Mini cinnamon buns
Kim A.

What a gem!!! This place has the most amazing breakfast. Everything was fresh and made to order. My husband and I stumbled upon it during a visit to the Tide pools. My husband had the veggie deluxe sandwich, a side of hash and fresh squeezed OJ. I ordered the Irish sandwich (hash), a cinnamon bun and iced coffee. Everything was delicious. The veggies were so fresh, the baked goods (included the bread) took the prize. Mary Dee the owner was lovely to chat with. Took home a slice of lemon cake, a cookie and have a sheet pan of cinnamon rolls. Definitely worth the visit. Go early before she sells out of buns. We missed out on the sticky buns but gives us a reason to go back!!!

Arrived at noon and the sticky buns were long gone. There were 2 cinnamon rolls left so we got one. Had it heated up. Melted in your mouth. I think the key is to arrive early as the sticky buns and cinnamon rolls are coming straight out of the oven to your plate. Then they really would melt in your mouth. Oh well, learn from your mistakes.

BLT on Toasted Oatmeal bread

The simple exterior is deceptive. The interior is plain, yet the food made from scratch and is very good. We were on a jaunt to explore the area around Christmas Cove and were feeling peckish. The menu was simple and we ordered two sandwich plates (You can order a half or a whole sandwich for most selections), a BLT on Oatmeal bread (which was moist and tasty) and a house speciality called "Fred's Favorite," comprised of roasted chicken, stuffing and cranberry sauce (also on the same delicious Oatmeal bread). Both sandwiches were served with a pickle and a small bag of crisps. While the lunch was delicious and quite filling, we decided to have a piece of the chocolate raspberry cake for dessert. It too was delicious. If you find yourself in the area of New Harbor, stop by 137 Huddle Road. You will be glad you did. The only thing I would change is to add regular water glasses of some sort. Having to refill the Dixie cups at the water cooler during our meal was a bit of an inconvenience. Still, for food this good, at such a fair price, we can overlook the Dixie cups. Our next visit will be for breakfast!

I'll be thinking about this breakfast sandwich for a very long time. Everything was perfectly cooked and the eggs were the freshest I've ever had. I wish I didn't live out of state because I would be a die hard regular.

Amazing, fresh quality food and a beautiful space! I had the California turkey special on homemade oatmeal bread and it was absolutely delicious. There are very few cafe choices in this area, and I am happy to see that such a lovely little spot is here!

Delicious! We will be back! We tried cinnamon rolls, and two kinds of muffins. All were fantastic!

Incredible local spot for breakfast and coffee. The food here is really next level and a must go if you're in the area.

When is The Cupboard opening back up with their normal hours?? The Cupboard is the highlight of my Maine trips!

Probably not until next summer, unfortunately.

I was already in a foul mood, walking in here set me into straight sensory overload. It's a bar where they sing. I am unable to get inebriated enough to enjoy bars where they sing any longer. Call me miserable, maybe I suppose. In addition to the merry old fella belting it out on the mic, we had the joy of having some drunk guy in a large group behind us try and out sing him without a microphone. He even challenged the old guy singing to a form of a duel. Anyway I was so off, I cannot remember anything about my server at all. Nothing. I do remember almost screaming and running out. I sat there trying not to lose it while my wife had the time of her life. Every song made it worse, everyone else is singing, I am dying. When the guy took a break, guess what, dickhead from the crowd goes up and takes over. Shots helped at this point and the weed is kicking in well at this point. Now I'm hungry... My food was inedible and I'm pretty sure incomplete as well. The worst flatbread in the history of flatbreads. C's looked pretty good actually so I am sure her experience was quite different than mine. I hope to never return. '25 - extra
