed their hours but the internet hadn't caught up yet. We were still able to order our food to go, but our orders got mixed up and neither of our dishes were correct (wrong meat in the different sauces), and although we were warned that a level 3 spice is pretty spicy, no one in our group could detect any spice at all in either dish. Giving a star for staff friendliness, and a star for a decent amount of meat in the dishes. Taking a star for the incorrect dishes, discrepancy in posted and actual hours, and lack of spice. I know I'll try this place again, because it has to be a fluke, considering all the great reviews that lead me to try it in the first place! Fingers crossed for next time

I am no expert to Indian food as my experience has primarily been through:…read more- Intel/MSFT cafes with an Indian option (which are pretty good IMO) - Event catering by the local Indian restaurant - Cooking vegan Indian cuisine from Rainbow Plant Life on YouTube Occasionally I will go out for Indian food but ultimately I am hesitant due to my Indian colleagues always telling me "they can make it at home better". As someone who does not have access to an auntie, I cannot claim "authenticity" ... but I can claim Butter Chicken Indian Kitchen serves GOOD food, especially for Gig Harbor. LOGISTICS / AMBIANCE Located next to the Harbor Museum, there is some parking at the very front of the restaurant but I imagine it's OK to overflow into the museum parking, especially when it's closed (that's what we did). I suppose this place qualifies as a "hole in the wall" - it's easy to miss off the main road due it being in a smaller building (think like a gas station convenience store). We were able to get a seat for 3 on a rainy Friday night, but I would call ahead for larger groups of 5+ to check seating availability. Despite the small building, it felt cozy without being cramped. They have an extensive menu so I would take time to look through it while you wait for a seat, but the staff are friendly if you have any questions about unfamiliar items. Sure the lighting isn't flattering... but there's a certain "hole-in-the-wall" charm to the place, from the lanterns on the tables to the smell of curry wetting your appetite. FOOD Unfortunately we were with someone sensitive to spicy food and we wanted to share dishes... so my partner and I had to lower the spice level on our dishes. Unfortunately the 2-3 range was pretty mild for our dishes. Though tasty, I would have liked a little more heat so something to keep in mind. Since we had ordered two saucy dishes, we got two servings of basmati rice in a "handi" ( the copper pot) that kept the rice warm. The basmati rice on its own was very good and fragrant; I even found a cinnamon stick in one of the pots! It went really well with two curries. Fish Korma (lvl 3 spice): Of the two curry-esque dishes I tried, this was my favorite. The creamy sauce was super flavorful with a harmonious blend of spices, super tasty on rice or with any of the provided condiments. I seldom see fish as an option but this was a surprisingly great combination. Tandoori Chicken (lvl 2 spice): This was our favorite dish of the night - it may sound basic (you see tandoori chicken at a lot of places) but it was REALLY good. I liked how the chicken was really juicy and had a nice smokey flavor and char from how it was grilled/serves. The hot plate was a nice touch to keep it warm as well! Definitely squeeze a little bit of the lemon to give it refreshing acidity while eating it warm. I do wish we went higher on the spice rating here since it could have benefited from having more kick, but it was still delicious! Dal Makhani (lvl 3 spice): This was our least favorite, but I had some bias since I was expecting this dish to be something else I had before (need to research more about the variations). I was expecting it to be more creamy with flavor, but it felt a lot more like a tomato-forward channa masala w/ lentils. Still delicious, but not what I was expecting. This also felt a little more spicy than the Fish Korma despite having the same spice level. Garlic Naan (1 piece): Always a must have w/ Indian food! I like eating it with the curries and adding on the complimentary chutneys. The perfect side carb (after basmati rice) for the sauces! Strawberry Lassi: This was was a complimentary surprise, as I think the owner/manager came by and provided them at the end of the meal. They were delicious and a great way to end the meal with a sweet treat! Plus the yogurt helps with digestion or appease any lingering spice effects on the tongue. OVERALL Honestly this place exceeded our expectations - pricing may seem a little high but they're actually on-par with other Indian places I've been to in Seattle and the Bay Area. The portions here are generous especially with the rice - so plan on taking home leftovers! We couldn't finish everything between 3 people and we were starving when we arrived. As a former Gig Harbor residence... I remember a time when this was a little restaurant ran by a sweet Australian couple and a killer cocktail menu. That was years ago, but I'm glad another diverse restaurant option has taken up this space in a town with little variety. The service nice and I could definitely see myself checking out this place again when I'm in the area. All in all, if you're feeling adventurous and want to try something different but delicious... check out Butter Chicken Indian Kitchen!
