I miss the old staff. I used to come here every Tuesday over covid. I recently returned this Valentines Day and things just weren't the same. Long line to the door but no urgency from the staff. The lady taking orders couldn't hear through the glass so she was asking people to point at the cupcakes they wanted and they didn't work so well either. Guy ahead of me was asking about the gluten free cupcakes that were marked gluten free but the girl told him they're not gluten free they're vegan. Cupcake wise I ordered 4. They weren't as fresh as I remember, the actual cake wasn't as soft but they were still good. The labels on the glass didn't match a lot of the cupcakes ordered. I wanted lemon strawberry and got lemon raspberry. There was just a lot going on. Maybe this was all due to the holiday.
I called around to several bakeries in the area and no one could make what my daughter was requesting, which is a simple gold and white cake and from what we learned a lot of the bakeries don't carry gold icing. We walked in here and spoke to the baker directly and she was confident that they could deliver what my daughter was requesting and envisioning. I could've placed the order right then and there but I told her we will discuss exactly what it is she definitely wants on the cake and we will submit the order online with the exact image from Pinterest that my daughter finds. I submitted the order online and followed up with several calls regarding the confirmation that they could deliver the cake but I never heard back from anyone after 2 weeks because only the owner has access to the website. I called again and spoke to a team member regarding my order and she confirmed it was received and that they can make the cake for us. I received a quote from the baker when I was in the store and a quote from the owner and asked why did I get different quotes. The owner did not know that I was already given a quote while in the store and did honor it. We picked up the cake and it was what my daughter requested. Ms. Rachel delivered! Thank You!!!
It's been a long while since I dropped in here...but I finally made the time to stop in and grab 4 fatty assortment of cupcakes (2 for me, 2 for my Big Daddy...I only wish my son was still living with us so I could have grabbed 2 for him as well). As always, there were plenty of tantalizing flavors of cupcakes to choose from...as well as other snack varieties (mostly cookies?). I noticed that they downsized the boxing (no longer in the pretty pink or brown motif), but guess it's understandable due to Covid. Still, the cupcakes are as luscious as ever. By now, both my husband and I finished our cupcakes at home. BTW, I'm a huge fan of their Red Velvet, so that's always a staple. I tried the Oatmeal flavor (which comes with a mini cookie topping!)...and loved that as well. My husband loved his Double Strawberry and the Caramel flavored cupcakes. In short, we loved them ALL!! Am SO glad this place survived Covid...and hope it stays strong 'cuz I intend to return for more and more!
Cupcrazed is my favorite brick-and-mortar cakery in the Charlotte area (driving to Fort Mill is only a short trip, but worth it). My love for the business started when I first moved to Charlotte and the owner treated me to one of her delicious chocolatey jumbo cookies (those things used to sell out fast). I of course bought some cupcakes because, even when I'm gifted food, I love to support businesses. I was hooked - it was clear WHY Cupcrazed cupcakes are award-winners: they're moist, flavorful, creative and taste like they were made with love. I was sad when the Woodlawn location closed, but I make it a point to visit the Baxter Village location whenever I can. The cupcakes are reasonably priced for the size and quality. The store is always decorated with fun or seasonally relevant decor and customer service is fantastic. I recommend Cupcrazed to anyone who dubs themselves a "cake snob" like me. You can't be the quality!
So disappointed! I haven't been here in a while so I took my boys and the two young girls in there were not friendly. I purchased 6 cupcakes, 3 cookies, and cake pops. 2 cupcakes were suppose to be red velvet but once I got home I saw they were chocolate. Many cupcakes were in the wrong spot from what was written on the glass. I specifically asked for 2 red velvet's and the young girl gave me 2 chocolates. The cake itself was hard and didn't taste like anything. The Buttercream icing was good.

In the beginning when I started going there things were excellent but over time the cupcakes became inconsistent with texture, taste and customer service. I wrote a review then which the previous owner didn't like and I decided I wouldn't go again. Now fast forward to today and below is my updated review. I said to myself many years ago that I would never patronize Cupcrazed again because of their inconsistency, lack of customer service skills and a former owner who honestly did not like any type of constructive criticism. Well, my wife and I were recently back at Cupcrazed and I'm still not a fan. The cupcakes we got were the Caramel Bacon and Red Velvet. The cupcakes were slightly stale and the bacon portions were smaller than I remember which may be okay for some. However, it's not close to how Cupcrazed touts themselves as the winners of Cupcakes Wars on Food Network. It seems that they rely heavily on a remarkable achievement but they don't bring that seem energy and passion to the consumers here. I personally think that there are better options for cupcakes other than Cupcrazed that are always consistent, well priced and customer service is a priority. After all these years and new management, I don't see or taste a difference but some will disagree with me which is fine but don't rely on hype of the past to accept mediocrity.
Stopped in to share one cupcake with the wife, and never has a decision been so difficult! Somehow they recreated every single flavor I've ever enjoyed in my life. Ultimately we settled on a chocolate cupcake with coconut (called a Snowball, maybe). It was absolutely amazing! The cake was incredibly moist and the copious frosting was delicious. The ratio totally worked for me, but I could see some people feeling that there was too icing relative to the cake.
This is a delicious sweet spot located in Fort Mill. They do not have a parking lot but you can use the street parking to access the bakery. I found this place on a whim I wanted something sweet and looked up some local bakeries. They have a variety of sweet treats in gluten free and vegan options or you can get the regular made. They offer several different flavors ranging from Oreo, classics like red velvet, to cake batter. They offer cookies ice cream cinnamon rolls to take home and bake etc.. I picked up some cupcakes for my coworkers and I quite enjoyed death by chocolate and the strawberry cupcake. My co worked enjoyed the cupcakes. The carrot cupcake was a little dense and not as airy probably not a good batch but they choose to serve it anyway. They have a rewards program and they offer two dollar discount on Tuesdays. The prices are moderate for a bakery. The staff are really friendly. Hope you enjoy!
Beautiful work on decorating the cupcakes! The cake itself was not moist at all! Some of them was hard and stale. The service was ok but the cupcakes was not good. I will possibly revisit again but it will be some time before I revisit again because it is always a hit or miss. They are never consistent with a moist delicious cupcake!!
This is one of our favorite spots. We've been to south Caroline 3 times now and we make it here at least once each trip, if not multiple times. Every trip we bring cupcakes home for my family as well. We always get a mixed dozen so I can't recommend specific ones because they are all delicious. We got them for my mother in laws birthday this year as well on this trip and I really enjoyed the birthday cake cupcake. The stuffed cookies are amazing. This trip we had Oreo, s'mores, and birthday cake. All equally as amazing. I have not been disappointed yet when we make the trip and cannot wait to come back. In the meantime I will drool over the pictures they share on social media.

