What could improve? Knowing the difference between medical patients and recreational customers. As a medical patient, it is frustrating to see staff consistently call on "customers" before the medical patients standing in the so-called "medical line." It happens a lot at this particular location and today was no different. A female called "Jesse" was helping a white, male customer who had literally JUST WALKED IN and was standing in the recreational/online line (I also had an online order). I let it slide on so many other occasions but today, I asked Jesse about it since I WAS there waiting before him. She was rude and dismissive (just saying that "he's medical too."), while never making any eye contact with me. She clearly showed that she just didn't care and I am finally starting to understand that this staff, with the exception of just a couple (in my experience!), do not appear to adhere to any policies regarding the lines. They are now refusing to sell to me because the physical driver's license that I've used there for the past 2 years is expired. BUT MY LICENSE IS VALID AND I HAVE THE DMV PAPERWORK TO PROVE IT. I asked if they take digital IDs--they said yes--but still refused to accept my Apple-certified digital driver's license. All bars and places like Sunda and Good Good take it without issue. The staff was rude and dismissive, clearly more focused on closing in 20 minutes than helping a returning customer. I've been here the past two months with no problem using the same ID. They will remove bonus stickers and magnets, and possibly a pinch of flower or extract too... it's unknown how broad of an issues it is. I first noticed it when purchasing the Grow Science carts, that currently include artsy magnets from the manufacturer, and formerly sticker. Was very excited to visit and was very disappointed in said visit. The lines got very long very quickly and the check in process took quite a bit of time. The only thing that truly bothered me was our budtender. Nice guy but seemed incredibly stoned and kept bringing us the wrong items. Overall he made some good recommendations, but it was not my favorite experience. We paid for everything and went on our way just to open the sealed bag the next day and discovered half our order was missing. And we were charged for them. He didn't bother to check my wife's ID so she thought she was okay to follow behind me and he shouted at her, "Whoa whoa you can't go back there without showing ID" to which I replied "Hey man she's with me and her ID is right here". When you sit the front desk at a weed shop you have two jobs: 1. Be friendly and welcoming 2. Have a fluid and simple check in process. Went here and they said if I pay with a card they have to round up to the newest $5. They say this is because it's like an ATM purchase (whatever that means). Then, you have to pay a $2.50 fee to be charged more than your purchase. Then your bank hots you with whatever fee a foreign ATM costs you ($3 in my case and they don't tell you this at the dispensary). So a $45, tax included, purchase would draft a total of $55.50 from your bank account. Recreational customers are already paying out the nose to buy here and these greasy owners are only making it worse. Do yourself a favor. Skip this dispensary, get cash from an in-network ATM or cashback at a store and don't use your debit card. Also, according to multiple sources online and my bank, abusing the debit network and users like this isn't legal. Boo. read more
