It seems like you could get almost everything you need right here. They offered sweet morning pastries, there was a selection of cakes and desserts to bring back to our accommodations for later, and they offered a cooked breakfast and lunch (and brunch!) menu. The coffee was great, and we took some beans home. If you live locally, I read that they also offer free used coffee grinds to take home to your garden. My favorite part of the cafe, is that the donut flavors rotate, making things very interesting. I absolutely loved my little lemon poppyseed donut, but when the warm cinnamon sugar ones came right out of the oven, they absolutely stole the show. The burger for lunch was delightful, and the quiche was quite lovely as well. Highly recommend stopping in, no matter the occasion you will leave feeling refreshed with a wonderful bite to eat.

My coffee was on par with what I expect from a coffee shop of this caliber. Now the food, was surprisingly good because it's hard to find a coffee shop that has great coffee and good food. My friend decided to get a coffee and I got a tea. The ambiance was very 'boba tea shop' if that makes sense, with clean visuals and plants everywhere. There was a spot for what seemed to be live music. The barista seemed very new, and was taking *SO LONG* to help customers. We waited for about 45 minutes, and had we known that we would have went somewhere else, honestly. It was just before they closed so they were out of everything, we assumed was why they were out... All of the food they make is made from scratch, which I appreciated. The tea and latte coffee drink was mediocre for the wait, so that was a little disappointing..

I took a virtual call from here and there was a lovely sofa and private space in the back and they had wifi. Wonderful spot, quality drinks!

Overall, Riverside Cafe & Lodge is a decent stop if you're nearby and want to enjoy the scenery. With more consistency in food quality and faster service, it could be much better.
