I stopped here for lunch today because I have only eaten at Culver's a few times in my life so obviously it's not my favorite burger chain and I wanted to reacquaint my self with a cheeseburger. This is your typical custard restaurant with sandwiches, sides and cold sweet treats. They are known for the smash butter burgers so that's what I would order. Obviously I don't eat here a lot because I didn't know that the cheeseburger comes with no toppings and you have to request what you want for toppings so I opted for lettuce, onion, pickles, ketchup and mayo. I ordered a double fearing that a single would be small. To my surprise the burger comes in a box and a half wrap inside to hold it together. My cheeseburger looked ok and I noticed that the toppings are on the bottom. Everything was fresh and my cheeseburger was good but the red onions were very strong which over powered the other ingredients. overall it's not a bad chain cheeseburger but it's not one I care for taste wise in the chain burger world but I'm sure I will have one in the futur.

Unlike other Culver's in the area, this one gets the sizes right when it comes to the custard. Our sundaes were actually 2 scoops plus the toppings were ample. The flavor of the day was also 2 scoops and seemed appropriately full. Thank you for being a great custard place that doesn't skimp on the primary product you're shelling out. The staff was also cheery and quick to get the custard out to me. Didn't even have to wait in a spot or anything. Definitely recommend if you're up for some good custard!

Decided to stop by the drive-thru today to grab a bite after a long shift. When I get to the speaker, I'm told what the flavor of day is with a sigh... okay I get it we're ALL tired after a long day of work. Fine. When I get to the window to pay for my order, this white short pudgy white man with blue eyes hands me my order. I notice he only gave me my card but not a receipt. No biggie. I ask for a receipt... he responds sarcastically with "Do you need a cup of water too?" Really?!? Did *** I ask for a water? No, I didn't. Super RUDE. Unnecessary! Unprofessional. This encounter makes me think this wasn't the first time he's talked to someone like this. He's Very COMFORTABLE being nasty to someone who looks different than him. It's post-pandemic, times are tough as is. Not worth paying your hard earned money to get treated like you're inconvenience. By the way...there was literally NOONE BEHIND ME in line. I give benefit of the doubt when it's due but this time around, I recognize when someone is just being nasty to be nasty ***for no good reason. ****His name is not on the Receipt BUT he cashed me out on Register 4 TRN: 347532 Date: 6/14/2023 Time of Transaction: 3:22:54 PM Store #: 299 ****

Just your average Culver's location that's rather quite for a Saturday lunch hour. Drive thru is rather busy Nothing really stands out to make me give a 5 star review

the entice could have more handy cap spots.

okay now I have great burgers but this was amazing the fries could be salted better their pretzel bites are amazing same with their onion rings and their chicken strips are good the service there is amazing especially this one guy never got his name tho but he's a hard worker he would be taking orders and handing orders to people waiting overall it depends on whos working like there's this guy who used to stalk me my mom and my grandmother years back so now my mom won't go there unless I'm with her or my dad is and he's always been weird like he said my mom used to like him honestly get a life dude shes married. but I've been going there all my life and I guess I'm born into Culver's. and their frozen custard is great but they should put the flavor of the day on the menu...

Two girls chatting and leaning on the counter when there's obviously work to be done.

I love this Culver's. The service is great, the workers are always willing to suggest something if you're in an indecisive mood.

Culver's has sure gone down hill, today they served us re-fried chicken & old coleslaw. Very sad, it used to be one of my favorite places.

But it's pretty minimal inside and it's a place that you would get stuff to go. The guy at the counter was very nice and extremely helpful. I made a couple modifications and he was so kind about it even though I know I was being kind of annoying and apologized for it. He was so nice and did not make me feel bad. The service is great. I did notice that he both works the counter and cooks the food in the back, so he's clearly very hard-working. The fries were great crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The chicken sandwich was made well, but the chicken was a little bit dry, which is why I gave four stars instead of five. I added some extra sauce I had at home and it was perfect. I would maybe recommend asking for extra sauce if you plan on eating it there. Overall good food and great service. Will definitely be back if we need something quick to go.

