I went here October 18,2025 my first time here as I passed here randomly trying to go home and this bakery caught my eye and I did a last minute stop. Good thing there was a green spot for limited parking and walked back a couple of blocks to the bakery. I was surprised they focused on focaccia bread ! Yummy! The only one I been going to was the far and famous North Beach one. Well if this is an alternative for me to travel the opposite direction, then I wouldn't mind to have other direction because parking is more available. I remember there was a couple in front of me buying the goods and let me know which were their favorites as I told everyone wow, my first time what to get? lol only one person working the front at first and he was nice telling me about the company being a year old. I bought like 4 slabs of focaccia bread . I was able to half of each to try more flavors. For sure I bought whole tomato , Half of the green onion, half of the meat and peppers, and half of the combination. Yup I walked away happy with my bounty. :) Would I return? It's a small, cute bakery with takeout only. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer any questions about the different options. This was my second time getting the focaccia, and I had honestly been thinking about it since my last visit, it's that good. It's incredibly fresh, perfectly doughy, and topped with a great variety of options. I tried the mushroom and the artichoke, and both were delicious. You can order half or full orders and they will cut it up into slices if desired. They also pre-order for pickup, which is super convenient. If you want foccacia and don't want to go down to sf, Cuneo is your best bet. This tiny bakery has been around for years but I never heard about them until a social media post. I made an order via Toast to be picked up on Saturday. Unfortunately, there was a hiccup in Toast so my order was not fulfilled when I got there at 10. Double unfortunate, some of the items I ordered were already sold out! Who I can assume is the owner was profusely apologetic about the hiccup and we proceeded to make do with what they had in stock. I got two green onion and one mushroom foccacia, two bags of biscotti, a pesto tomatoes croissant, a lemon and cheese danish and a raspberry and cheese danish. The foccacia were good! I toasted it this morning and the bottoms were crunchy. They do not skimp on the toppings. The toppings also did not all out. I definitely preferred the green onion, it was simply divine. I ate the lemon and cream cheese danish yesterday. That was yummy so we're the biscottis. They are sort and ginormous not the break your teeth hard ones at Costco. Service was excellent. Bakery is clean but this is take out only. They are located in the back of Grand Ave. Small storefront so you may miss it if you're driving by. Definitely give them a try! read more

We went here on Saturday morning and they had a variety of focaccia options! It was a cute little shop that I wouldn't have noticed at first but glad I walked in. I picked up a full size of the green onion and mushroom focaccias. I really enjoyed both but liked the mushroom more! Definitely want to come back to try the pesto, it was sold out by the time I ordered. The guys working behind the counter were very nice and helpful! Excited to try the other focaccia options~ As far as parking goes, there weren't in front the shop but you can definitely find street parking around the corner on either Cypress or Linden. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time, but the lack of customer parking has held me back. However, today I got a ride and finally got to experience it. It was clean and presentable inside. Although i didn't see a menu or pricing for items. Biscotti's are available as well unsure how much. It did not let me down! I checked Yelp and saw they were offering a 3/$20 deal, but when I arrived, I found out it ended last week. Fortunately, the gentleman who I think is the owner was kind enough to honor the deal for me and was very nice to breakdown the flavors. I wish they had a gluten free focaccia offerings as well. They have a wide variety of flavors available while supplies last, and you can place special orders for unique toppings. The focaccia was the best I've ever had, and it tasted even better after being warmed in the oven for a little crispiness. It's like eating pizza but less messy, with just the right amount of toppings and a lot of flavor! I will return.. Cute little bakery in SSF a block off of Grand Ave. I've seen this place on Yelp and have been wanting to try their focaccia breads. I stopped by around 11 a.m. on a Saturday morning and only found four flavors left. They offer half or full sheets so I got three fulls, artichoke, rosemary and sausage/mushroom. They can cut them into slices for you (4, 6 or 8). All three were pretty delicious even though it's still not close to our favorite place down in North Beach. This is a close