The cupcakes are probably the best I've ever had! What made them so great is the flavor is on point without being too overly sweet. Remember to keep your box!

I've made it a personal mission to seek out all lemon cupcakes in the area. When I saw this place had an Italian Limoncello cupcake I was super excited and decided to drive out and give them a try. I got 4/$10 (lemon, key like pie, banana pudding and strawberry). I ate the key lime pie right away and it was delicious! The filling was my favorite. The lemon didn't have any filling which was a bummer and it wasn't really lemony but still good. I haven't tried the other two yet. I guess I keep my house too hot (78 ish) because the frosting kind of started to melt off so I put them in the fridge. I'll be back soon to give this place another try. The cupcakes are good, the staff is friendly and the changing varieties are amazing.

I came here on a whim. I had to go next door to pick up flowers and decided to come here and try out a few cupcakes. I ended up getting 4 for $10. The owner was really nice and helpful. I ended up getting two birthday sprinkles, red velvet, and a chocolate and peanut butter cupcake. The frosting was very light and airy, not too heavy. The cake part was fresh and not dry. Best part is if you bring your box, you will get a free cupcake if you purchase 4 for $10!

Great cupcake spot. This is a Hidden shop near Carolina Place mall. It's a pink shop in a shared shopping area with plenty of parking. They offer a variety of flavors in the cupcakes are very moist I quite enjoy the oatmeal cookie cream cupcake. Customer service was superb. I was informed about an incentive if I bring the box back I will get a fifth cupcake for free since I purchased four. Definitely recommend and will return! They asked that customers continue to wear a mask. What a smart idea when you're selling food in a smaller store. The cupcakes are put in a cup holder. Never seen this before it was very surprised smart idea. I hope you enjoy your tasty treats.

How have I NOT reviewed this place yet? So cupcake delirium is amazingly tasty. The cupcakes are specialty cupcakes with something special per creation. The owner is very pleasant, she make the visits so awesome (as if that was possible) with her smile and eager explanations of the various cupcake creations. I've been here on numerous occasions whether to pick up treats for friends, snag a treat for myself after weeks of no sweets, to treat my little ones, etc. The bakery is hard but not so hard to find just don't miss that turn off Main into the parking lot. She has a nice table in the bakery to sit and enjoy your treat or have a chat with her about life and baking. I've had several pleasant conversations with her and her husband on occasion. I am a fan and will continue to support and refer.

This here is a review of the bakery itself, not the truck. Actually I'm not even sure if the truck is still a thing, but it would be cool to see it somewhere if so. Coming in is confusing at first. They're actually a part of the strip mall - at the very end. It's a cute set up. Very colorful and inviting. Parking is a pain. I recommend backing in. Inside they have a tall display case with about 8 different flavor concoctions. Seems like they change up most of these every day. They probably also have a daily limit where they shut down once sold out. They sell "day old" cupcakes on another shelf. I came in on Valentine's Day and they were going nonstop. I ordered a box of four which comes to $10. If the guy running the register didn't suggest it, I wouldn't have even known. (Even though there's a sign or it.) You can also buy just one for $3. So getting four is quite a deal. If I heard correctly, when you bring your box back in they'll give you a cupcake in exchange for it. I think that's awesome that they see the value in not wasting. Also, what a way to get people to come back in? I got a blueberry french toast cupcake with bacon on top. It was amazing. The bacon was just enough salt to pair up nicely with the sweet frosting. The filling of a sort of baked blueberry reduction was unexpected and scrumptious. I also got a banana pudding, red velvet and "death by chocolate" for my girlfriend. They were actually out of those but were making more in the back at that exact moment. They hooked me up. They put the cupcakes in plastic cups turned upside down. It's ingenious really. Clearly I'll be back!

Great prices at $3.00, love the packaging because it makes it easy to transport - even though it's plastic - eh - what a challenge. I ordered the cookies and cream, red velvet, and Death by chocolate. Over all, I love the presentation and packaging. I ordered though Door Dash and they came in perfect condition. Taste: I only liked the cookies & cream. The other two were a little dry to my liking and I prefer cream cheese whipped icing. I am not a butter cream fan, but I know that is very popular and easy to decorate with, so I'll leave that alone. The red velvet was okay, I didn't get enough of a cream cheese taste and not much difference from the butter cream flavors - disappointing. Today was my taste test day, so I ordered from 3 places. The decorations were cute and overall, I think that others will enjoy the cupcakes unless you prefer cream cheese icing or really moist cupcakes - like me. Enjoy!

Yum yum yum! I love cupcake delirium! I first tried them when they traveled by truck on food truck Wednesday's near Southpark and I fell in love. I saw that they moved over near Pineville so I decided to stop over late Friday. The cupcakes were scarce due to the time of day but I was still able to get a red velvet cupcake. It is still amazing...moist, perfectly sweet, nice balance of frosting and cake...perfect! Can't wait to go back.