First went to Oscars decades ago. I don't often get back, but I'm glad I made time when I was in…read morethe area. Food: I think the custard here is excellent. It's creamy, flavorful, and they give you a good portion. For the month of February, they had a special, "Cupid's Creation." Lots of yummy additions that give it amazing flavor and texture. It was larger than something I would normally eat, but it was oh so good. My friend had the vanilla malt, and he enjoyed that. FYI, my past experiences with some of the other cooked food items have not been stellar, so I only get ice cream confections when I'm there. Service: Friendly and helpful service from the person who took our order. Our ice cream desserts came out in short order. Atmosphere: The Red Barn exterior is cute and inviting. Love the cone-shaped sign out front. Inside is spacious, well lit, and clean. There are plenty of tables inside, along with tables at the front that have large windows that bring in natural light. Definitely a place that I would recommend for their ice cream!

I first heard about Oscar's while reading an article on Milwaukee's frozen custard scene, and I'm…read moreglad I gave it a try. For years Kopp's has been my go-to, but Oscar's has quickly won me over -- it's now my favorite frozen custard shop in the city. The texture is what sets it apart: dense, thick, and creamy, exactly how custard should be. Their flavors of the day change daily, and the website makes it easy to check ahead. I usually get a three-scoop dish, and Oscar's is also the best value of the big three -- $4.15 compared to $6.00 at Kopp's and $7.25 at Gilles. A neat tip: you can order a cone with your custard and ask for it in a dish -- they'll place the cone on top so you get the best of both worlds without the mess. They also serve burgers and fries, and I tried a hamburger once. While decent, I still prefer the burgers at Kopp's, so Oscar's will remain my go-to spot for a frozen custard fix. The West Allis location has plenty of parking and indoor seating. Service is fast and the staff are always super friendly. Between the price, texture, and flavor variety, Oscar's has become my top custard stop in Milwaukee. Highly recommended.

In front is a sunken tree garden that must be a neat place to enjoy your food when the weather is nice. It's very shaded and has nice benches and a relaxing vibe to it. It's also the only place that I saw to sit down and enjoy your food. Inside the building is quite large but only has about 4 tables to stand next to without any seats. I think most people either go eat the food in their car or take it home. I ordered 2 scoops of their frozen soft serve custard. The flavored scoops were vanilla and turtle pecan. It cost $5 and change which was a real value too. I stood in a short line and had my dessert in less than 5 minutes. They have several lines to stand in to serve the many customers who come here. The vanilla scoop was rich and delicious. The turtle pecan scoop rocked my world! It had many half pecans in it and the custard was perfect in a buttery like taste that made me what to order another serving but in the interest of my waistline I decided not to. This custard impressed me. They also serve burgers, hot dogs, etc. too and I am sure it's all good here. This is a big operation that serves many people. I counted somewhere between 15-20 people working there all dressed in their white uniforms behind the counter. I wish we had a Kopp's where I live!

I would habe given 5 stars if it were for custards only, but burger and fries were quite poor…read more Reading thru a lot of old and new reviews, both from Yelp and internet in general, I got the sense that burgers used to be a lot better in the old days. Having tried them for the first time, I have to say, I can completely understand why they would say that, even without prior knowledge. I could definitely see the potential from the first bite of the burger. Patties were cooked right and gave me pleasant feeling of decent bite, except for being a bit bland. Buns definitely did not add anything to the totality of the burger, staying consistent with what everyone says. Made me wonder what kind of buns they used to use that made it better. Did not care for the soggy, green leafy part of lettuce they shoved into it. Like a normal person, I prefer a bit of crunch in my burger lettuce, but it did nothing but take away from the experience. I was sold on the idea of fried onions, but my onions didn't look or feel fried. Maybe my expectations were different on what fried onions meant? I was imagining deep fried battered onions, but maybe what I got was non-battered fried onions. Either way, it didn't leave any impression. I think I also made the mistake of asking for ketchup and mustard without specifically asking just how much. My burger ended up being too sour due to too much of both. I think I read on their website somewhere that I was supposed to be able to taste the specialness of their Wisconsin cheese, but everything else about the burger was so overpowering that I barely could tell if there was any cheese at all. Fries were SUPER soggy from the get go. I *only* brought the bad outside to open it immediately after grabbing them, so it wasn't like they stayed in the bag long enough to get soggy. Now.. having said all that. Custards were amazing! Definitely at the top of my list of frozen custards I've had thus far. The girl at the counter had me try both the daily specials and both were super good. So good that I'll probably drive my girls an hour out here just to buy them custards, especially as it gets warmer. If it were just for burgers and fries, I might have given them two stars. But since the name of the institution is Kopp's Frozen Custard, I'm more inclined to be a bit forgiving.. I had them at 3 stars originally, but I think I'll bump it up to 4, landing them personally at 3.5.