second though and much easier to get to than all the way in SF. The person who helped me, Maria, was extremely nice. She gave me a list of all the available flavors they offer and told me to call ahead next time so I can get the flavors I want. Online ordering is not currently available but something they are working on. Side note - the focaccia is really fresh so be sure to only buy what you're able to eat the same day. Love Cuneo Bakery for its family friendly vibe. The bakery has been passed through generations and you can taste the love they put into their bakery items whether it's the pizza bread or their other bakery items. Ordered a bunch of pizza bread for a church event and Edward was so helpful and working with his mom Maria is the best. I brought a friend with me to pick up the order and they were super sweet about offering to help us carry it out. This is a great place to get your pizza bread and some pastries! Cuneo Bakery makes some of the best focaccia I've had, up there with the classic Liguria. It's delicious on its own, fluffy inside with just the right chew and a golden, flavorful crust. But what really makes it special is how versatile it is! This place is new and I found this place while searching for bakeries close to my home. I did not like the street parking situation, but found a close by meter and paid a quarter for parking. The bakery was clean and small, but the cashier was friendly! There is no seating at all. The bakery prices were very reasonable. I bough half focaccia for $4, full size portion is $8. J also purchased a strawberry scone! I like scones because they are not overly sweet! This place did not disappoint! The focaccia was delicious and very flavorful. They had a variety to choose from. The bread was light and airy! The strawberry scone was dense, but has pieces of strawberry popping out of it. Love this local spot and excited that in August they opened a little store front to their bakery. Their focaccia and crossiants are made fresh and have a nice chew to them. There is no better bakery in the Bay Area. Maybe in all of California. If you haven't been, it's a must if you are in the area. The products they bake use handcrafted authentic Italian recipes passed down through generations, and they use very high quality ingredients. They have an excellent variety too, but it's competitive in the morning and afternoon. The good stuff sells out quick most days, but they always have something for everybody, so the earlier you can get in the more choices you'll have, of course. Even their esspresso is delicious, I usually get a latte with a pepperoni or ham and cheese croissant. Maybe a chocolate chip cookie or two as well. Their foccacia bread is their staple product, again I love pepperoni but they truly have something for everybody toppings-wise. Their croissants and authetic sourdough loaves are truly some of the best I've ever tasted. They can even cut the loaves for you right there on the spot if you'd like. If you are a fan of real sourdough like me, you have to try their Epi or traditional baguette. If you like REAL breadsticks, they have grissini available too - not the soft floppy breadsticks you get at olive garden, but authentic, crunchy breadsticks, with salt, rosemary, sesame or just plain. It's a great snack with dip or hummus, and they sell a pretty wide variety of biscotti too! You can dip it in your coffee to soften it up. My mom's favorite is pistachio and my go-to is the chocolate/vanilla marble. It's packaged nicely too if you wanted to get it as a little gift for a friend or family member. The prices are EXTREMELY fair, especially compared to other places in San Francisco that upcharge and get away with it. Here you can actually get top notch quality product and feel like you got a good deal at a farmer's market. If you have a sweet tooth they have pastries, scones, cookies, you name it, again at a super fair price. The same product in another area could cost twice as much easily, and I've lived in the Bay my entire life so trust me, I've compared. If you like family owned small businesses, and want to support locally, this is the place to go. The Cuneo staff is all family and Cuneo itself is a genuine cornerstone in South San Francisco history. South City is busy and bustling, but once you walk in the environment is cozy and welcoming. They play relaxing jazz/italian music throughout the day, and the young men running the storefront are extremely kind and helpful if you have any questions. It's worth finding parking and walking over if you can. They make all their product in house AND run the store, so they are very knowledgeable if you have any inquiries or special requests, such as a custom foccacia order or need some catering for an event. I can't recommend Cuneo Bakery enough if you are in the area, and if you just want to try it out you don't have to break the bank - just grab a little treat and find out for yourself how good it is. The