I can't speak highly enough about this place! My friends and I were up in Maine for the weekend and came here for Sunday brunch. We had to wait for a bit to get a table, but they gave us a buzzer and we hung out at the picnic tables outside. All the food was absolutely spectacular. The menu had all the classics, had a hard time deciding what to order! I had the swimming hole hash, which was delicious. The kielbasa was nicely browned and added a heartiness to the dish. Go for one of their homemade bread options for sure! My friends all enjoyed their meals (high praise for the pancakes and French toast especially). Not only was the food amazing, but the people were great too - the staff and customers alike! Everyone was really friendly and in good spirits. If I'm ever in the area again, I will have to come back!

Randomly ordered kielbasa and eggs complimented by a fluffy grilled biscuit!

Planning a trip to the lighthouse at Pemaquid?!? Take a moment and stop for a memorable breakfast at Deb's Bristol Diner for authentic home cooking! The local feel and warm hospitality are the perfect combination, topped off by excellent service make Deb's so special. The warm biscuits and melt in your mouth cinnamon buns are the best I have had in years! Pro tip order a cinnamon bun when you sit down to share with your company while enjoying hot bottomless

This cafe is as cute as a button and as big as a minute. I loved chatting with Deb at the counter, and would come back in a heartbeat for the corned beef hash. 100% from scratch and so darn good!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal and cozy vibes.

Really good blueberry pancakes at Deb's! The side of bacon was good but overpriced so we dock one star for that. But would definitely return for more of those pancakes!

Food and service were wonderful. The pancakes were so light and fluffy, and with fresh strawberries - yum ! Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing food. Homemade, and Deb really exists as she was coming in with a freshly baked pumpkin pie that I got a slice of!

Bummer they don't open until May 6, two days from now. Continuing our drive north we came across the famous Moody's Diner that's known for their pies & down home cooking. They cook their own turkey so a turkey club is a must. For me it was either a 1/2 # lobster roll or a Percy burger with Swiss, onion & mushrooms. The burger was the juiciest burger I've ever had & I had a hard time getting it around my mouth. I managed to eat 3/4 of it & took the rest back to our B&B for later. We also had a side of awesome onion rings. If you've never been go eat & enjoy Maine cooking & hospitality. A factoid: They serve over 55,000 pieces of pie a year. Off to Whitehall B&B to rest up, go sightseeing & have an extraordinary dinner the night before our 37th anniversary. I forgot look at the size of this oatmeal raisin cookie we bought. Biggest cookie I've ever seen. BTW: Kris ordered a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie, she didn't like it. I passed on dessert.

My experience at Moodys was that quintessential diner experience, the older staff slightly surly (which is fine!) and the younger staff enthusiastic and kind. Times have become slightly challenging, given all of the winning we have experience of late and so my assumption is in order to have competitive and palatable pricing for locals and travelers, management has had to adjust to the times. One of us had pancakes with blueberries and two of us plain pancakes tasted to me to be products of a mix or missing that richness I so enjoy in diner fare. I had an egg, bacon, and cheese muffin - very fair priced mind you - oiled muffin and slice of "cheese". This is a wonderful place to experience a nice mix of local and traveling folk.

An old rail car sitting on the corner. It is a small and unassuming spot. You step in and it is a very tiny place. Your typical diner set up. Counter seating and booths opposite them. And the window to get the food from the kitchen. They don't have a gluten free menu, but they are well aware of small changes they can make or take away to fit the dietary needs. I went with the South of the Border Burger. No bun, pepperjack cheese and chili. They all blended together so well. The slight spice of the chili and cheese was a great topping mixture for the beef patty. The fries were right in the middle of crispy and soft. The North of the border burger was, "very tasty. Awesome flavor!" Which is a good review from my Dad who isn't much for extra on details. My brother got the Korean BBQ sliders special (not on menu pictures provided). The flavors were awesome. Lucky the kimchi came on the side, my brother wasn't too keen on the fermented cabbage. My mom had the curried chicken wrap, no wrap. So the kitchen made it a salad for her. Sh loves salad and curry. So why not put them together for a dish she really loved. The staff were all extremely friendly. They seemed to know a lot of the patrons coming in. We had a fun time reminiscing about the Guy Fieri visit and other Maine celebrities that have stopped in. If I'm ever out this way again, I would love to come back. Excellent food. Excellent service.
