But the issue wasn't just that he was busy it was the lack of basic check-ins. When we finally were able to get him, he seemed rushed and hard to keep around long enough to communicate everything we needed. We had to ask for the grill to be changed, and even that took effort. He didn't ask if we were splitting the bill (which we were planning to do), and before we even had a chance to say anything, he dropped the receipt and said something along the lines of "here you go, you can pay when you're ready," and walked away immediately. That was pretty much the tone of every interaction quick, dismissive, and gone. Again, the food is great, and that's the only reason I'd consider coming back. But for the price you're paying, the level of service just doesn't match. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect some level of attentiveness, especially when it comes to things like refills, check-ins, and basic communication.
