She already helped my wife with shoes that slipped in the recent past, so I decided to go back to the Shoe Mill when I had the same issue with a new pair of shoes, and guess who was there again. So, what makes Michelle great at her job and stand out above the rest, she is a creative problem solver. She didn't just point me in the direction of the insoles, which there is a small wall full. The insoles were not cushiony, I really thought it was going to be a bust before Michelle came to save the day. I didn't need hard supportive insoles, I needed as she put it, to take up space. This also added cushion, which is what I wanted. I should add she remembered both my wife and I, and my wife's very unique shoes.... That's impressive. My shoes felt great and no longer slipped in the back. I will come back for any issues with fit, only because of Michelle. Thanks, and bring all your shoe fit issues to the Shoe Mill and ask for Michelle!

Fantastic customer service by associate Jonathan at Kohl's in Sherwood. I had to return an Amazon…read morepurchase and did not have the return label or my cell phone with me. The customer associate searched for the return label number on his own cell phone and was able to process the return without me having to drive home and get the necessary information. It was my first return, so I was not familiar with the procedure. Customer service like that is hard to find; I was blown away by his kind and helpful service attitude. I will always remember that and shop at Kohl's whenever I can.

They aren't nice enough to be a department store like Macy's or Nordstrom, but not cheap enough to be like Target. However, this store is clean and has amazing restrooms. Also, when making a return, I got $5 in Kohl's Cash that I decided to spend on some clearance candy. Upon going to the register, I found out that I had $10 Kohl's Cash on my account, so I essentially got $15 for free and didn't have to pay for any of the things I wanted to buy! No minimum, and you can use it on clearance items. Too bad Kohl's doesn't really carry anything that I wear besides Van's, undershirts, underwear and socks, but good to know for the future!

However, we later realized she had accidentally ordered a women's size 12 instead of a men's size 12. Over the past several months, we had intended to exchange them, but life got in the way--whether it was forgetting the receipt or just being too busy. Yesterday (Sunday, July 13), we finally made it to the store. It was a very busy afternoon, and while I searched for parking, my girlfriend went inside. She was initially told by the customer service representative that the shoes could not be returned due to the time that had passed. She wasn't upset, just a bit disappointed--after all, she simply wanted to get the right size for me. As she was leaving the store, the store manager, Rob, approached her and asked if she had found what she was looking for. She explained the situation, and Rob immediately brought her back to the customer service counter, authorized the return, and even offered an updated style of shoe. Rob's actions turned a potentially disappointing experience into a perfect example of phenomenal customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure we left with a positive impression--and most importantly, a smile. My girlfriend, our kids, grandkids, and I are all loyal Nike customers, and this experience only deepened our trust in the brand. I waited 20 minutes on a line with 6 customers (and 2 cashiers) while there were several employees moving in a Brownian Motion pattern.
