Had lunch here this past Sunday. Nice decor for a non table service type restaurant, good Italian music overhead which was a surprise to us. We ordered baked pasta with marinara sauce, a chicken parm sub, and mushroom and truffle oil pasta. Based on on quick service restaurant the baked pasta was decent with no odd flavors, the chicken parm sub was tender and tangy with a decent tasting sub roll, and the mushroom pasta was very filling and average compared to other dishes I had in the past that were similar. Quaint, family friendly pasta place! There's still a plenty of space to sit though. The price was reasonable and the pasta was seasoned just right. (And you could actually smell the truffle oil!) My bf and I got the handcrafted pasta and the texture was great. It's notable that some of the other pasta are imported from Italy as well. read more

Ordered through a delivery service. Tried the BYO pasta. I chose Strozzapreti, Alfredo sauce, Italian sausage, and mushrooms. I'm not sure how to describe the Strozzapreti but it was phenomenal! This was a perfect portion for 2-3 meals depending on the person. I got 3 meals out of it. We ordered breadsticks to share but forgot to take a picture. Very disappointing. Just bread with what seemed like garlic seasoning. Only complaint is the mushrooms to add were $1.99, which there were not many mushrooms in my dish. read more

Tried this place- never going back. I ordered BAKED ziti and a chicken parm SUB. I received penne with a spoon or two or sauce with shredded mozz stuck in places.. and a chicken parm sandwich sampler ( probably the size of my palm) chicken was crunchy. Not sure how they get some good reviews.. but this is ridiculous. And for $15 pasta .. I'd like it to be an actual baked ziti.. and not some tossed pasta w some sauce. What a shame read more

I truly wanted to love this. Italian food is something I absolutely love and who wouldn't appreciate the concept of fresh food made from scratch? I was so excited when I heard about Pasta di Guy and expected to be a regular customer. I was so incredibly disappointed by what I ended up getting when I eventually tried them. If I had to describe my baked ziti in one sentence it would be, "Make me a baked ziti that has the least amount of sauce possible without having no sauce." (see attached photo) The whole time I was eating it I was thinking, "This sure would be a lot better if it actually had sauce." I came for dinner with my daughter and we both had the Chefs pasta with the vodka sauce and grilled chicken, two cream cheese cannolis and bread sticks, we ended up taking an additional truffle mushroom pasta and cannolis for my wife. Wow!!!! Authentic pasta and wonderful flavor. We ordered in and the order was correct. My husband had the red sauce and he loved it. I had the white sauce and it was absolutely yummy! This is kind of choose your base, protein and sauce. Among the pasta, they have their specialty chef pasta. It is strange shaped but catch a lot of sauce. Other pasta includes spaghetti, penne, zucchini pasta. I have chef pasta with aglio e olie sauce and sausage. The sausage is really delicious. My wife have chef pasta with Alfredo sauce with chicken. This is one of my family's regular take away spots for the past year. We like the chef's pasta (house made). Any of the sauces have been great, but I'm partial to the Alfredo. My husband likes the vodka sauce. Our order is always ready quickly, and it is prepared as requested. (I'm a sauce on the side person!). While the restaurant is small, there is some seating in a bright cheerful dining room with a view of the kitchen. Prices are extremely reasonable, and if you join frequent customer program, you'll occasionally get a nice discount. You won't be disappointed. read more

Well I was in the mood for some spaghetti or good chicken Alfredo and to my surprise this pops up on my search. I remember driving by so I figured why not. Man I wish I would have stopped by sooner. So it's not your traditional Italian place. It's semi fast food. You pick the pasta, the sauce and the add ons. It was definitely full of flavor, not like anything I would have imagined. Oh then we decided to get the Alfredo pizza and let me tell you I haven't had a pizza this good (Alfredo pizza) since Olive Garden used to make it. So I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu, which was the chicken Parm pasta. Instead of penne, I ordered the in-store made pasta which cost a dollar extra and which, according to the manager is the only pasta they actually create in store. The other pastas are from dry pasta. I was served what amounted to two large same size same shape pre-fried chicken nuggets with some kind of white cheese semi melted on top. The in-store made pasta was gummy, which usually means that it's been made with AP flour only and I could sense no semolina overtone to it. The tomato sauce was pasty and sweet. $20 cost including tip and the biggest disappointment since I ate at Fazoli's up the road. Two stars and I'm being very generous. read more

This place is unique, the dining area was much smaller than expected. The pasta is okay for a quick takeout dinner. I got the Alfredo Penne Pasta with chicken and I thought it was bland. It reminded me of chef boyardee. I gave them a second try and got the chef pasta with vodka sauce and Italian sausage. This was definitely much better than the Alfredo sauce. The pasta was fresh and the sausage with vodka sauce paired nicely. My third visit tried the Marinara penne pasta and I found it bland as well. This spot is a keeper! Was driving down BBD trying to figure out what to eat for dinner. As I passed Pasta di Guy, I said to myself let's try this pasta place and to my surprise it was delicious! I went on their website to order and do curbside pick up while I was running around doing errands. Called the number at the time the pick up was ready, they came out and off I went. I ordered the penne pasta with vodka sauce (marinara and Alfredo it says) with adding chicken and sausage. There was definitely more sausage than chicken so I'm glad I ordered two meats ($2 each). Both were very very good. Definitely going back to try the pesto pasta next time! Must try in the Wesley Chapel area! read more
