This is the BEST apple pie we have ever had! We can't wait to try other pies. This is the "real deal" for awesome pies.

I really thought these guys would in a stand alone building with more character. That's where they belong in my opinion. They are better than their location. I got the Brookie Monster with mint chocolate chip. My son got the Dirt Cup Sundae and my wife got a cup of the mint chocolate chip. We all liked our desserts very much. For me, I was surprised I like the brownie more than the chocolate chip cookie. Also, with the Brookie Monster having both a brownie and a cookie (big cookie), the ice cream ratio was off. Not enough. Perhaps I could have added a scoop? I recommend you do that if you order this. The owners were not there but they seem like really nice and down to earth folks. Recommend.

So disappointed. I did pivot to the unicorn. When I picked up this Unicorn it was impressive and well put together. It was delicious. Another win is the amount of ice cream. You do get what you pay for here. Service was good as well. So a mixed review because of the Valentine special not being available in Valentine's Day but not an all bad experience.

The lemon ice cream with lemon Oreos. She suggested it and it didn't disappoint. It was extremely good and refreshing. I will definitely return to this location in the future. There aren't many cold stones in the area and this may be one of the closest to me.

This Cold Stone location in Fort Mill is much better than the Rivergate location in Steele Creek…read more I'm a little closer to the Rivergate location, but this one is worth it coming the little extra way. Each time I've ordered, whether online or in person has been a great experience. One time recently, I tried ordering online, and it would not let me use my coupon - kept saying I needed to add valid items to my cart. I would add different items, and still nothing would work. I went inside and explained the situation. They tried to do the order in the system first before making my order to see if it would work. They had no issues applying the coupon that was on my account to what I wanted to order. Allison J. was on the receipt that time, which appears to be a manager based on other reviews. She is excellent - friendly and helpful! I do hope they bring back the Don't lay a finger on my Butterfinger creation because it was very good - peanut butter ice cream with Butterfingers, caramel, and chocolate. Yum!

OK, I'll just say we had "da** fine" meals. Fresh, seasonal ingredients combined in some unique and surprising ways, beautifully prepared and so, so delicious. Just look at the photos of a selection of our dishes. This was well worth an update of my earlier review. First, Speckled Pear has removed the community seating and the prepared food, bakery and produce counters from my earlier visits and replaced them with true "restaurant" tables. The focus is now squarely on dining, with lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch service. And oh, there's still a wine bar and bottles are still available for purchase. In my humble view a significant positive step. Our servers were excellent, including helpfully explaining some of the wine options (my wife and sister-in-law ordered a flight). Still a fairly casual environment. Great acoustics- I hate echo chambers. We sat close to other guests but were able to easily talk among ourselves without hearing any extraneous neighbor conversations. Dare I say, Speckled Pear is now a {insert tire company name} star-quality dining experience. In Fort Mill! PS - It's a small restaurant which filled quickly and early on the weekday we visited. Reservations are recommended.

Really unique bites to eat, with a thoughtful combination of flavors and ingredients. It's a small spot with intentional design choices and a communal table. Outside of the incredible food, the service really stood out! They have a really kind, and knowledgeable team. We were also lucky enough to meet the chef who with his wife started the restaurant just about a year ago. They're just as warm as the rest of their team! Really looking forward to going back next time we're in Charlotte.
