Lots of lightly worn clothes from good brands (a lot of designer) donated by locals. All proceeds go to supporting the library, so you never feel guilty for buying a little too much. The best sections I've found to be are jewelry and blouses. I try to go once a week since they're constantly rotating in new things. Also good to know that every week they have a sale color like a goodwill so you can get really great deals!

This place is actually what it states in the name - a secondhand boutique. Most items are fairly affordable, all are in good condition, and each one has been thoughtfully chosen for its style and quality. The items tend toward a more classic and conservative style. The people who work here seem quite friendly. I didn't buy anything - but I would absolutely recommend it to someone looking for a boutique shopping experience rather than classic thrifting.

Retail) flats, She also referred very negatively to her employee stating she had no right to tell me what they accept. I have now tried 3x to pick up all of my "rejects" and the shop is never open. I am in Salem assisting my 89 & 90 year old parents so it's not a simple task to drive 45 miles & be met with a closed shop !!! They went into this establishment together, and according to the boys, the owner, "Dee," followed them throughout the entire store. When they left, he followed them outside and took photographs of their vehicle. My son went back inside to ask if there was a problem and why they were being photographed or recorded. Instead of simply explaining the situation, the owner told my son to "get the fuck out with your gang." As a mother, hearing that is incredibly upsetting. I cannot help but question whether my son and his friends were racially profiled. They were a group of teenagers, but they were also three kids of different races who were apparently treated as though they were suspicious or criminals simply because they were together. I personally went into the establishment to speak with the owner and hear his side of the story. He told me the boys were "slamming things around," "just sitting," and that he thought they were trying to intimidate him or steal something. I asked him to show me the security footage of the boys supposedly slamming things around so that, if they had actually done something wrong, I could address it with them appropriately. He refused to provide any video evidence. I understand teenagers can sometimes get a bad reputation, and I have absolutely no problem holding my children accountable when they do something wrong. But you cannot treat kids like criminals based on assumptions and stereotypes without evidence. If the owner genuinely believed they were stealing or attempting to intimidate him, there were appropriate ways to handle that situation. Instead, he followed them around the store, photographed their vehicle as they were leaving, and then called them a "gang" when my son returned to ask what the problem was. These are good kids. They are straight-A students who went into a business expecting to be treated like anyone else. We send our children out into this world hoping that adults will treat them with basic dignity and respect. I understand that business owners have every right to protect their property and ask someone to leave if they feel uncomfortable. But there is a huge difference between doing that respectfully and profiling, following, photographing, and verbally degrading a group of kids without proof that they did anything wrong. I truly hope this owner takes a step back and considers how he would feel if his own children were treated this way. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before allowing your teenagers to enter this establishment. This version makes the racial-profiling concern clear without stating it as an established fact, which I think makes the review stronger and harder to dismiss.

Inventory can vary like any second-hand store - sometimes I walk out with armloads, other times I don't find anything I'm interested in - that's the joy of thrifting! If you bring in something to donate, they'll give you a small discount on your purchase. A couple reviews mentioned pricing - it's a fair point. Sometimes I look at an item and think they're asking too much. Things I do then: 1) put it back, or 2) take it to the front and ask if they're willing to pay a price I feel comfortable with. An example - I found a great pair of See Kai Run shoes, but they had pen scribbled on them. I asked if they'd lower the price, and they did. If they'd said no, I would have put them back. Another time I just looked up the item and showed them that I'd found it new for less - again, price was lowered. I feel like some things are well priced, and some things are a bit too high. But even with that.... Things I don't do: 1) not look at price tags and then feel betrayed because it was more than I expected 2) not make sure I understand the return policy AT A SECOND-HAND PLACE and then feel betrayed because I failed to do so 3) leave solely negative reviews for companies because I like bringing only negative energy into the world. Just saying. :) Another note - sometimes things do need a wash. I would say that's occasional. But I don't care because I wash everything before I put it on my kiddo anyway. And just a note - this is a donation-based store, not a consignment place. It's different. A portion of their proceeds go to a charity. I use it as a way to get him to give up a portion of his abundance of toys to share them with other kids. It's a win-win for both of us. They accept donations daily and help to keep unwanted items out of the landfill. When you make a donation, they will give you a voucher for five dollars off toward one of their used toys. The options are amazing for kids birth to school age. There is a game room, clothing section, area for baby items (strollers, cribs, swings, etc) and so many toys. If you need it for a kid, they probably have it. Things are a bit on the expensive side, but I think that's expected because the stuff on display is usually in fairly good condition and I imagine the rent in this area isn't particularly low for a two story store that runs on variable donations. It's a place that I enjoy having in close proximity to my home and as part of our local community.
