Since it was a busy morning the online order feature is super handy to save time but if you have time, the atmosphere in the cafe is inviting and love how they serve drinks and food on real dinnerware (coffee tastes better in a ceramic mug than cardboard cup wouldn't you say?). Everything was delicious and can see myself stopping for a flavored latte again some time. Bonus! They sell cute gifts and other (local?) items from stationary to kitchen accessories and handmade jewelry. Wish I had more time to look through the items but my wallet thanks me haha.

The visits started out pretty good as we were a group of 12 coming into their establishment to start their day and we were their first clients. To walk in we expressed that we understood that only one person was working and that the timing may be a little bit slower due to the fact that she was the only one there. We put our orders in and slowly started seeing other clients of theirs come in the door and place orders. We could tell that some may have been online but let's remember that we walked in as they were opening. We waited an hour and 35 minutes to get paninis and smoothies and started noticing the people that had come in behind us and online orders were getting their food before us. We went to the front counter to ask, "Why are people getting their orders before us?" and we expressed that it was because they placed their orders online and that online orders had their own process. We were unable to accept this as we were their first clients of the day. We waited an hour and a half and people behind us and all non-orders were receiving their food before us. This was not just about the customer service and speed at which we received our order. We ordered a banana and peanut butter panini and two apple and cheese paninis, of which the bread was dry. There were barely any ingredients on the sandwich and it just did not taste good at all. This may be my first time saying I do not recommend a restaurant but this time I must say it. I can say the establishment was clean. It's an open kitchen where you can see the restaurant. They had games for kids to play and the ingredients seem to be fresh. I just spoke with the owner and got a better understanding of what happened. While I won't adjust what was said I will say the due to the fresh ingredients, situational challenges and promptness of reply of the owner, I will adjust my review as to not hurt this local small business. The owner was courteous, understanding and apologetic. She gave a detailed answer as to what happened and how they plan to improve.

The best word I can come up with is "lovely". If you want an overall lovely vibe and experience, you really need to visit. Their menu board is divided into two sections, with breakfast on the left and lunch on the right. We were there in the morning, so with breakfast on our minds we checked out the left board and saw breakfast sandwiches, bagels, a kid's menu, and a potato patty side. My wife ordered a single egg sandwich on an English Muffin ($4) with bacon ($1) and a potato patty side ($1). Now those are very reasonable prices, so I really don't agree with some of the price bashing I've seen on this page. I ordered what turned out to be one of the very best breakfast sandwiches I've had in months. My Breakfast BLT was a feast of toasted rye bread, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, and two fried eggs. It kept me full for half the day, and at $10.50 was worth every penny. Village Market's coffees are sourced from "Those Guys Coffee Company" out of New Hartford. Our coffee was excellent ($3 for a 12-ounce cup). Oh, and there is one more reason why our visit was lovely - our conversations and interactions with Evelyn. She and her daughter are owners, and she was super friendly, and just a real pleasure to meet and chat with. And to add one more reason to visit is this -they also sell ice cream! We were in the area and I got one of their March specials, the shamrock iced latte; it was pretty good. My husband also enjoyed their cold brew. They have an Asian flair to the entire menu, so expect to see Banh Mis, Mochi Donuts, Taiwanese Chicken, Vietnamese and Saigonese coffees, matches, Ube (Filipino purple yam) flavorings, and Croffles. Croffles? WTF is a Croffle? Well, it's a hybrid of a croissant and waffle from South Korea and became a worldwide sensation around 2020 or so. So of course, I had to try my first Croffle. They are sold as a plain treat, or glammed up with syrups, crushed bakery goods, fruit or marshmallows. I went with an Original Classic Croffle ($5.50) and a small cup of iced Vietnamese coffee ($7). The Croffle was a bit chewier than I expected but was tasty and reminded me more of a waffle than a croissant. My iced Vietnamese coffee was superb, with tons of flavor and hints of chocolate. It was sweet and decadent. On the way out I picked up two more croffles -a chocolate and a Nutella and they ended up as our after dinner desserts the next few days. This ended up being a pretty interesting stop, and unlike any coffee shop I can remember.

I'm pretty familiar Avon but Bela Vida is located away from all the other attractions, right next to a small fitness club. Bela Vida is such a beautiful space, there's positive words right outside the door. The beautiful plants all over the space made me want to stay. The natural materials made this place comfortable and relaxing. The menu of teas and protein shakes is the size of the whole wall. I decided to go with the Dirt Cake Lean & Fit Shake. I got mine in a medium size, which was a pretty generous size, and I realized I could have gone with a small. This was pretty chocolatey, but I could tell there was protein powder as the base. Well I knew what I was getting, so I wasn't so let down by the after taste. I will say this was my breakfast and lunch today. It was very filling and decently tasty. What I enjoyed a lot more than the shake it's self, is the space and the environment. It is a great space to be alone or with friends. I enjoyed reading parts of the book The Astrology of You and Me, they had on the little table. And the background music was a great counterpart. I plan to return here in the future and try something else.

The tea was strong, tart but the fruit flavors were not strong enough to step on the green tea flavor. The protein shake was grainy but had a good flavor. Creamy, cold, and thick. They do topping as well but I opted against adding it. Price is on par for a shake place. They also have oat balls and other misc snacks. It's a pretty decent shake, and a very good tea place. I tried the guava matcha, lightly sweetened, and added the cheese cloud. Yes, the cheese cloud is an extra charge, but MAN... do not sleep on it! It is a MUST TRY. It is likely that the man taking my order was hired either yesterday or today. He was so confused, he pointed to the menu at what I ordered and I reassured him, that's it. After a very short wait my order was ready. I was very surprised I didn't see any whisking or blending. My order was entirely wrong. Since I am non confrontational, I took the wrong order. I got the Banana Pudding. I have made this exact pudding before. It consists of vanilla pudding, vanilla wafers, condensed milk and sliced banana. Was it tasty? Yes absolutely! But I'd much rather get something that I can't make my self. The small cup was about the size of a small ice cream cup for $7. The bananas were fresh and the pudding was rich and creamy, the wafers were broken and soft. The mirrored walls were handy for making sure I'm not leaving with some sort of cream on my face. I indeed used it for this purpose. Bliss likely has something I would enjoy, I might stop by in the future sometime.