place is small and clean. Parking is not great but I managed to find something in the late afternoon. Edward was very patient with me when I was trying to figure out what to order. I got the green onion focaccia and mushroom, garlic, rosemary focaccia, and almond cake. All were soooo delicious and authentic. I wished there was a location closer to me so I can try all the pastries and the focaccia flavors every week. It's so hard to find authentic great focaccia. :) Everything is at a great price too; super reasonable. The green onion focaccia tastes similar to focaccia I use to get in SF, but this place is more reasonable price, has more options, stays open later, and actually has a good amount of stock available with great pastries. There's so much to try. The almond cake was really yummy too. Super moist and the almond flavor is not too strong, which is a major plus because I don't like it when it's too strong. Discovered this place via my Italian coworker who seemed to go quite often as we work just around the way on S Airport Blvd. I had to try it for myself. Their authentic Italian focaccia, praised for being soft, airy, and flavorful with various toppings and super reasonably priced can't be beat. You can get half a slab for $4 even & a whole for $8 flat! It's a small family owned business who bake w/ love & keep the place very well kept & clean. Cuneo is a true GEM. We've needed a solid bakery in SSF for a long time and I'm so glad I live walking distance to these guys because parking can be tough on Baden (aka non existent). Don't let parking deter you, however, as it's just a short walk from Grand Ave. The bread is INCREDIBLE. These folks really know their stuff. You can just taste the love and experience they put into the food. I've ordered baguettes, focaccias, pastries, olive loaf, biscottis, etc. and nothing has been disappointing. It isn't just the bread, though. It's a family run shop and everyone involved is always so kind and warm. Exceptionally friendly staff , warm and inviting. Loved how flavorful and light and airy the focaccia's are. I decide to pick up 2 savory and one sweet focaccia. The savory selections I took home were the Artichoke with Mozzarella, Sliced sweet tomatoes with rosemary and garlic. For the sweet it was a delish Raisin with a sugar or honey glaze. An amazing bakery with fair prices. The croissants are super flaky and delicious. The homemade focaccia was also really good although I do find some of them pretty salty. There is one piece of advice I have for this newish bakery is that if you say you open at 7am then please have your pastries and other items ready in the case ready to go. Having to wait 15-20 mins for croissant to still cool down is not great for people who are coming in before they have to leave for work. This is more of a 4.5 out of 5 place! Stopped by Cuneo on my way to work this morning to pick up a box of pastries for my coworkers. Prior to this, I've only known Cuneo through local delis and farmers markets as these were the places I'd buy their amazing focaccia. Then I actually stumbled upon their focaccia at a Nuggets Market while visiting family all the way in Roseville, which led me to wondering if their bakery ever reopened to the public. And yay, it did! :) Cuneo is family-owned and operated so when I came in this morning, I was immediately greeted by a man in front (who I think is a son of the family), a man who came out from the back, and a woman (who I think is the mother). I didn't get any of their names, but the man in front was incredibly helpful and took the time to let me know of every pastry they had - sweet, savory, etc. and any personal favorites of his and those close to him. The whole experience was quick but sweet. I even peeped some interactions among the family & you can tell there's a lot of love in that bakery, which is also probably why their baked goods are SO GOOD! I also appreciated that they were open right at 7am as stated in their hours. Unfortunately, parking is only metered/street but come anyway! I'll be back, thanks Cuneo! read more

I think it's 4.5 stars for food. This might be unfair, but my comparison for focaccia is to Liguria Bakery in North Beach, SF which I love and was introduced to in my teen years. Cuneo focaccia was really, really good- even held up well 2-3 days later after being refrigerated and reheated via the air fryer! My only small criticism is, preferring focaccia slightly plainer- maybe less sauce, less salty. But all had a nice crisp & very tasty. Tried 3 varieties and looking forward to trying other flavors. The apricot scone was truly one of the tastiest, moist, nicely textured scones. Didn't need the usual additions of butter or jam, like most scones require! 2 other fruit pastries, also very good. The person who helped us was really nice & friendly; patiently & thoroughly explained each variety of baked goods. Street parking can be tricky. Definitely will return to try more. read more
