Very poor Initial Impression. IMO the owner needs to be more friendly even if she has to pretend. Those of us who come to your store to sell some of our clothes are ALSO potential buyers in your store. I felt I was treated rudely by the owner. I completely understand if none of my clothes were sellable in your store- it is your store and you know what sells, but there is zero reason to be dismissive and rude. Very disappointing especially when we are trying to support a local Mom/Pop business. In today's economy IMO HOW you treat someone is as important as WHAT you sell and how you sell it. read more

I love shopping at Musi's On Main! Most of my wardrobe is from Musi's and they have a great selection in the men's department too. My husband's best outfits all came from Musi's at a fraction of what he would've spent at a department store. Musi has a great selection of gently used high end vintage clothes, shoes and handbags. There are also great deals to be found on top notch workout clothes including Nike, Columbia and Lulu. I usually head to the back first, since you will find the greatest mark downs there. This is absolutely the cutest little store in the world! Such a cool vibe when you walk in. So creative..it looks beautiful and it smells yummy, all items are quality with affordable pricing. Definately appealing to all senses :) Musi has been in business for 14+ years...so amazing these days to find a small local business with such a wide range of items and so much knowledge about all of them. Had our lovely sales associate not told me this was a consignment store, I may have never guessed. Every item looked brand new and in immaculate shape! My wife and I were visiting the farmer's market across the street and noticed that this store was open. So we wandered in to see what treasures we might find. We found plenty! The front of the store is for the newer inventory-the items that wouldn't last very long, our associate said. (I wished I had gotten her name-she was so friendly and helpful.) There is a good amount of women's clothing, shoes and accessories. There is a small selection of things for men too-mostly business or "dressy" attire. The further back you go on the store, the more discounted items you'll find. We walked away spending under $200 for items that I'm sure would have cost a lot more than that brand new. And they were all in excellent condition. It's a good thing I'm not local, or I'd find myself in this store frequently, and probably spending a good deal of my paycheck each month as I find new "must-have" items. read more

Outstanding. I have walked by the store front a few times and was intrigued - but it also appeared a little too high end or maybe stuffy. Not necessarily the personnel but the items. Anyway, I have had a pretty good experience at my neighborhood resale shop that was more than it appeared - Katelyn's Closet in Multnomah. I had clipped a coupon from my parents Entertainment Book for 20% off. Why not see what I can find? The store is laid out great. Easy to shop, the first half of the store is generally higher end, notable labels, but prices are legit. One of a kind jewelry pieces. Nicely merchandised. One winter coat was $600. Gasp! I wondered - will I even find something in here? I continued through the store and it's much deeper than it appears and all the way to the back are home decor goods - fun stuff, greeting cards. It's quite a place. I saw these really cute Green Pants that I thought I'd try on. The woman running the shop offered a Mimosa. How cool and unexpected. Jeans were too big, but I saw this funky, furry coat that was $24 and very stylish - no fancy label but I thought it was a score and with my coupon. Grey fur with Black, Leather Jacket Accents. Musi's on Main is a cute little women's consignment store in old town Tigard. Last year I picked up some beautiful little Marc Jacobs heels for $38 and a J Crew coverup on the sale rack for $10. They have had a decent selection of boots the 2-3 times been here, which I appreciate. They carry a lot of high end shoes and have a fair selection of designer jeans (the jeans are a touch overpriced in my opinion) Their handbag selection is good, I have seen brands like Coach and Marc Jacobs. The also have a small selection of formal dresses and vintage clothes. Like all consignment shops it really depends on the day or season, so you can not really go in looking for a specific item. However, being in my late 20's many of the styles here read a bit older to me (keep in mind I wear rompers). Not out of date or frumpy, more like upper-middle class Mom of 2, I am just not quite there yet with my fashion preferences. But for bags and shoes I think this place is a gem and will return when I am in the area. read more

I snubbed this shop for a couple of years, just because I thought, "Upscale Consignment? In Tigard?" Boy, was I wrong! So glad I decided to walk in one day! Musi has a great heart and knows her stuff. Displays are amazing and merchandise is exactly what I want: clean, brand new and/or like-new condition. For example, I purchased an Eileen Fisher sweater (brand new with tags from Nordstrom) for $78. Nordstrom was still carrying that sweater at time, priced at $258. I love that I don't have to inspect the merchandise to make sure there are no hidden rips, soils, etc...I know when I purchase from Musi's, they've done all that for me. Betty and Michelle are fantastic at helping out and their expertise has me to buy more than I intended! :-) They work extremely hard to make shopping a fun experience, plus ask them for coffee, tea, water, wine etc... OH, and check them out for third Friday's, when there's a special discount, hor d'oeuvres and drinks. Absolutely great shop with fantastic people! read more

I tried to sell my jeans here, all true religion, citizen of humanity, seven jeans, etc. they were practically new, no holes, rips or stains. The lady was so rude to me, told me they are all about presentation and I shouldn't bring my clothes in a bag, it doesn't make a good impression. She then said, "even though you're presented nicely" as if it matters what I look like??? She told me all clothes need to pressed and ironed and on hangers or she can't accept them because they want things to look clean. Which they were. Regardless, she said she wouldn't have accepted any them anyways until her boss was in so I'd have to come back tomorrow. Count me out! Don't want your business. read more

Fantastic re-sale shop. Everything in the store is well organized and easy to find. Prices are great for the quality of product that is being sold. There are usually treats by the front door (chocolate, water, etc.) to make the shopping experience feel enjoyable and relaxing. This is the first place I check if I want a new work outfit, an evening dress, or a new pair of leather boots. You probably won't find a better deal for designer clothes.
