We drove from Lakeland it was a nice little drive. It was clean and the staff were ready and eager to take our order. When our food arrived at our table I could smell the burger smelled so good. The cheese curds were delicious, my chili cheese fries were outstanding, real chili was on them that was flavorful. My burger was near and looked like it needed to be framed lol so perfect. We went here to try Culver's as it had opened up a few weeks ago. My wife and I both had the deluxe burger and an order of cheese curds just to try them. The burgers were pretty good. I'm going to say that they will be giving Red Robin a run for their business. The place is super clean and the service was quick. Everyone we had contact with that worked there was really friendly. OMG can you please take some of the brownies out of the brownie overload. It's pure brownies and hardly any ice cream. Was horrible. I know what overload means but my goodness that's a bit much. To start with every table was dirty and needed, tending to. I ordered a cod, fish sandwich, basket with curds & a soft drink. When I went to go fill up my soft drink, the mellow yellow didn't work. First sandwich came out with an extremely tiny piece of over cooked fish that was fried so hard, I thought I was chewing on fish bones. They did remake my sandwich and unfortunately I had to leave as I ran out of time. Once inside my car and on the road, I took the first bite of the sandwich and again the piece of fish was again small, over cooked & very dry. If this was someone's first visit or experience to Culver's, I would definitely believe them to never return to the restaurant, as I will never return to this location, which is far inferior to the locations in Trinity and Lutz. I gave two stars as the manager as well as the front staff was apologetic for the error could not get a refund because I didn't have time to go back to the location. It was okaaay. I work at Culvers, but one that's about an hour away. My extra crispy fries weren't very crispy, they didn't keep them down long enough to lock in the crunchy golden edges. One or two of them were a little soft but that just happens. I also got a beef pot roast. I was shocked to bite into it and the meat be completely minced. We hand-shred it at our location with meat claws. But maybe they prefer it that way? It still tasted fine, except for the chunks of fat that weren't filtered out and recoded on waste. The cheese sauce was yummy tho. However, i admit it was late, around 9:20, so naturally, nobody is at their best near closing, after all, they have a close to do!!!! All and all it was good food. Just went there and got 2 atlantic cod fish sandwiches, i got there 15 minutes before closing, i looked in the bag and saw the two boxes and said ok i got everything and went home, i get home and my sandwich is missing the top bun. Unfortunately now they are closed and nobody answered the phone. So even though the fish is still really good, im not enjoying it as much as i would if i had both sides of my bread. We have been eating here for years since this location opened but as of late they keep fouling up our order and have to wait to remake I have brought my concerns to the owner who seemed interested but today October 30th we had the wrong cheese on our burgers and another remake when I tried to bring it to Marty the owner he blew up at me and said he didn't want to hear it and said then don't ever come back. I love the Reuben sandwich at Culver's. It's the reason I go there. Stopped in this Culver's yesterday and ordered my sandwich. It was horrible.
