I like the sort of sprawling and overfilled place where you might have to dig through a lot of junk, but you may be rewarded with a piece of exceptionally inexpensive treasure. This place is actually what it states in the name - a secondhand boutique. Most items are fairly affordable, all are in good condition, and each one has been thoughtfully chosen for its style and quality. The items tend toward a more classic and conservative style. The people who work here seem quite friendly. I didn't buy anything - but I would absolutely recommend it to someone looking for a boutique shopping experience rather than classic thrifting.

The prices were insanely good, I got a medieval-looking satchel there for only $30 which is unheard of. The level of detail on the items they sell is phenomenal. The employees were polite and mostly just worked on whatever projects they were doing while still greeting people and answering questions. Lots of lightly worn clothes from good brands (a lot of designer) donated by locals. All proceeds go to supporting the library, so you never feel guilty for buying a little too much. The best sections I've found to be are jewelry and blouses. I try to go once a week since they're constantly rotating in new things. Also good to know that every week they have a sale color like a goodwill so you can get really great deals!

My relationship with Paloma, has changed from a shop where I looked at pretty things, as a little girl with my grandmother - to a staple. Paloma is my go-to place when I am seeking something special and unique for the loved ones in my life. Paloma never lets me down with their expansive collections of accessories, bags, locally made jewelry, and high quality US made clothing lines, such as: Cut Loose and Tianello. Being rather petite, the clothing at Paloma is not always available in my size. However, the pieces I have bought for myself, are some of my favorites. On the other hand, the jewelry is where I really go a bit overboard for myself. I can't resist the exceptional selection of handmade rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. At first glance you may think Paloma to be a stuffy boutique, but the shop gals are ever so helpful, and friendly. I had worried bringing my kids into the shop would be frowned upon. This is not the case. I've discovered I am welcome to bring the kids in with me. Paloma even has a basket full of toys to keep the little ones busy. In my case, this means I make it into the shop much more frequently than I did before. One last thing: Paloma is an active supporter of community it serves.
