Curbslide Sliderz is one of the food trucks I've seen outside of the Museum of Fine Arts. I stopped by for lunch. If you can't tell from their name, this food truck specializes in sliders. Each combo comes with fries and they have more than just burger sliders. They also have chicken options and there was a special BBQ option when I stopped by. I ended up going with one of their most popular items which is their breakfast sliders. They come with maple syrup, burger patties, a fried egg, and another ingredient or two. I don't often mix maple syrup and burgers so this was a nice fusion of flavors. It worked and the sliders were tasty, as were the fries. This food truck is a bit more expensive than I expected but I enjoyed my meal. Next time around, I need to try one of their chicken options! read more

The meat was seasoned well and the buns were soft and we really loved the creole aioli. Nothing was lacking in flavor. I personally would prefer regular bacon over the maple bacon but it didn't diminish the experience. Had dinner from this food truck last week at our neighborhood brewery. Leo was very attentive, making great recommendations. We had three different types of sliders, and mine were the showstoppers! That maple bacon!!!!! I didn't realize they had sweet potato fries and Leo fired up an order as a courtesy. Those sweet potato fries are DELICIOUS!!!! Just ordered these $12 brisket fries and unfortunately discovered what I was served only after I had left. On top of barely done fries was the kind of frozen shredded brisket you can get at Sam's or Costco. Devoid of any real barbecue flavor, the fries were barely seasoned as well. Really nice truck. They are friendly and considering the quality of the food are actually pretty quick at getting it out. In my experience sliders vary in size a lot but I was pleasantly surprised that these ones are pretty big. I only ordered one to try it and it was enough for me. I ordered the Buffalo chicken. The chicken itself had a very rugged organic shape and some nice crispy edges. The sauce was spicy but not overly so. The bread was toasted and still quite hot. Was really good. If you order just the slider it's $3.50. The combo includes two sliders and fries for nine dollars. A pickle would have been a nice addition. Just a thought. read more

This truck was at Braman Winery last night. Hubs got two each of the angus, grilled chicken and buffalo chicken. I had the angus and the chicken. Both delish!!!! Good seasoning on the burger, chicken juicy and tender, soft yummy buns, aioli was great, and some of the best sweet potato fries I've had anywhere!!!!! Hubs enjoyed the buffalo chicken. Visited here on 01/24 at an event for Grand Mission. Cashier was an unprofessional airhead. By reports the food was subpar. Tried to use a visa gift card for transaction. Cashier asked me for my zip code. (What face to face merchant ask for a zip code?) This was suspicious because zip codes are only asked for with over the phone transactions and online orders. Cashier stated that my card was declined. I informed him that that the card was possibly declined because there was no zip code associated with the gift card. The cashier became hostile and repeatedly asked if I wanted to "do his job" I informed hIm that I had no desire to do his job, I was just giving him an explanation for why it possibly didn't work so the issue could be fixed. He continued to be rude and nasty. I explained to him that there was no reason to be ugly about the situation and asked him to be professional. If the cashier was a professional and has any common sense he would know that the card was not working because he wrongly registered his company as an ONLINE VENDOR , because of this only REGISTERED gift cards can be used regardless of whether it is visa or MasterCard. The gift card not being accepted was not a big deal, I could always use another form of payment. I chose not to do business with this merchant because I will not patron a business that does not have good customer service. I will be forwarding my concerns to my HOA. read more

I ordered it without the mushrooms but fortunately there was still plenty to it, especially since it includes a fried egg. I also got the Creole aoili instead of the pesto one at the recommendation of the man in the window (owner?). He was super friendly and chatted with me while I waited. I took it to-go and ate it about an hour later, but it was still warm and was absolutely delicious.
