OK folks this is a fast food restaurant but plan on taking a step up from the rest. You can't come to Culver's without trying the cheese curds and a butter burger except when you're craving a salad. I had the cranberry chicken salad and I was not disappointed the lettuce was cold and crispy and no skimping in bacon, blue cheese and chicken. Culver's is clean too. That's important to me. We LOVED going to Culver's. Great burgers, fries and union rings. But lately they are becoming Californiafied! First they raised their prices. Then started charging for BBQ & RANCH sauce, but today they charged for fry sauce in drive threw. So they expect you to eat your fries (that you purchased) without sauce. Very disappointed with Culver's. My family and I just went through the drive through and ordered 4 ice cream cones. They were so messy (all melted and dripping off the cones) we sent 3 of the 4 back. I really wish I could have taken a picture to show how bad they were. For close to $10 I expect a lot more. I will not be going back. The prices are way too high and the customer service was horrible (why would you give someone a come that is dripping all over??). A chain burger joint , my first visit to a Culver's, gave me a better dinning experience than most of the other restaurants I've been in the past 2 months (close to 70). Katie, the Manager, greeted my upon entry, walked me through the menu, made a few suggestions and even let me use a coupon for something I was getting later. I got the double with cheddar, bacon and the works. The flavor was great but the burgers were thin and another slice of bacon would have been good. Based on other reviews I tried the cheese curds. They were better than fries, stayed hot longer than fries do and were nice and crispy. My chocolate Custard was lovely. I didn't know it was a chain so I won't go back... First time here, thought it would be great with all the high reviews, but first walked in and the place did not smell clean at all..smelled stale, musty and old. Ordered sandwiches (bland), chili cheese fries (okay), mashed potatoes and gravy (tasteless) and cheese curds (hard). The sandwiches looked and tasted pathetic (no taste or condiments), the mashed potatoes came with no gravy and when we were more than halfway done with the mashed potatoes, they came to our table with the gravy. First off, this was by far the worst Culver's we've been to. Save yourself your time and money and eat at the competitor down the road. When ordering we felt rushed. We then had to park and wait. Then they gave us the wrong food and we had to come back. When we came back they gave us our food and it was still incorrect. If you're going to rush your customers and be rude then make sure you're entering their order correctly. Also, make sure you're giving them the items they ordered and paid for. Our food was cold and they did not remake it. Not to mention it was greasy and there was a hair in our food. This place is disgusting and unsanitary. When I called to complain that evening I spoke to a rude worker. I was not satisfied with their response and lack of concern regarding the issues I experienced. It was truly the worst experience and they do not live up to the Culver's standard. They need new employees and management. I love Culver's. Compared to other fast food restaurants with the "cookie cutter" style of burgers, Culver's burgers look as if they are hand prepared and tastes way better. Their crinkle cut fries are one of my favorites, as I'm pretty old-fashioned. Their cheese curds are yummy but doesn't rival their ice cream. Culver's ice cream is a whole new world on its own! You can create your own concrete mixers (pick flavor of ice cream, and add up to two toppings with additional costing extra $) and know for sure you're in for a treat. Twin Falls gets real excited when a new chain restaurant opens in town. For those of us who've grown up in the area, it's mostly because we're just bored of eating at the same places. Novelty, like hunger, is an excellent sauce. Truth of it is, this is a chain place. It has chain flavor, chain atmosphere, chain pricing. Everything was average in a safe, predictable manner. At this time, I can only offer 3 stars. I may have to sample more of the menu, particularly the dessert items. Good ice cream will get them another star. However, after trying their burgers and fries I would rank them below Jack in the Box and well below Five Guys for corporate competition. And below Burger Stop for local competition. It's not bad. I recently spent a few weeks in Twin Falls. While a pleasant town it's not known for its staggering culinary choices. I can live with that. Culver's was a tasty treat I enjoyed a few times. This was my second visit to this Culvers location. The first visit was a solid 3 star, the most recent visit was a 2 star. I know my review will sound a bit whack-a-doo, however I travel Coast to Coast by car several times each year and Culvers is my MUST have food on any trip through Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, etc... The staff at this location is very friendly and the restaurant is super clean which is a plus... The problem I had with my most recent visit is to me what separates Culvers from the other fast food chains out there. Culvers is a Fast Food burger - done to perfection every time. My most recent visit the cheese was placed on the bottom bun with the burger patty on top and the cheese was ice cold. I'm not sure if the person cooking forgot to put the cheese on all 4 of the burgers we ordered and it was an after-thought - but it IS all about the cheese!!!! Anywho - the burger was tasty, but I don't know why they couldn't have slapped it in the microwave for 10 seconds OR put the cheese on the patty for the last 10 seconds it was on the grill (and on top of the burger, not on the bottom). Okay - so yes I'm a whack-a-doo. It is nice to finally have this delicious chain in Idaho, so I will be a repeat customer - I just hope they learn to perfect the things that make a Culvers a Culvers! Wisconsin is known to many as only having two distinct seasons; nine months of winter and three months of bad sledding. But weather is not the only thing that I remember about the state; cool summers, no poisonous snakes, Badgers, brats, pig on a cow (you gotta be from there to get that one), a bar on every corner (sometimes two) and the omnipresent fried cheese curds are all iconic images that are conjured up whenever you think about the dairy state. Oh yeah, there is one more thing . . . Butterburgers! Butterburgers are another icon that have been making their way out of the borders of Wisconsin, and we have Culver's to thank for it! Culver's, from its origins in Sauk City, WI (a location I have personally frequented), to their newest location in the heart of Idaho, has been providing some of the best quick service burgers in the country! Andrew Zimmern seems to also agree with my opinion over at his site. I migrated to Idaho less than a year ago and have been jonesing for a good quick service burger since I got here, so when I heard of the new Culver's Twin Falls location, I made a point to schedule a visitation! As I pulled up to the parking lot, I felt right at home! The interior was also reminiscent of all other locations and I began to anticipate the flavors. I was greeted with extreme warmth. And even though the young girl taking my order was new, she was being assisted by the owner's mother who was there from Beloit Wisconsin to help her son open the store and train the new employees. Shen engaged each customer and thanked them for coming in. A nice personal touch. The food at Culver's has always been quick and delicious. The fries are always hot and fresh and I have never had a complaint about messed up orders or poor quality food. Never. Today was no exception. Good food and friendly service at a reasonable price. Add to that the cheese curds and the frozen custard and you just made me a very happy customer! I sincerely hope that Culver's continues their expansion into Idaho. Rumor has it that a Meridian location is planned for 2015 which is where I currently reside. I, for one, can't wait! read more

I was NOT impressed at all!! We both got sourdough burgers. The burgers came on plain white bread, not round like the picture and not sourdough. The burger MIGHT have been in there somewhere amongst the tons of glazed onions. The food was overpriced. I wouldn't go there to eat, but I do love their ice cream. I've been on 3 different occasions to eat and haven't liked anything I've gotten. I don't know how you mess up chicken strips, but Culver's has managed it. I also tried their fish n chips and they weren't very good either. I do go here often for dessert and I do love their $2 pint deals on saturdays! I wish they were more consistent with the flavors on saturdays though.
