Their…read morefashion is definitely geared to a younger demographic so there aren't many pieces that work for me. That being said, their black millennial stretch slacks rock! Not only are they incredibly comfortable, they are a true black and retain the color and shape no matter how many times you wash them. They have a good amount of stretch while still hanging nicely with a tailored fit, looser in the lower leg, with a comfortable waist. My only complaint is they need to lose the three hooks and replace with one snap or button. I have several pairs and they are my go to when I want to wear something a little dressier than jeans. Perfect for the office and they are fantastic for travel because they are lightweight, pack well, and don't wrinkle. This season they have a higher waist trouser version which I plan on buying. Torrid also has a lot of beautiful flowing dresses that are fitted in the waist and gently cascade over your hips. I'm a sucker for a good maxi dress and I have bought several. Their bathing suits are extremely supportive, well made and stylish. I've bought a few tankini tops and just love them. I swim laps for an hour every day and go through many suits a year because chlorine destroys them. The tankini top from Torrid has a modern geo pattern (not old lady patterns of ginormous flowers) with thicker material that holds its shape while holding in mine! The lace details at the chest give it a little sexy without being over the top. Gorgeous and wears beautifully. My only gripe is that I wish they did the standard sizing because it's just easier. They have adopted a 0-6 sizing which they say is easier. It's not! Every other store does 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, etc, and because their sizing is generous, it makes the translation challenging. More so when ordering online and you can't try it on. For me, I learned to translate their numbers to the standard and then go one size down. I'm not flattered by the illusion that I've gotten smaller! I could care less about the number, my focus is 100% on the fit regardless of size. This Torrid is conveniently located between a Lane Bryant, where I buy my bras, and Old Navy where I buy all of my compression leggings, so when I'm out this way, I stop in to see what the season brings. Torrid often has sales and I find the online sales are far better than what is in the store. But since I need to try things on and I refuse to pay shipping, I order online and have it shipped to the store for free. If I see something while I'm in in the store that I like, I always go to their website to see the online price, which is typically lower, and they will honor it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean and organized. Plenty of parking out front with other stores close by. Right off I-5 I now visit this store when I'm out in the Lake Oswego area.

The store always honors the online prices. This is true of all Old Navy brick & mortar stores. Here, they do it without hesitation and often the savings are quite large. Also, when ordering online, they give option for in store pick up to avoid the shipping cost. The majority of times, this is the store that has my desired item, in my size, in stock. So easy to make purchase online and request pick up here. The item is bagged and ready for me when I arrive. Parking lot right out front easy access on and off of I-5.

Very frustrating experience at Old Navy in Tualatin, Oregon. The cashier seemed completely unfamiliar with how to process a cash refund and spent several minutes calling for help. When the manager finally came up, she acted inconvenienced and uninterested in assisting. Even with both of them trying to figure it out, the process took around 10 minutes. To make matters worse, | later realized they shorted me $10 on the refund $10 may not seem like a lot of money, but with today's economy and gas prices, every dollar helps. Poor customer service, lack of training, and a frustrating waste of time.

During my last visit, they had some very pretty sweaters, but this year's style is boxy, which doesn't work for my shape. They have a variety of jeans, a nice selection of winter coats and vests, plus there were holiday dresses and pieces on sale. Make sure to check out the clearance in the far back corner. Sprinkled amongst the clothing is some fashion jewelry and gift items. Always worth a stop, as you never know what you will find.

During COVID days, they provide hand sanitizer, clean the counter and credit card machine between every customer, require masks, wear masks and limit your visit to dressing room to one time per customer. This is important to know! You can bring in up to 7 items but you can only use dressing room once per visit. Makes sense as they sanitize the dressing room after each customer, which takes time, and they hold cloths that are tried on for a certain time period before putting back on the floor. Thank you! So it's best to know all of this up front so you are selective on the items you need to try on and only bring those in for your one time access to fitting room Since I came to this store specifically to exchange a bra that I purchased online at an incredible price of $12.97, I made sure to prioritize the potential exchange bras in my count of 7 items. I knew this store was my best option for doing an even exchange, which they will only do with like items, because of their massive Caique department. Turned out to be my luck day as the bras on the final sale rack were buy one get one free. I found two bras for $14.97 so after my exchange, they cost me $2. Amazing deal! The Women working here are friendly, helpful and never made me feel rushed. They always start a room for you and help with sizing, getting different sizes and offering suggestions. I've been buying stuff online from Sundance for both myself and my husband for well over 10 years. Some of our favorite sweaters, coats, and shirts are from Sundance. When I discovered this store in Tigard (I live in Portland), I was thrilled to go there and see the merchandise in person. I wasn't disappointed by the store. It is stunning! If I worked there, I'd spend my salary buying everything. I went there with my husband (or I should say I dragged him there -- he hates shopping). I hadn't intended to buy anything, but I saw a gorgeous sweater (of course) and my sweet husband wanted to purchase it for me for my upcoming birthday. The sales person that helped me and showed me to the dressing room was charming. Things got weird when my husband paid for the sweater. When he handed his American Express card to the person that rang him up (not the same person that helped me), she said that she hadn't seen an American Express card of that color in a long time. We have the green card, the basic American Express card. I guess most of their customers have gold or platinum (or higher level) cards? WTH? I made a joke that turquoise is my favorite color. (I think the green American Express card looks turquoise.) Anyway, I'll let you decide what her intent was. For me, that comment was insulting. We won't be back. But the clothing here is expensive; for example, the wide leg Jersey pants are in the $229 range. For me, that's expensive! I used to wear these pieces when I traveled weekly for my job. Often I flew across the country or overseas and when i arrived at my destination, I was picked up and taken directly to a business meeting. Yes, that was my previous life! Wearing the travel pants and a jacket from Eileen Fisher ensured that I was polished and presentable upon arrival. Now that I don't travel for business meetings, I stop in the boutique once in a while to look at the new inventory but rarely do I purchase. I prefer more form fitting clothes with cuts that flatter, in colors, and clothing that is more unique. The boutique is bright, clean and well organized as one would expect at a high end shop. It is on the smaller size, but since it's dedicated to just the Eileen Fisher Brand, there is still a broad selection. They're pricey but worth it when you find a brand that works for you. My husband likes their style and how functional it is. Good quality with unique graphic tees. He loves their Ridge pant. Fits him well, durable, lots of pockets, and comes in great colors. Every time we've shopped here, each staff member has been super helpful and friendly. They always ask if we need a different color or size and they check in the back. They have so much inventory that we usually end up being able to get what we need from the back when they look.
