Italian Sub: $20 for a foot long, the meat was so plentiful it's almost overflowing, enough for two meals. The prisciutto was tender and juicy; the salami was firm and savory with a strong smokiness. Both are thinly sliced, so despite the thick stack, it was relatively easy for a bite. The provolone cheese was also generously portioned, with a robust yet not spicy flavor and a subtle nutty aroma, perfectly complementing the two meats. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar were particularly outstanding: mellow, tangy, and with a fruity aroma of grapes, key to the complex flavor profile. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh, especially the onions were refreshing and a little zingy, perfect for removing the greasiness. Unfortunately, I was worried about not being able to roll it back up properly and making it inconvenient to carry (which it actually happened), so I took it away and ate it at the office. After about 40 minutes, the bread had become somewhat dry and hard.

Arguably the best sandwich in Boston I was not let down by Monica's…read more The line was long on a Sunday but very orderly and went smoothly. The sandwiches themselves are massive and freshly made. The bread is the right amount of soft to crust. All in all I wouldn't change a thing it's definitely a must go.

I am not really a Negroni girl, but the one here is to die for!! Highly recommend. Food: Arancini (9.6/10): Absolutely delicious. no notes. Cavatelli (9.1/10): I love this dish! So flavorful. Zeppole (8.7/10): These donuts are delicious!! But I can only have a couple because they are pretty heavy

The inside is pretty small so make sure you get a reservation ahead of time. In the warmer months you can sit outside but we sat at the bar since it was too cold outside and the regular seating was all booked up. The bar seating is tight so beware if you have a big jacket or bag with you! We ordered the celery Cesar, cavatelli, and margarita pizza. The celery Cesar was interesting. It's literally thin pieces of celery tossed in Cesar dressing. It immediately reminded me of the small side you get when you order buffalo wings -- not exactly in a good way. The cavatelli was delicious and perfect to split. My friend and I split the salad, pasta and pizza which was great. The portions were just right and this meant for an inexpensive dinner for each of us which you love to hear. The margherita pizza was good but nothing that'll blow you away. The slices are tinyyyy though. My friend took home the pizza leftovers (2 slices) but we almost left them on the plate because that's how small they were. All in all it was a cute spot and I'd be interested in trying other menu items!
