Came here on Saturday with small kids. Our friends come here often but it was our first time. The menu is very large. Service is also friendly and very quick. It's a very low key place, not a fancy one but it's very affordable and food is amazing. They have good amount of seating and place is clean and organized. Portions are huge! We had chicken parm and it is good for 3 people. We also had a salad that we enjoyed. Our friends had a pizza and we also ordered a pizza for our son (by slice). Overall we really enjoyed the food, very high quality and large portions. Definitely will be back. read more

You can't go wrong! Solid food made from scratch. Never had a bad meal here! Counter help is efficient and prompt. Pizza is always great as are the salads, sandwiches and pasta. It isn't fancy, but is so much like the pizzerias from where I grew up. These guys work hard and have exceptionally clear signage about their policies. It's a good solid pizza and pasta eatery! A personal favorite, and I very much enjoy coming here. While there are pizza choices in the area and some are very good, none of them are as reliable or consistent, nor as affordable. What happened to Capri Pizza New Tampa? Change of ownership, chef, recipe?! I was told none of the above but the Lasagna entree delivered by Uber Eats from the NEW Tampa location was about 1/4 of that typically received and tasted horrible! The bottom of the aluminum pan was watery and greasy with the rectangular lump of pasta floating in the middle of it, and the supermarket sized slice of mozzarella cheese was laying on top - not fully melted. I am so terribly disappointed! Their Meat Lasagna is usually hot and bubbly , almost spilling over the top of the container, so much so that two pans and lids were usually used. What arrived today felt like someone's leftovers and tasted worse than the Lasagna from the now defunct Johnny Ci's Pizza. Actually, maybe Capri hired their old chef! I received 6 HARD garlic rolls( though I only ordered three) as if it was a consolation prize for the revolting lasagne. But the usual rolls accompanying the entree were not included. The Mediterranean salad was almost as disappointing as the lasagna, with no pepperoncini , no dolma, no green peppers, white onions instead of red, and about half the usual size. Worse of all, when I called to ask what happened the people I spoke with were either oblivious to the changes in quality and quantity, or in denial (read lying), or both. Though the owner told me to use his name the next time I ordered, this meal was so fundamentally different from those I previously enjoyed and so distasteful that I don't want to know what difference using the owner's name would make. I've lived on Cross Creek for a combined 8 years and I have never stepped foot into Capri Pizza. I've always seen it and never thought to visit. I was having a craving for spaghetti out of nowhere. I put spaghetti in my Yelp app and Capri popped up...I said to myself, sure why not. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and a side order of calamari. Everything was cooked fresh to order, which I really appreciated. When I returned for my food they were still working on my calamari, which I found a little strange but I was totally ok with it...I rather have fresh food than stale food. When I got home, I saw why I had to wait-the amount of food that you get for the price is astonishing. I couldn't believe how much food I had. I must've eaten off of the food for three days!! The calamari was fresh off the fryer...it could've used a bit more seasoning to make it more flavorful but after I made my own bang bang sauce...I made it work since it had the most important component...crispiness. The spaghetti was delicious as well, I like my spaghetti a little sweet and spicy so some addition of sugar and hot sauce and I was a happy girl. They try hard but it's like they can't get out of thier own way. I ordered a pizza by phone ahead of time for take-out and still I had to wait 45 minutes once I got there. When I asked if I could speak to the owner, I was told he was too busy to talk to me. "Too busy to speak to a customer?" I said. He finally came out and I explained how long I have been waiting. He was very nice to me and took time to listen but even after a long wait and the time I spent with the owner my pizza was still not ready. Then when I did get the Pizza it wasn't what I had ordered nearly an hour earlier on the phone. Only 4 stars out of 5 because 5 of us ordered dinner tonight but 1 persons order was mysteriously cancelled. We found this out just moments before everyone's food was ordered. We ordered through their website. I should have kept an eye on my email but I wasn't thinking about that when ordering food. Sad. If it would've come as a text I would've known. So, 4 out of five give this a 5 star rating but the 5th could not eat so it was a zero from them. I'm posthe 5th would've vote 5-star, too...but I guess we'll never know. Update: still delish! The chicken Parmesan tasted like someone actually put the time into it to make it taste awesome, unlike most of those dinners you get in the frozen food aisles, the Alfredo didn't taste like it came out of a jar and the spaghetti didn't taste like it came out of a can! So after my 3 order trying to decide if I like them(I mean technically I liked them the first time around) I have tried their chicken cheesesteaks both phill and Cali and their both delicious. The first I ordered the philly chew steak it was a little dry but it also wasn't hot when I picked it up(that could be why I need my food steaming) Their cheese ravioli is ok, the red sauce was bland and the cheese stuffing almost made up for it. The spinach pasta was amazing and is a nice sized portion, possibly being able to feed two. I had leftovers for the next day. Stopped here for some pizza on the way home. Was able to grab 2 cheese pizzas and a drink for $6, not bad. The pizza was good and served promptly. The store was clean customer service was ok. Wow what an amazing experience and incredible eats. We started with an order of mild chicken wings that were over the top delicious, the sauce was perfect. My beautiful wife is a white pie junkie and decided to try a slice. She was blown away and made me swear to return tomorrow and get her a full pie. Next came the entrees where she tried the eggplant parm and I sampled the lobster ravioli in a "princess sauce" , a mixture of Alfredo and Marinara sauces.
