I ordered this based on the reviews. On a golf trip with my buddies and Saturday night we ordered 2 Dominos pizza after the casino. TAsted like Dominos, not good. So I looked on Yelp for our Sunday evening pizza upgrade and found Napoli. Had it delivered via DoorDash and it was WORSE than the Dominos. The sausage was like little premade pea sized sausage, there was no sauce and it was just horrible. i'm sure the guy is super nice and maybe the reviews come from the owner just being a great guy or something. During our stay in Tampa this weekend, we decided to try Napoli, which was just around the corner from our hotel. The reviews were mostly positive, with a few negative ones, so we ordered a couple of pizzas to take back. In hindsight, I should have checked the boxes before leaving. I've never had a flatter, duller, more disappointing pizza in my life. My son and I had joked about ordering from the Hungry Howie's across the street--turns out, that would have been the better choice. The pizzas had almost no sauce, the crust was flat, and the sausage bits were awful--honestly, they looked like cat kibble. These guys really need to learn how yeast works because their dough was seriously lacking. If you're in Temple Terrace and craving pizza, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! read more

On Saturday evening, we were feeling hungry and since we wanted a quick food we decided to order from Napoli Pizza through Uber Eats. From Napoli, we ordered Vegetarian Pizza. The order was delivered in 30 minutes through Uber Eats. The service was very good. The pizza delivered was hot with the fresh vegetable ingredients. This is the cheapest tasting pizza ever but the price is very steep. Costco pizza taste better the cheese tasted old, sour, and had a weird after taste. The sausage was so bad it tasted like grease and bland pork. $28 gone. The wings were not fully cooked(still bleeding on the bone). And there was so sauce. I googled it and this lil place had ONLY 5 star reviews: in fact, 47 of them!!! WOW! The next week we went to go order, we looked up their website...there's no way to order from their website. He took my order and name and number. He said it'd b ready in twenty minutes...on a Saturday!??! SOOOO FAST!! We came to pick up. This pizza place had the best crust I have ever had in my life! They are also the only pizza place that I have been to recently that offers turkey bacon, turkey pepperoni, beef pepperoni oh, and I really appreciate that! I don't eat pork, so this place was very special to me. It's located a few blocks from USF oh, and that is out of the way. I would still order delivery through the slice app. The prices are not high for the quality ingredients! You can taste the difference and your body feels the difference. I would say that any athlete health-conscious person who likes to eat Quality Pizza can come here and get a great slice. read more

If i was doing a Dave Portnoy review it would be much worse. I can't completely slam a small business because they have fake reviews, but there's no way this pizza alone is worth 4.5 stars. The price was decent at 16.99 for a large pizza. The crust and base of the pizza was overly doughy, not cooked completely through. Lots of cheese and mediocre sauce. The pizza gets 2 stars and the business itself gets 4 stars for price and store appearance. This pizza is slightly better than frozen pizza but sold out of a Starbucks. Got a custom pizza tonight- spicy little twist on a Hawaiian pizza- added some jalapeños and BBQ chicken! They recommended their wing sauce for the chicken. Absolutely perfect! I requested thin crust and it was the perfect thickness so it wasn't too thin in the very middle where it usually gets soggy, but wasn't too thick at the edges by the crust. Ahh-mazing! I also ordered the cheesy bread and that was a great fluffy French bread style topped with cheese and flavorful herbs. Was disappointed it did not come with marinara sauce. If I was asked to add it when ordering I would have gladly paid extra to include it. Delicious and fulfilling meal throughout! Came out to Tampa for Busch gardens but wanna go back for Napoli's pizza. At first upon looking at the menu I started to get hungry so we called them, and ordered a large Napoli style pizza because I personally love a variety of toppings which was perfect for a couple that can eat their fill. The service and ambience was amazing plus they have a very sanitary restaurant. The location is great for a retreat from traffic no matter if you're heading home or coming through.
