Love this store! After getting and drooling over the Sundance catalog for years, it's wonderful to…read morehave a brick & mortar store where I can see, touch and try on the clothes, boots, jewelry and handbags. Plus check out the beautiful home decor. The style of Sundance, founded by Robert Redford, is relaxed, casual boho chic. They have lots of silver jewelry with touches of turquoise and coral; clothing in sand and shades brown with colors of a warm desert sunset mixed in; home decor in the same warm, earthy hues. I find it very soothing. Many of the sweaters and clothing items have Aztec prints or soft floral designs. Lots of calf length cardigans and big oversized sweaters which are even more popular this year during Covid when people are seeking loose, comfortable clothing. Their jewelry speaks to me, especially their collection of earrings from a variety of artists. Silver is my preference on its own or mixed with gold, and long and dangly is my style. They have so many options. While they don't call out Ayla Bar, I recognize many of the pieces from her collection. Made from Czech glass, mixed metals and fabric, her signature design stands out and I'm happy to see her pieces as part of the Sundance curated collection. The store itself has the same vibe as the items within. Casual, relaxed, worn in like your favorite pair of jeans. The people working here are friendly, helpful, and most important, leave me to browse at my leisure! Located on the same strip as the Regal Theatre, across from Pendleton and right next to Sephora, somehow it took me a few years to realize Sundance was at Bridgeport. How the heck did I miss that? Well, now I know and I'm telling you!!! Whenever I am at Bridgeport, I will definitely be stopping in to check out the merchandise as it changes seasonally. Sundance is a destination for me; meaning I will now go to Bridgeport deliberately just to go to Sundance! It's one of my favorite stores!

Gorgeous store, but strange vibe from one of the sales staff…read more I'm a huge fan of the Sundance catalog. I've been buying stuff online from Sundance for both myself and my husband for well over 10 years. Some of our favorite sweaters, coats, and shirts are from Sundance. When I discovered this store in Tigard (I live in Portland), I was thrilled to go there and see the merchandise in person. I wasn't disappointed by the store. It is stunning! If I worked there, I'd spend my salary buying everything. I went there with my husband (or I should say I dragged him there -- he hates shopping). I hadn't intended to buy anything, but I saw a gorgeous sweater (of course) and my sweet husband wanted to purchase it for me for my upcoming birthday. The sales person that helped me and showed me to the dressing room was charming. Things got weird when my husband paid for the sweater. When he handed his American Express card to the person that rang him up (not the same person that helped me), she said that she hadn't seen an American Express card of that color in a long time. We have the green card, the basic American Express card. I guess most of their customers have gold or platinum (or higher level) cards? WTH? I made a joke that turquoise is my favorite color. (I think the green American Express card looks turquoise.) Anyway, I'll let you decide what her intent was. For me, that comment was insulting. We won't be back. I'll be buying from the catalog from now on.

First of all, their underwear area was a complete disaster the last time I visited. The floor was completely covered in bras, almost piled up to my knees... I was very confused like I must have missed the apocalypse. This time I was able to really see all of the merchandise! It was laid out so nicely on racks. I swear they used to have carpet... all I know is that it was smooth concrete, so easy to walk around and I don't have to dig through things to find my size. This isn't a bin situation. They also rearranged the shoes and the aisles do seem a touch smaller there which, as far as complaints go, that is a small one. It was also nice that their sizes and the way each of the racks are marked seemed way better. I am a sort of odd sizing and ladies, can we discuss for a moment a few key things. Those of us with substantial breasts... why do all clothing manufacturers want to put a billboard of some type on our chest? And since I am a larger size now and older... it's nice that you want to allow us to show off parts but everything is either a tent or I'm practically naked. And, stop making clothing for larger sizes with material that has zero give. I'm going to rip it even just trying it on! I did find several amazing dresses though that were just perfect... showing off the curves without horribly uncomfortable material. You can always tell the trends happening while going down. The line waiting for a register. This season we are into cloth bandages, obnoxious swizzle sticks for your drinks and pickleball which I am so exhausted hearing about.

Lots of great finds, just not the right sizes. Things were everywhere, floor to wrong racks. Staff…read moremembers in the fitting rooms were super friendly and helpful. Cashiers were also very friendly. Other than those two time, that was the only interactions I had with staff. Still my number 1 place to find shoes.

Brent Collier resembles Bruce Willis. But that's unimportant, we are in Portland and we don't care…read moreabout celebrity. In any event, he would would be the good Bruce Willis, not the bad. What is important in Portland is that Mr. Bruce, I mean Brent Collier has made a career of going to Italy and buying clothing direct, and the same with the NYLA garment districts. He brings it back to little, but creative Portland. Who else does that here? No one. And Collier has an excellent eye. He buys shirts, suits, jackets, sweaters, ties, belts scarves, and more, in small quantities. The quality is stellar, and the price earthbound. I found a great lightweight wool Italian suit at Collier with extra pants at a very, very reasonable price. Let's just say 1/4 to 1/3 the price of any place in the area. Same for some dress shirts which continue to draw compliments. Collier has a wider range of color than some of our stylish male clothing purveyors who hew to black, brown, gray and white. If you want unique suit fabrics at a reasonable price that would qualify you to be in The Sartorialist http://www.thesartorialist.com/, this is the only place in Portland. His former store was the Stockroom, and all the cool kids in town, now grownups, have been patrons for a while. If you need fashion advice or suggestions shopping, Collier can provide that too. Shopping for yourself, or anyone with a fashion sense, shopping for their boy, will be able to communicate their concept to Collier. And with the Wildfang phenomena, girls looking for the next level of boyfriend shirt look might look here. So anyone shopping for anyone looking for style, quality and unique is totally welcome. There might be spots like this in LA, SF or NY, but visitors to Portland shopping have the advantage of no sales tax. He changes the store up regularly, so it's worth checking in periodically. There is also a tailor right there for alterations. If you want style, quality, uniqueness and price in men's clothing; collar shirt, tie, jacket style, and even some sportswear, Collier is the best and most unique place in Portland.
