This place doesn't seem like much from the outside but please come inside and upon entering you'll find a wide array of alcohol and spirits. Not only this but also a wide variety of vinegars and spices. I believe the key to appreciating this venue though is speaking with the owners and chef as well as making an attempt to come to one of the events. The slew of pictures I have included was from one of these events, which showcased a variety of sparkling wines such as Spanish Cava and Champagne (which by definition is from France). The pastries thus included were an array that were created in house by the talented chef. It was a great way to try out some of the variates in many of the drinks and also showcase the different pallets that the desserts could bring out. All in all it was a swell experience and a great display of hospitality from its owners. read more

5 stars I'm obsessed with vomFASS! I have visited this place probably 5 times in the past 6 months. They have an array of different olive oils, vinegars, wines, and alcohols for tasting and buying. Their spice section is pretty great, too. It mostly includes Mediterranean, Italian, and Middle Eastern spices. I'd recommend the Baharat and Lamb Tangine. Additionally, you can order a drink and enjoy it there or take it to go. They make it in front of you with their fresh ingredients. I've only tried the margarita, and it is excellent. Every time I have gone in there, they have been very friendly and offered wine tastings. The staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. I haven't tried any of their tapas yet, but looking forward to in the future. read more

We have visited this store Many times over the last 4 years. Tons of great products and spirits. So much fun to taste the different oils and vinaigrettes. A little over 2 months ago they brought in a husband wife dream team. She is a chef (mind blowing/phenomenal chef) and He is a craft mixologist (he doesn't drink alcohol...he mixes with a gastronomic approach!) This is a foodies dream. Try the chefs sampler for an amazing tasting menu!!! I can't put it into words eloquently enough when trying to describe how incredible this place is to friends and family. Just Do it! You won't be sorry. Going back tonight for the 3rd time in 2 weeks :) I recommend once again the sampler, a version of a strawberry daiquiri, spicy tequila based drink (he will no what to do), and for dessert...truffles. read more

Very cool new store at Wiregrass Mall. They sell different types of olive oil, vinegar, wine, cognacs, whiskeys, and liqueur. I love the little ceramic containers that the oil and vinegar are in. I also love the barrels that the liqueurs are in. This is a nice upscale stir for fun things to cook and drink with. I have tried a few balsamics and you can try the nice distinct flavor. This store is conveniently located next to the Macy's and the center stage area! Check it out! read more

We have tried to go here three times. I know shame on us for still trying. We're told the same thing every time "all tables reserved, sorry". All the tables say reserved every time. They don't remove the signs. The most recent time was Saturday. It was 3 pm and we thought let's give it a try. Only two tables were occupied. We were told sorry it's all reserved for the event. The event was at 6 pm. I laughed and told my husband, they obviously don't want walk in business from a place in a mall. The only time we were able to eat we made reservations. The food was good and service was good. Friends decided to meet us and we said we have two more joining us and where told, they can come but they can't sit. The tables are reserved. We looked around and we were only one of two tables. When our friends got there they really didn't give them chairs to sit. Would to love to be a regular but we don't pre-plan on going to the mall we just go. Too many other options to hang out at the mall then to have only go with reservations. read more

Came across this place while wandering around Wiregrass today with a friend. Was not expecting to find such an interesting shop like this around here! The store representative was super friendly and welcomed us to try samples of her recommendations and things that we enjoyed. Mind you, this place has plenty of vinegars, oils, wines and spirits to try (sorry folks, not self served and a rep will help you!). Everything was fresh and very high quality. The store originates in Germany and is focused on artisan products from around the world. We got to sample 20 year old apple whiskey as well as a blend of pumpkin seed oil & cranberry balsamic vinegar. YUM! The store has monthly tastings (check their fb page for dates) which come at a cost but include food and drinks. The items are priced fairly in my opinion. You can choose the size of the product you want to take home (and for the oils/vinegars they even have star and diamond shaped glass containers!). I highly recommend you check this place out if you appreciate unique products. read more

This is subpar. Do not waste your money here. This place left me with a bad taste and I wouldn't recommend it. After tasting a few samples - I wasn't in love with the products to be honest but my aunt really wanted to buy some gifts for me to go home with for the rest the holiday. Long story short - my family & I were treated extremely poor. While we were being rung out - my aunt wanted to have a toast and wanted to wait until the soda we ordered for my little cousin came - which it never did. Instead my aunts bag was moved from the seat and my 7 year old cousin told to move and was told by the manager he already cleaned the table we were already sitting at!!! Clearly my holiday shopping bags were still on the seat - we were still seated!!!! We decided not to purchase anything as we were being rung out and I made sure they knew exactly how I felt. Do not discriminate against anyone and treat everyone kindly. I will not support a business with poor customer service or any type of discrimination. Never once apologized instead blamed shop lifters from Victoria's Secret coming into their place of business. Thanks but no thanks!!! read more

Sadly VomFass sells inferior quality products, and the staff has little useful information. I asked how old their balsamic vinegar was, and the staff did not know. I asked to taste their best balsamic, but it was poor, equivalent to a bottle one can find in Publix. I resorted to going to South Tampa to Joe and Sons Olive Oil on Bay to Bay. That store's stock is first rate, and the staff know when the olives were harvested and how long the balsamic has been aged. VomFass is to balsamic as McDonalds is to hamburgers or Pizza Hut is to pizza. read more
