I can't speak highly enough about this place! My friends and I were up in Maine for the weekend and came here for Sunday brunch. We had to wait for a bit to get a table, but they gave us a buzzer and we hung out at the picnic tables outside. All the food was absolutely spectacular. The menu had all the classics, had a hard time deciding what to order! I had the swimming hole hash, which was delicious. The kielbasa was nicely browned and added a heartiness to the dish. Go for one of their homemade bread options for sure! My friends all enjoyed their meals (high praise for the pancakes and French toast especially). Not only was the food amazing, but the people were great too - the staff and customers alike! Everyone was really friendly and in good spirits. If I'm ever in the area again, I will have to come back!

Randomly ordered kielbasa and eggs complimented by a fluffy grilled biscuit!

Planning a trip to the lighthouse at Pemaquid?!? Take a moment and stop for a memorable breakfast at Deb's Bristol Diner for authentic home cooking! The local feel and warm hospitality are the perfect combination, topped off by excellent service make Deb's so special. The warm biscuits and melt in your mouth cinnamon buns are the best I have had in years! Pro tip order a cinnamon bun when you sit down to share with your company while enjoying hot bottomless

This cafe is as cute as a button and as big as a minute. I loved chatting with Deb at the counter, and would come back in a heartbeat for the corned beef hash. 100% from scratch and so darn good!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal and cozy vibes.

Really good blueberry pancakes at Deb's! The side of bacon was good but overpriced so we dock one star for that. But would definitely return for more of those pancakes!

Food and service were wonderful. The pancakes were so light and fluffy, and with fresh strawberries - yum ! Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing food. Homemade, and Deb really exists as she was coming in with a freshly baked pumpkin pie that I got a slice of!

Bummer they don't open until May 6, two days from now. Continuing our drive north we came across the famous Moody's Diner that's known for their pies & down home cooking. They cook their own turkey so a turkey club is a must. For me it was either a 1/2 # lobster roll or a Percy burger with Swiss, onion & mushrooms. The burger was the juiciest burger I've ever had & I had a hard time getting it around my mouth. I managed to eat 3/4 of it & took the rest back to our B&B for later. We also had a side of awesome onion rings. If you've never been go eat & enjoy Maine cooking & hospitality. A factoid: They serve over 55,000 pieces of pie a year. Off to Whitehall B&B to rest up, go sightseeing & have an extraordinary dinner the night before our 37th anniversary. I forgot look at the size of this oatmeal raisin cookie we bought. Biggest cookie I've ever seen. BTW: Kris ordered a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie, she didn't like it. I passed on dessert.

These historic must-stop stays busy all year round with patrons of locals and tourists alike. You walk in and you'll see history and family photos. We've been driving here for many years and never stopped, and today we finally did! We came in at 1:15 p.m. and there was still a wait, around 20-30 minutes. We were going to have their famous dishes but opted to get breakfast instead. I enjoyed my 3 eggs over easy with sausage and a side of bacon, and BF had his with ham and blueberry pancakes. You can never mess up breakfast, which we are looking forward to going back and trying other dishes, specifically the biscuits and gravy, my ultimate American comfort food, and I'd be the judge. The server was nice and attentive, and breakfast came out in 10 minutes. Prices are reasonable.

We were given a 15 minute wait which was quickly cut to 5 minutes by a friendly front-of-house worker, but that was the end of the good experience. We were immediately given coffee and water, coffee is bottomless, but $2.50 and served before seeing the menu, which can be annoying if you're used to your diner coffee coming with breakfast. We both ordered the cheap breakfast combo, which was $10 + $2 additional charge for your choice of meat. Our eggs were undercooked, (runny whites) our toast was burnt, my hash-browns were cold and clearly from a freezer bag. My additional $2 earned me 2 very thin slices of bacon. We were not impressed by the food, but I was downright annoyed when the $24 bill I expected arrived at a smooth $32. In our bill they included a fun hidden 1% service fee for the "back of house" which I incorrectly assumed would not be needed considering the existence of payroll... To top off my frustrations the servers were loud behind the counter the whole time we were there, and the suggested tips on the receipt started at 20%!! - What an insult to the customers intelligence. These are Sysco scammers trying to take about 30% more than the customer wants to pay at every turn for extremely poor quality breakfast food. Should have cooked in the airBnB, would have saved money and had a more satisfying experience.

The free street parking right outside the restaurant was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Just as surprising was the overpriced and just-okay food. I gotta say, both the inside and outside vibe of the place are a bit misaligned with the menu and food quality, and also the prices. We arrived at around noon and the menu unfortunately didn't look any breakfast items as they stopped those at 11am. Instead, our options were burgers, sandwiches, and dinner plates. The menu was quite extensive and creative -- it wasn't your typical diner menu (Asian noodles?!) -- but also, prices were steep for a place like this. A cheeseburger was $16+, with an extra $1 charge for tomato and onion. The sandwiches were more expensive and just included chips -- fries were an up-charge. Honestly, just the prices alone were a turn off. My burger -- I ordered the one with brie and jam on it -- was so underwhelming. Not even an exciting cheese like brie could save it. What a shame because it really did seem like such a cool spot!