I found cupcake delirium at my friends wedding. There were 4 different flavor of cupcakes. My favorite was pumpkin cheesecake. I'm a big pumpkin fan an this cupcake was so moist an lots of pumpkin . They did an amazing job on my friends cupcake wedding tower it was beautiful . They set up the cupcakes n returned to help box up an my left over cupcakes. In so excited they will now be right around the corner from my house yum of course I'll probably be walking there to get burn off all those delishish cupcakes check them out , they also have a food truck . Check out the pecan pie cupcake wow My friend gave her husband a surprise party an they both love cupcake delirium. There were several different cupcake flavors I had never had bannanarama oh my new favorite. Plus they did a chocolate cake, this is the best cupcake place in charlotte. She needs to be on food network, I do like Cupcrazed in fort mill but my furst choice will always be cupcake delirium. If you cant make it to pineville to there store front they have a cupcake truck. Follow them on FB an you can see the daily flavors.

Cupcakes are tasty here. I got the banana pudding cupcake which was basically a cupcake filled with banana pudding and topped with a buttercream frosting and nilla cookie. The cake itself is great. It's moist without being overly dense. The frosting though is really buttery (think, if you were to put it in the fridge too long, it would harden like a stick of butter) -- so not always the most appealing. I'd love to try others flavor here. Finally, can I just say how ingenious the upside down plastic cup containers are? Okay, they don't hold cupcakes perfectly and you have to be careful the way you hold it since the bottom can drop out if you squeeze the cup--but it seems cost-effective and clever. For a $3 cupcake, it's a great (cheaper) alternative to what I had at e2 to go.

They had offered samples of their lemon tart at the event, which stayed on my mind--so I came back and ordered the Lorraine-style quiche. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced by a fresh side salad. I paired it with a café au lait, which was equally well done. The ambiance is effortlessly chic--very much reminiscent of a European café--and it was lively during lunch. It's the kind of place where you can sit, linger, and people-watch... and SouthPark definitely showed up in style. At one point, several guests seated near us were speaking French, which added to the authenticity and overall experience. Service was warm and efficient, even with the crowd. The bakery itself is on the smaller side--you order inside and then head outside to sit and eat. I went on a Sunday, so it was very busy with a long line, but it moved quickly. When seating fills up, the neighboring restaurant allows use of their patio, which is a thoughtful touch. My friend enjoyed her quiche as well, and we both agreed it's a spot worth returning to--whether for a casual lunch, coffee, or a pastry break. I also order a few macarons to go and my family enjoyed them.

Review for Renaissance Patisserie…read more After relocating to Charlotte from San Francisco, one of the first things I searched for was a proper kouign-amann (pronounced queen-ah-mahn). It's a staple where I'm from, and when I discovered that Renaissance Patisserie carried it, I made the drive immediately. I'm happy to say--this place is the real deal. The kouign-amann here reminded me of the ones back in San Francisco. It wasn't quite as buttery or rich as some of the West Coast versions, but it was absolutely enjoyable--and most importantly, I finished every bite. That alone says a lot. Location & setting: Renaissance is tucked into the upscale specialty shops of SouthPark, in a lovely, polished shopping center surrounded by quality retailers like Williams Sonoma and several restaurants. Parking is plentiful and convenient, and once you step out of your car, you're welcomed into a charming outdoor courtyard that feels relaxed and refined. You'll immediately notice the bright yellow awning--it's cheerful and inviting--and inside, the bakery is just as charming. The black-and-white tile floors, small bistro tables, and beautifully arranged pastry case create a classic European feel. It's not a huge space--maybe six or seven tables--but it feels cozy, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. What makes it special: * A stunning pastry case filled with beautifully crafted desserts and laminated pastries * Skilled bakers and decorators--you can tell there's real craftsmanship behind the products * Friendly, efficient service * Apple Pay accepted (always appreciated) * Self-service water and condiments station * Clean, comfortable environment * A lovely outdoor patio that's perfect when the weather cooperates I do wish they occasionally experimented with more creative variations of the kouign-amann--perhaps seasonal fruit or specialty flavors--but even in its classic form, it's consistently a hit. I've brought these pastries to friends and gatherings, and they're always well received. What I appreciate most is that Renaissance delivers on quality and consistency. It may be a newer trend here in Charlotte, but these pastries have been a long-standing favorite in cities like San Francisco, and it's wonderful to see that level of craftsmanship available locally. Bottom line: Beautiful pastries, fair prices, great service, and a polished, welcoming atmosphere. This has become my go-to bakery in Charlotte, and if you appreciate well-made French pastries, you will not be disappointed.
