There is not a bad choice on the menu. All of the omelette are delicious and huge! They whip them before cooking so they come out fluffy, just giants clouds of delicious. Their crepes are tasty, with savory and sweet options - highly recommend the cherries kijafa. Try the Dutch baby! It's delicious, but you have to squeeze that lemon wedge over it, trust me. Divine. But the pancakes - you name it, they have it. They have my personal favorite, the best potato pancakes around. They are simply potatoes, very light, no onions or else with them in the mix, and they serve them with applesauce or sour cream. I get both. They don't have a bad seat in the house; most of the tables are booths, which I love for breakfast seating.

Our server was good and personable, he was great in checking for a lactose free beverage. I ordered the classic breakfast and my eggs tasted funny. Not bad enough that I'd be concerned about something being wrong but odd enough that I wouldn't order them again. My husband didn't like his pancakes like other times. Wouldn't rush to go back.

I got the Ferrero Rocher because I love those little chocolate balls and have never seen them on any ice cream menu before. It lived up to the name. Everything about it was incredible. The waffle so fluffy and warm. The big ass scoop of vanilla cold, a welcome thermal juxtaposition. Lots of little crunchy chopped peanuts. A lot of drizzled chocolate. Some whipped cream. And lastly two of the delicious hazelnut chocolates themselves. Those damn chocolates are not cheap. Getting two of them felt awesome. It was beautiful. Felt like the waffle in the box was their canvas, and they painted a truly delicious looking and tasting dessert. Normally I feel stupid paying this much for a nice dessert, as they look nice but taste mediocre. Not the case here. It's every bit as delicious as it looks.

The restaurant is pretty tucked away and not real big. It is at the intersection of Walker and Cesar Chavez. It is a very quaint little restaurant. I had an incredible discussion with the manager, Trenton as staff here are super friendly! They are still trying to get the heat fixed, so for now, you may want to get your order to go. You WILL want to try this place out though. The food is absolutely fantastic! I had a smoked ham and cheese omelette with hash browns and whole wheat toast. The omelette just melted in my mouth with delicious flavor! Hash browns were very good too! The prices are very reasonable! There is parking on the street out front, but it is metered parking. Unfortunately, no parking on the street at the meters during the week from 7-9 AM. The bubble waffle ice cream cones here are huge and incredibly delicious -- definitely big enough for two people to share! The waffles are freshly made on-site, so be prepared to wait a few extra minutes, but it's totally worth it. The quality is great, and while it's on the pricier side, it's to be expected with all the goodies packed into each cone. It's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall spot, but what an excellent find! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a fun and indulgent treat read more

I could've chosen a few the day I went in but went with my favorite type of ice cream- made with cold brew. A small size was more than enough for me (and bigger than I was expecting tbh) with a perfectly balanced coffee flavor. Definitely for those who appreciate coffee and I loved every bite! Staff was welcoming & quick to serve us. There is plenty of seating inside and outside of the store too. Prices are comparable to other ice cream establishments around the area. Scratch is a great place to stop by for a tasty treat of ice cream, especially if you're looking for some fun flavors!

Self-serve frozen yogurt spot. The frozen yogurt flavors here tasted very artificial and low…read morequality. The banana pudding froyo tastes overwhelmingly of artificial banana flavor and nothing else - not even a creamy note for the "pudding" aspect of the flavor name. The tart flavor had an extremely icy texture. The toppings here are also not self-serve - there is a plexiglass cover where you point out which toppings you want the worker to add to your froyo. I wasn't the biggest fan of this as I prefer adding the toppings myself. In addition, losing the ability to grab my toppings myself made it hard to gauge if the toppings were stale - unfortunately my watermelon gummies were extremely dried out/hard, which is something I could have determined myself had I been able to use the tongs myself to add to my bowl. The one pro is the pricing here is fairly cheap so that makes up for the low quality flavors and toppings here. I would choose any other froyo place in the area over this one if you want a decent tasting dessert.

I frequently like to ask what are some of the most popular items people buy when I go to a new place and aren't familiar with the offerings. There were a number of things on the menu - a variety of hot dogs, boba teas, and tornado potatoes. When I was there, several customers were enjoying a large bowl of shaved ice with toppings - that seemed to be popular. There are a few seats to hang around while snacking/eating. There is a large public parking lot just behind the shop up the hill, a conveniently located spot. I picked up a 3-pack of Mochiring doughuts, with the following flavors: mango; churro; brown sugar. The doughnuts were placed in a rectangular box which made it easy to carry home. Because it was hot, I ordered a fruit boba tea- mango with green tea and with mango-flavored popping boba. It was my first time to have the popping boba. The green tea plus the mango, which was recommend by the cashier/front counter attendant was really good. After trying the popping boba, it was fine, but I personally prefer the regular boba (I think it is a personal preference). I'd definitely get the green tea and mango combo again. The doughnuts were light and airy, and I like the fact they are small, sliightly smaller than bite-sized rounds. I'll come back another time to try the famous hot dogs - and I'd come again for the doughnuts, too. I recommend stopping by if you want to try something new.
