This place is definitely a case of "don't judge a book by its cover." Set in an industrial park that's near 217 and Hall Blvd, it looks pretty unassuming from the front. However, this place has multiple rooms that are full of different kind of items: furniture, kitchen supplies, jewelry, clothes, books, tools, and everything in between. What I loved: - The customer service! Super nice people operating this place - Everything was really nicely laid out, which made looking through everything easier - The quality of the items seemed nicer, almost like they are selective about what they take - Prices we're reasonable for the quality. I scored an almost brand-new piece of luggage for $30. Only took a star off because I wish the clothes section was a bit bigger, but the items they do have are really nice!

I was thankful to discover this ministry-minded store. A sweet lady greeted me and oriented me to the Good Sam shop and their purpose to support kids in Uganda to attend school. It was set up lovely for the holiday and other themes. They give their shop lots of TLC. They had a 50% off sale on blankets, comforters, etc., so I assume there are other sales that pop up. I found some beautiful "treasures" and will return!

It's only sold at Costco for about $200. It's been discontinued so it's impossible to find new. They had it brand new still sealed! We were in town visiting so we had to mail it home. Worth every penny. We were only in Portland for 4-5 days and came three different times. Highly recommend.

I am not a Spring cleaner... I usually do a very deep, epic, autumn clean. Part of me heading into…read morethe colder months is trying to let things go. This year it was a pretty huge purge of my wardrobe. I had to relearn how to walk a few years ago and changed sizes and styles completely based on a lot of factors. I was holding onto an insane amount of clothing because things changed so fast. I had set up a dressing room space based on just being able to get ready since I was paralyzed, unable to stand or pivot so a standard closet was inaccessible for me. Over the years, I am standing and walking again and needed to rework the space. I was overwhelmed with tons of clothing and even storage bins and such that needed to go to a new home. It was so much stuff! I have a small car so ideal is being able to load it up with a quick drop off since I do not have the space to hold onto a bunch of bags of things. Dropping off about five bags of clothing was so fast and easy! This location has a great and very easy drive through for donations with very friendly people to help you! Just remember no hazardous stuff - you should definitely take a peek at the website to make certain they will be able to take what you are bringing. Also do not forget to grab a donation card to itemize for your taxes (donations are tax deductible). I motivate myself to extra purge this time of the year as a tax deduction which helps me.