I've been here several times and I usually have issues. The cupcakes I've had are either dry, stale, misshaped or they taste like. (I bought banana, bubble gum and vanilla one time. They all tasted like vanilla) My last visit I tried macaroons. Ick! They were tasteless, hard and crunchy. I've had a few good cupcakes but mostly disappointed in the rest of them. I've tried to keep going back thinking it was just a bad batch. But after about 5 visits now it's safe to say they just aren't quality goods. The service though I can say is very friendly and fast.

I was in for the gluten free cupcakes. I tried red velvet and salted Carmel. Red velvet was my favorite. Salted Carmel definitely tastes gluten free to me. If you know you know. Staff was super friendly and shop was decorated really cute. I'll be back for the red velvet! read more

Such a cute store and the flavors are amaaaazing! It's fun to take kiddos there for a treat and walk around on a pretty day. A lot of tween birthday girls love to have a nail party next door then stop off for their sugar fix afterwards. You'll love these cupcakes! read more

Ordered a gluten free vanilla cake with lemon filling and vanilla buttercream and a dozen decorated cookies for my future daughter in laws bridal shower and it was all delicious! I decided to come check this bakery out after my coworkers brought me back some. It's located in Baxter Village of Fort Mill near my work. The second I stepped in I was immediately struck by the wonderful smell of cupcakes and cookies. Their display of cupcakes are at the very front of the store when you walk in. I went with the half dozen assortment of your choice for around $15, but I believe they run $2 cupcake deals on Tuesday. I also purchased a couple cookies as they were on a $1 special for Monday. I'm not sure what all the specials consist of for the week. But my goodness the cookies were delicious, you could split them open and they were stuffed with either Oreos or pumpkin batter. I didn't get a chance to eat the cupcakes as I decided to give them as a present to my friend who was having a bad day. But they gave me the cupcakes in a cute pink box which made it look like a great gift! I'll be back to get my own cupcakes soon! read more
Charlotte, NC has over 10 bakeries one can buy cupcakes from when the craving hits. While I'm sure each and every one has delicious offerings, I chose to drive over 40 minutes into Fort Mill when I have a sweet itch that needs scratching. Who wouldn't enjoy a cutely designed shoppe, happy workers and patrons, creative cupcakes, cookies and cake pops every single visit? I try to get there as early as I can to have the best selection of cupcakes. I've never had one I didn't love and wish I had bought more of. read more

This bakery is super cute and welcoming. They have $1.00 cupcakes on Thursdays, don't quote me. I had to have tried just about every cupcake they had on display the day I visited. My favorite was the lemon!! OMG. I bit into that cupcake, not only was it delicious, it had a lemony surprise in the center that wowed my life. My second favorite was the caramel cappuccino. I expected it to Luke a cappuccino, but surprisingly it wasn't. It was amazingly good. I can't wait to go back to get another lemon cupcake. read more

Ordered a dozen cupcakes chosing to try most of what they had to offer. Nobody in the fam could finish a single cupcake. All were greasy (literally dripping from cupcake paper on a few) and flavorless. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful but I came for cupcakes and was very disappointed. read more

These cupcakes are the yummiest!!!! Always new flavors and we love the cookie kits for the twins. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Ordered a cake last minute because i forgot a birthday and it was delicious and beautiful. I'm an ASU grad and was up during graduation last week--found another one there. read more
This is one of the best cupcake places in the NC/SC area. When they were in Charlotte I would be there at least once a week! Now they are just in fort Mill but it's still close enough to treat yourself every now and again. They have wonderful funky flavors od cupcakes, cookies, cookie sandwiches, brownie cups etc. They're cake is always so moist and just perfect. Do yourself a favor and stop by! read more

I only visit this place about once or twice a year Bc I literally suffer from a sugar coma afterwards LOL but it's a very nice cupcake spot with a HUGE variety of specialty cupcakes. They have some standard flavors that are there daily, but checkout their website for the special flavors of the day. They also have $2 Tuesdays! I went on 4/20/18 and the themed cupcake was called "Half Baked". It was a chocolate chip cupcake filled with brownie batter, cookie dough icing and a mini brownie on top. Nice play on words! The cupcake was very moist and dense and super duper decadent. read more

Ordered a dozen cupcakes to be delivered to my daughter at work for her 26th birthday- I live in California and ordered at 9:30 am PST and the cupcakes were delivered close to 45 min later. Daughter said the chocolate cupcakes were delicious! read more
